I've seen many of these coins, especially during the first months of the year, but I've never understood what's their purpose and what determined their rise.
Can you give me more explanation about what safecoin that you have mentioned above? You can at least try to mentione CMC if there's a link that will be redirecting us to that coin. There are lots of garbage coins that used the name of safecoins. It's clear that they have been part of a general trend, but I can't remember what caused that to happen (the only theory I have is based on the general sense of insecurity and fear/panic caused by many hack attacks that happened during the first months of bull-run).
Did you mean like something related to the insurance for the hacked platform? I remember that there are some safecoins that appeared caused by that but it's not clear what safecoin in this case. You were making people randomly predicting about it.
