When I was new to the cryptocurrency network I don't have a very clear understanding about bitcoin and its efficient functioning. Further whenever my friends ask I used to explain it as an medium of transaction which has got numbers that has value in terms of USD, but can't be taken in hand as we have the common currency. Some people used to term it a gambling token, I just ignored and started to learn more and understand it better.

in my opinion bitcoin is the future currency and payment instrument digitally whose value changes at any time bitcoin can also be categorized as a very profitable investment because the system used by bitcoin is not a third party system or bank intermediary
It's investment mostly for people who understand the industry, it's profitable indeed if you have a wide knowledge so you can take
some good chances, the market will be favorable if you have good understanding.

I often hear a lot of things said about the creator of bitcoin and how he is completely anonymous.  Many people think he just made this to get rich quickly and will eventually dump the early coins that he mined himself.  Another common term people throw against bitcoin is "ponzi" and pyramid scheme".

I have heard a lot of things about Bitcoin.

This is an example of when BTC hit like 18-19K.

So one day I called a cab. On the way home there was some heavy traffic. I and the driver started talking about things and he was just so crazy about Bitcoin price. He didn't know anything about it but this is what he said - "I will go to the bank, get a big loan and buy bitcoins with all the money"...

A lot of people said these kinds of things when BTC price was 18-19K Or even 15K.

And what is now?  They see that BTC crashed, and now I hear this - Is it too late now to buy bitcoin? Is Bitcoin ever be so high again? All these things. Mostly these questions come from those people who just heard about Bitcoin.

That was the idea of this post - https://paybis.com/blog/is-it-too-late-to-buy-bitcoin/  I hope I can post a link because it is educational and maybe it's useful for those who just cannot Google that information but asks everywhere the same question - what's happening, is it too late to buy but are too lazy to do their own research.

I mean - It's never too late to buy something, but before you do, you need to find the right time to do that.

Its normal for people to say negative to BTC when they don't know anything about it but the negative news about it. Its something new to a regular people, I weren't that informed about BTC until I go here and read about it. For someone to have an opinion about BTC, they need to at least read what its about, how it have evolved over time and the altcoins.

They’re saying a lot of different things. Check out our list of wildly different opinions. Computer scientists will tell you it’s a payment system that’s a public digital ledger that lets people make peer-to-peer transactions safely and securely across borders without the need for intermediaries. That means no bank accounts, no clearing houses, no merchant processing services, no remittance software. Plenty of bankers will tell you it’s a Ponzi scheme.

What are you think about Bitcoin?

We are living in a free world right now. Everyone can criticize everything. Criticism is always normal. But the insult is something different.

What you think about Bitcoin?

I just have one thought about bitcoin which is, Bitcoin is the future of money so if you intend investing in the future then owning some bitcoin will be the perfect starting point. Whether you think of bitcoin as a currency or investment vehicle you should understand it's the future of money and money involves currency and investment so bitcoin is the full package.

People in my area here saying bitcoin is a hyip and ponzi scheme which is not true.

Lack of information and knowledge about bitcoin in my country makes people don't know much about bitcoin and people here always talk shit to bitcoin.

Naturally, if a banker says bitcoin is a ponzi scheme, because they really don't like bitcoin they don't even know the true bitcoin. So we only focus on what becomes Satoshi's vision, that bitcoin is the future of digital currency.

Strangely, why are banks interested in the technology adopted by bitcoin, namely blockchain? is this a bank tactic for dropping bitcoin?

It's to be expected that banks will say that bitcoin is a type of ponzi scheme are they are going to do everything just to stop bitcoin because bitcoin will surely affect the banks in the near future.

But for us and for my opinion, bitcoin is our freedom in crypto world as we can almost do everything in the web without the interference of the government and middle man especially the banks. We can use bitcoin for investment, payment option and many other good things as long as we are going to use it in a good way.

Bitcoins in my way is something that is not a Currency but much like stocks but not backed by anything and not guided by anything therefore I think it's not even meant to be a Currency , it's best at what It does , it may be volatile at times and at times it may give proficient gains .

But that's the essence we all are bidding here and we all support this , we should accept the losses if we are accepting the 1000 times profit that we make here.

It's an amazing platform to earn , to make contacts to trade.

Each people has their different opinion with bitcoin. For me bitcoin is an alternative medium of exchange, and could be an investment tool. However, some people think bitcoin is a scam or a ponzi-scheme, especially in our country. People who don't know bitcoin too well, it would define them as scam, this is due to some people are using the name bitcoin for their scam activities.

All the above except the Ponzi Scheme. Bitcoin was created to stop financial institution from charging and controlling hefty sum as fee for the money that you transfer or keep with them. There is nothing new about Government Institution calling it a Ponzi scheme, while they forget they have been running such schemes for a long time.

Very well said, government has been saying that for a long time now and they just wanted to lure people into the belief that bitcoin is a ponzi scheme. Its like they wanted people not to get interest in bitcoin because maybe they’ll lose investors in their schemes if people will choose to invest in bitcoin instead.

I think bitcoin to be a global currency since it transaction is base on a peer to peer system and has no border restrictions, bitcoin is the 21st century financial revolution which is giving the traditional financial system away to a modern global payment system using the blockchain.

Government always try to defile things that may potentially work against them or even threat them, so there's nothing special about government calling btc a Ponzi scheme. It's no Ponzi, but it's manipulated ,well, like any other asset in any market, the difference is that it's less mature so more prone to be manipulated. With all that said, btc is handling a torch of cryptocurrencies and help in crypto and blockchain globalization. There will always be hundreds of thoughts, but that's okay until btc make new heights cycle after cycle and complete its primary mission to some extent.
