It has obviously not been easy trying to be of value in this forum wherebeit one has to learn the rules and in no time apply them to varying post uploads. Also, with engaging posts raking in merits, joining a campaign and earning, how does one even begin to rank up with as little as, or no experience as regard bitcoin or related crypto topics? What is expected of a newbie aspiring to learn, earn and impact with knowledge and investment?
There's no requirement for you to publish anything. The various regulations and common communication style are easy to read. I guess following the rules is really that difficult. The only things you really need to watch out for are plagiarism and spamming.
The forum is packed with a ton of different subjects where you can learn a ton about cryptocurrency.

Although its really hard to learn if you have zero knowledge but once you locate this forum for sure you will get a lot of ideas where newbies could learn something beneficial to them if they will strive to learn more on this technology. Although its hard to rake some merit to rank up but for sure once you are knowledgeable with the topic discuss plus you have humor which make people able to read your post clearly and find it relevant for sure you will get those merits which can help you to reach your target.

Also its better for newbies to forget the earnings first because pure frustration is what you can earn because you will find it more difficult to earn because you are reaching so high at the early stage so chill those out and try to learn since everything will follow after that.

Winding down.
You are rewarded by the Bitcointalk because of your knowledge and contributions. Asking how to receive merits without knowing much about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is like asking how to be a nurse without knowing anything about health.
I guess one should not expect anything from bitcoin forum if you think you are still not capable of your task. Merits will eventually happen if you have done your job well and your posts are being appreciated by your fellow posters. For now, a newbie should only expect to keep on learning from the forum, and learn from all good mentors' discussion. A newbie will definitely gain his knowledge and skills in the long run.

If you aspire to impact the forum positively and understand that this is a community of members, then you should know that your actions are personally motivated and the only guaranteed reward is impacting other members positively; ranking up and building meaningful connections come in secondary.

You do not have to pressure yourself to accomplish an idea or devote more time than you can, or cash. Just enjoy the discussions.
Everything can be learn in the forum, in the crypto market. It just takes time. Especially for a newbie who lacks knowledge and experience. So my advice is, never expect much, just enjoy the forum alone and learn from all the discussions. You will eventually start learning in the long process, start to participate good discussions in the forum, and earn a decent income in the long run. So just take your time, no need to rush.

what is expected of a newbie, first and foremost, is to have a genuine interest in cryptocurrency and  know the rules of the bitcoin forum. research about a topic before posting, no spamming or plagiarism. read others post to learn and your valued contributions will earn you merit and ranks. your contributions base on research will make the impact. invest in bitcoin and some other altcoin that have good project

Engaging post: There is no rule official or unofficial that said everyone must engage posts. If a post is made and the post helped you to learn new things, there is no crime walking away. Most people wanting to engage posts, end up entering conversations they don't have knowledge about.

Raking merits: Not everyone cares much about merits, besides there are unmerited good posts in this forum.

Joining a campaign: There are users like JayJuanGee, Philipma1957, DannyHamilton, Franky1 and others who do not wear signature but yet they earn.

You can earn my offering some services if you have the skills. This is a forum and it will be nice you see it as a forum and not an industry or a company.

Dude, why are you even worried too much about ranking up? This is a forum for crypto-related discussions/conversations. You could be "Newbie" by the forum's system, but your knowledge to crypto could be waaaay more ahead than a Legendary member.
For my expectation of "newbie" in crypto and not by the forum's ranking system would be just reading around in here and gaining knowledge in and out of the forum.

If a user is here for the "right" reasons, the "rank" shouldn't bother him too much.

First, understand that good things don't come easily, you work for it, and what is the work required of you in this forum? That's knowledge.
You need knowledge to be of value in this forum, and to acquire knowledge, you need to research and study, read and learn, you need to have knowledge of every topic of discussion here to be able to contribute meaningfully to the discussion, this is how you gain value on this forum.

Does a company employ you when you have absolutely no knowledge or experience of what they do there?, the answer is NO, so how then do you think a crypto company will hire you in a crypto forum when you have no knowledge of bitcoin/crypto?.
To rank up, first, you need merit, as well as activity.
And to get merit, you need to make valuable contributions to the forum.
Join a campaign and earning on this forum is also like the first, you  need merit, and to get merits, you need to make valuable contributions to the forum.

Knowledge is expected of you, valuable contributions through your knowledge is expected of you, and you are expected to research, learn, unlearn and learn again, you need experience to get proper knowledge.

Every civilised society have got some rules to abide by and so is bitcointalk.org. We are a community that holds its rules at high esteem and that has been the core to preservation of the forum.

