Downloading the app for your trading activities I don't think is a good thing, even though it is the official application of the exchange that you will use for trading.
Many suggest this and that to secure your smartphone but still smartphone are more risky to lose than laptop or PC because you will continue to carrying wherever you go, and when your smartphone is lost you are in a dangerous condition of losing data and other things that you save it in smartphone even if you have secured a smartphone there will be a gap to unload all you data.
It would be better to use a browser via laptop or PC because the appearance of laptop or PC will be wider than a smartphone that will make it easier for you to see the buy or sell order and also chart.

Hello everyone, I am interested in this question, I want to play on the exchange, sell and buy cryptocurrency in order to be in the black, I intend to do all my activities on my smartphone, what applications do I need to install and what would they be effective? Thank you very much

If you want to buy and sell a cryptocurrency, you only need to download apps for trading. As far as I know, TabTrader will help your trade. You can do all your trading activities with those apps even you can withdraw the money if you set it up in your exchange account.

You don't need to install the other apps or whatever you called, and you only need apps for trading, that's it. But you can follow the other suggestion from other members.

Wallets for phone include Bitcoin Wallet for Android and Electrum for Android.

For OTP generators, there is the official Google Authenticator, but I think that's bloatware and I use the FreeOTP one made by RedHat, it's also on the Play Store.

I don't know if there are equivalent apps for iphone / ios.

I also have my fiat banking apps on my phone, but it's really more to look at my balance when I use my accounts or cards. (debit cards, credit cards.)

VictorBit23, for start crypto exchange is not a place to play - it's a completely wrong approach to something that is very serious, unless you want to intentionally lose your funds, which would be really weird.

Another thing that is wrong is using your smartphone for trading, I think you limit yourself in that way because it's much easier to do it on a personal computer. Also, it should be noted that depending on your phone OS/version you may be exposed to various security risks, no matter if you use an Android or iOS. If you have serious intentions of using a smartphone for cryptocurrency, buy some of the newer phones who regularly receive updates.

Since you are into tradings scene and want  to follow the market maybe it's best  for your to download the coinmarketcap,Blockfolio,Coinstats,Cryptocompare, cryptopanic and cryptonews app to help you track the daily activity and latest new in the crypto and market scene.

Also don't  forget the 2fa app to secure your assets from attackers.

Don't download thousands of app in your mobile. Download the exchange app which is more reliable and profitable for you.Enable your 2FA to verify your identity while doing the transactions.
Before install any app try to read reviews on forum and on the official websites of the exchange so that you can understand the pros and cons. So choose the best app which is convinient for you.

Authy if you have an iPhone, or Google Authenticator on Android - necessary to use 2 Factor authentication

Do not forget to keep your secret key safe for Google Authenticator too.
Just save them in a text file and then encrypt it with notepad++ and nppcrypt.
Archive the file too if you want another layer of password protection.

Also, do not root your Android phone or Jailbreak your iDevice where you are going to install the trading application.
It literally makes the smartphone so susceptible to malicious programs.

I think the only one you need is a 2FA app like Google Authenticator.

If you have already an operational wallet elsewhere it would be better to only install a wallet in Watch Only mode on your smartphone, that is to say without its seed/private keys, or only with imported BIP38 addresses(ie with a password) that you use once.

If you haven't already a wallet elsewhere, it's not highly recommended to store huge amounts on it (even if it's safer than a hot wallet on a PC IMO) without being extremely cautious : don't root your smartphone, don't install weird applications on it, be careful that nobody knows you have a big amount of cryptos on your smartphone, don't expose your PIN code and above all : backup your seeds or private keys elsewhere, smartphones are easily broken and stolen.

Blockfolio or Delta - to always keep an eye on your investesments, very usefully if you have altcoins around exchanges, easy way to check all in a round

Some coins have mobile wallets, i suggest dont use them, you can lose your phone easily and dont want to lose your crypto too.

If you are android user, be careful with fake apps, yobit and other sites are impersonated by fake apps to steal your money.

You will start receiving a lot of scam emails, always double check every email you got, dont click on any link, unless you are sure about the source,

coinbase, blockchain, and a lot of crypto related apps or sites are always impersonated by scammers.

I dont suggest trading on phones, if with big screens is hard to see the full perspective, with small screen is very very hard, and also not good for your eyes  Grin

Hello everyone, I am interested in this question, I want to play on the exchange, sell and buy cryptocurrency in order to be in the black,
I'm not familiar with exchanges which also have mobile app but you can also by crypto using your wallet if you want. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think much better to do crypto trading on PC or at least in laptop for easy price monitoring because AFAIK you can't get live price updates from such apps.
I intend to do all my activities on my smartphone, what applications do I need to install and what would they be effective? Thank you very much
All you need is Google Play store if you have an android phone or Apple App store for Apple users. Or if you don't eant to use either of the two then download apks from your browser (I suggest you to use Brave Browser) Smiley.

Just check what you want to download very carefully. The Poloniex exchange for example for a long time didn't have an official application and people often downloaded the application from scammers.
First, choose the exchange on which you will trade. Then read the general security basics related to the phone and the security of working on the exchange (protection of the mailing address, 2fa, etc.). There are various topics in this section - check out. And never put unnecessary applications - all sorts of trading bots, market monitors and the like - all this is unnecessary and can lead to losses. You need an application from the exchange for trading and an application for 2fa. Or sometimes you can trade through the web browser interface.

-Don't just download random things you will saw on the internet/playstore.

....and more importantly, "think before you click".
From all advices this one is most important because hackers invent new ways to scam people.
All the time, constant flow of new ideas that was never seen before. How to counter that? How to prepare people.
Only one universal rule helps here, think before you click!

What do you need to download?
I think it is the other way around.

Uninstall everything you can, and keep it as light as possible Smiley

You don't need to install any app before you can be able to trade on exchanges except you want to download the official app of the exchange, you should be safe as long as you use a very strong password that you haven't used before and also make sure you activate 2FA.

No need to go too much technical on this. No need also to downloads tons of security apps. The way how you maintain security when browsing at your desktop is almost just the same as your smartphone.

-Use a screen lock + app lock (do have a habit of setting up an app lock to those important applications such as Gmail, crypto mobile wallet, Messaging apps e.g FB Messenger or any apps that involved your privacy)

-Connect on your own network. Be cautious when connecting on a public network.

-Don't just download random things you will saw on the internet/playstore.

....and more importantly, "think before you click".
