the reason im bring this up is because to be honest i dont know to terribly much about bitcoin yet other then you can buy sell and trade it as well as gamble with it. i found this site called cex.io listed in the marketplace/services section and joined them to be an affiliate but i wanted to see what if any other users thought about it that have had experience from using it before i promote it... i would rather not send someone to a site that i dont know too much about so please list your thoughts and if it looks good ill start promoting my referral link... and if its also good in your experience or it seems to be good and you want to sign up pm me for my referral link if you dont mind... id rather not just spam it. ok so my top 4 questions about cex.io right now are:
Does it pay(and quickly)
Does it put you through alot before your transaction completes or is it simple to buy with?
How much %tage are there fees(Over Priced or Decent+)
is it a good place to buy or does it have alot of scammers and other faults?

please feel free to leave me a heads up Cheesy
Cex.io is a Good Website to Buy and Sell Bitcoin and Already Used by Many People to Buy and Sell Bitcoins But Mostly I Use Localbitcoins.com to Buy Bitcoins Because I Feel Comfort on Localbitcoins to Buy and Sell Bitcoin and Also its Very Easy to Buy and Sell Bitcoin on Localbitcoins.

I have tried to buy bitcoins from CEX using my bank cards, they asked many identification documents along with selfie of holding ID proof and holding bank card.

But they ask only passport or driving license as identification document to approve my verification process but I am not ready to submit either of them (I submitted my national card) hence my verification process got rejected. I was not successful to buy bitcoins with them yet.

it is because they are working with credit cards and whenever there is a bank involved any kind of service that works with fiat should ask for all kinds of documentation both because they are forced by law and also to prevent fraud.

@OP if you want to know if they are legit or not, know that they are legit and have been around for a very long time.
but you should try out other sites too before choosing one place only.

Cex.io I know is legit site, before they turn into exchange site, formerly they is cloudmining site, time goes by they turn into exchange site. They do pay member formerly, I also joined.
You can see their schedule fees here https://cex.io/fee-schedule

But they ask only passport or driving license as identification document to approve my verification process but I am not ready to submit either of them (I submitted my national card) hence my verification process got rejected. I was not successful to buy bitcoins with them yet.
I just checked there there is no mention about only for passport or driving license. Did you contact their support regarding this ? I believe an ID proof could be anything but Government issued.

If you visit the site, you can find verification page direct you to guide how to verify your account, so I think it's like other centralization exchange site.
I haven't longer to use their site again.

I think its a legitimate one. Or if you are thinking twice, just wait for others reply hete. Their offer is good. They are not charging fee for everyyhing you buy in there. I just saw on a thread here. If you decided to buy there. May sure you pull out your funds there quickly. Exchange are prone from hacking incidents. Maybe its more safe if you dont store your funds there for a long time.

i have known cex.io for a very long time and i have been doing mostly cloudmining there back when it was active and profitable (before they pause it) and mostly i have learned trading there. i liked their service back then. and i have always heard they are good for buying bitcoin with credit cards.

but they have been adding some rules that i don't get the reason for and these rules keep pushing customers away one of them was the minimum trade size which they increased to 0.01BTC IIRC. and the other one is the most recent rule which is forcing people to pay money for keeping dogecoin on their site!!!

🖤😏
Was one of the first exchanges I ever registered, support was good and really helpful with fast responds, overall user friendly and easy to navigate.
However sometimes I encountered a privacy warning like when "https" turns red from green maybe because too many hacking attempts?
Though they stopped mining in cloud long time ago but still trading GH/s.
Don't know why exactly but I stopped using them few month back.

cex.io is one of the good website that pays the member for buying and selling bitcoin and altcoin but for me, i am not prefer and comfort with cex.io but i don't know why. so if you want to make trading in cex.io, i advice you to be careful because we don't know what will happen next time.
