Monero has had very good volume over the last year, so it is a very good choice to add to BTC-E.

if any coin gets added, it should be one that genuinely offers something unique to the community... not just some other altcoin that claims to do X or Y differently, but is functionally no different than any other coin.
NXT would definitely fit that bill, but perhaps NXT's development needs a bit more maturity first. BTC-e wouldn't be able to just drop it in like they could with most other alt-coins... they'd have to write a new api to communicate with it... but having NTX/BTC, NTX/LTC, NTX/(fiat) pairs available to trade, would definitely add some value to BTC-e...

Yeah XMR would work well for BTC-e. The KYC rulings at Poloniex potentially alienated a lot of big XMR players that would gravitate to BTC-e in a heartbeat if it were to adopt it.
Do BTC-e have an expansionist policy at all though? They don't seem to be particularly interested in furthering their market position.

How about Monero and NXT? Both are high-volume traders on Poloniex. Monero is usually in the top three volume-wise and Nxt is often in the top ten.
I guess they are mainly interested in trading volume. So then Doge would be a perfect addition to their service.

They haven't added any for like 2 years (XPM and FTC) and those got delisted so I doubt they are thinking of adding more.

What alt coin would you like to see listed next on BTC-e? One that would be worthy of the high volume action we all know BTC-e can generate.
Myself, I would love to see DigitalCoin (DGC) posted there... its a fairly distributed coin (virtually no premine), its a true "legacy" alt coin like PPC/XPM/NMC, it has great devs and community support, and has very low entry price point (1-2 cents).
