How about arranging a show with rage against the machine, raise money in bitcoin to pay them those who'll contribute will surely come, that would be the most anarchist thing ever. Rage against the machine with bitcoin? damn!
I mean it would be an interesting party, but you also have to find a way to get the community to have a sizable number of people willing to contribute, on top of show up to such an event, and a lot of people aren't able to go to something like that. Maybe the online party comments are a bit more plausible, since it's almost guaranteed most of the community would be able to connect to it in some way.

As happy as the market value makes me, always be aware that things might go awry and there might be some falling out which might damage the value. Hopefully $10k is here to stay, but you never know for sure.

There is a bitcoin meet up happening in my city this December! Lots of enthusiasts will attend - its definitely a great way to meet more people in the cryptoscene and people always leave with a very bullish feeling for the future.

A party is never a bad idea, we should definitely celebrate historical days or events that happen in crypto!

I never though someone will think a celebration about this major milestone. KUDOS to you iamTom123 for starting the party! I hope by posting here we are with you in this tread party. I think Satoshi would be proud of you. Anyway, it is really good idea to host a real party. And donation wallet must be created and a committee must be establish to make this more credible and worthy. I hope I could lend my hand to make this possible. To all of the bitcoiner out there join us and let’s celebrate and party together!  Wink

As Bitcoin has already surpassed the $10,000 mark successfully in the past few days and is now even posed to easily win over the $11,000 level soon, am thinking that maybe it is time to have some celebration online or offline! What about some beer or a champagne celebrating this very important and historic landmark for Bitcoin? This moment can enter into Bitcoin's history as one to be remembered for a long time and years from now we can look back at 2017 when Bitcoin made its biggest bull run so far after being tested with fire in the last few months notably the China ban and the recent 'civil war' with BitcoinCash which saw its value dipped (made some happy to buy more at that time). Well, indeed, what does not kill China will eventually make it stronger.

We are celebrating for various reasons and at the top of that is that Bitcoin has finally arrived in the mainstream consciousness and is now undergoing the process of legitimization which is serving as a recognition of its status both as a currency and store of value coming from the same sector that threw big doubts over its viability when it started and even when it already shown some strength in the market. Bitcoin is here to stay and if China was not able to make it a rug then I don't think any country can be able to do it since it is impossible for them to get united in many pressing issues much more on Bitcoin.

Let's forget for a while all the FUDS and negative connotations surrounding Bitcoin and stop thinking about the possible correction, retreat, crash, bubble, fraud, ponzi, money laundering, criminal activities and everything else. It is time to celebrate even just for one day and savor the experience of being a part of the Bitcoin journey!

Talk about jinxing yourself.  Until you've cashed out your BTC into something tangible you haven't earned or otherwise accomplished anything.  Haven't you ever heard of the saying "Don't count your chickens before they hatch"?  This community is insane.

We can make it not only in Germany, lol

Maybe make a crypto party that will happen every year. A country will host it. An event where crypto personalities are invited and chill together. Everything in the event will be paid thru crypto currencies. Live bands would be very cool too.
