They are a simple new game on the ethereum blockchain that can make you some money. It appears to be the new hype these days but their game causes many issues. The network gets clogged alot now because of the generated transactions from this game. Hopefully we won't get into the same hole like with bitcoin and its fees and confirm delays.

Hi, you need a metamask account (it's a web browser addon), when you get your ETH adress in metamask, you then need to send funds to it in order to buy kitties.
If you have metamask on you should see a window pop up wehn you try to buy one.
I hope this article will help you https://tonyy.in/guide-to-buying-cryptokitties-ethereum-game/

Thanks the article was informative, now i got some idea about it . But wonder what would happen if nobody buys my cats after I breed them. If I can't sell my cats then I'll be in loss right? Or what would happen if most of them stopped playing the game anymore my ETH would be stuck in the stupid virtual cats right? So either way it's a waste of money and time for us only profitable for the Devs I guess.Glad I didn't waste my ETH

Some people compare Cryptokitties to Cabbage Patch Kids or the Pokemon craze.

So they are some sort of crypto-game for cats, or crypto-coins for pets.

No, it's digital collectible item (completely useless thing). Just another way how to get some money from people .... this time aimed to cat lovers.
Given how much money devs earned, I bet there are crypto dogs in development already.

This is pretty much the reason why there has been so much congestion with ETH. Some people compare Cryptokitties to Cabbage Patch Kids or the Pokemon craze.

I came across Cryptokitties a few days back through an article in Cointelegraph. It said that you can earn ether by breeding cats. I have searched the forum regarding cryptokitties and didn't find a single post. I just registered in Cryptokitties and i dont know how to move forward. So, if anyone here have tried it. Please guide me on how to earn ETH