You seem to have understood the steps and procedures of the forum but, I'll like to point out one truth. That the singular need to impress or make merit raking post as you call it often turns produce nothing. The forum is one that doesn't need you to be over experienced as a beginner. If you are,it's good but more than anything, they need to refine your ideas and teach to you what could be seen as thee pros and cons of cryptos. You just have to be ready to learn and improve, it would serve you better than forcing merit raking post on yourself. Asking intelligent questions can function  in that capacity of merit raking too.

God is great
Their are good members in the forum who are loaded with sound knowledge, you can take your time to search for members who fall in this categories,  learn from their old post and current post, it pays a lot. For one to impact knowledge to people, you must be surrounded to people who you can gain knowledge from or learn from them. This is another means of growing very fast, learn from others who impact.

The knowledge available now is better than it was when you first knew Bitcoin and better than the knowledge that was several years ago, now you can find everything on YouTube, with free and high quality lectures. All you have to do is stay away from investing in those scammers who ask you to invest in Altcoins.

You can start by watching aantonop – The bitcoin and open blockchain expert on YouTube ---> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJWCJCWOxBYSi5DhCieLOLQ

then you can ask here or read some bitcoin related books
The main problem when using Youtube as a good place to guide someone to get to know bitcoin better is the use of language. I don't know exactly if the OP is a native English speaker, but maybe that's the reason why some people choose reading over watching videos, and I am one of them.

Sometimes some knowledge discussed in the local language is helpful, it can also be considered by those who don't understand English well. But it is true that bitcoin knowledge is now very easy to find anywhere regardless of whether they like reading or watching videos.

how does one even begin to rank up with as little as, or no experience as regard bitcoin or related crypto topics?
Nobody started a professional or knowledgeable in crypto, some learnt about crypto outside this forum, while some others became knowledgeable when they joined this forum. As you have mentioned that you possess little experience and knowledge on bitcoins and crypto, you have to prepare yourself to learn and develop the discipline to subject yourself to reading both on and off forum materials. One thing is sure, the forum is here to keep your enthusiasm fresh, the other part is yours to play. The more you gain knowledge, the better your contributions will become and most definitely merits will follow for your input. You are in a good place to learn OP, take good advantage of it.

OP, you are not obliged to make any posts if you really want to learn something to increase your knowledge about crypto. Knowledge just depends on how much you want to learn and keep your consistency to keep reading and reading. In fact, someone who is knowledgeable sometimes does not talk much but prefers to act and that is a positive impact of learning outcomes.

In forums, you can contribute and share knowledge with hundreds to thousands of other users. That's great for you and will probably make you better at interacting and understanding anything that might not have been right before. But in general, everything will depend only on you and your interests.

What i meant by investments is this; input that will yield profitable results like, creating and hosting games that offer real reward, hosting competitions that require one to use natural abilities or talents, also supporting or sponsoring other campaigns, posting of ads on other platforms that can increase audience awareness and participation. This of course requires both time and cash investments. I dont know if i sound out of place, but i am here to learning and growing. Thanks for the positive feedback however.

It's really that hard to understand the rules, huh? Actually you're only need to not plagiarize and not become a spammer, I believe you're already pretty good with the forum rules. You don't need to create many posts, since you're a newbie then you need to read more than comment. Not mean to forbid you to discuss whenever you like with the subject, but I believe reading other users posts is better than join into the discussion.

It has obviously not been easy trying to be of value in this forum wherebeit one has to learn the rules and in no time apply them to varying post uploads.
You are under no obligation to actually make a post. You can comfortably read through the different rules and general mode of communication around the forum and actually post when you want. You can even read through the forum as a guest without registering on the forum.
Any pressure is one you put on yourself, probably cause of how you were introduced to the forum.

Also, with engaging posts raking in merits, joining a campaign and earning, how does one even begin to rank up with as little as, or no experience as regard bitcoin or related crypto topics?
You are getting the stages mixed up again: You first learn, build experience, ask questions and learn some more, only then can you consider ranking up and earning. Those are secondary benefits of the forum.

What is expected of a newbie aspiring to learn, earn and impact with knowledge and investment?
You said it yourself; learn, find something that interests you and learn some more on that, then you can impact with knowledge.
What do you mean investments??

It has obviously not been easy trying to be of value in this forum wherebeit one has to learn the rules and in no time apply them to varying post uploads.

Rules (which are unofficial) are not something that is difficult to apply to your daily behavior on the forum, because for someone who behaves morally in life, it will be very easy to adapt to the behavior on the forum. Let's take the example of plagiarism that is common on the forum, so let's say that someone who doesn't appropriate other people's merits or things in real life won't do it on the forum either - everyone can act to some extent, but you can never escape what you really are. Also, the rules about death threats or phishing/malware links are something you don't need to learn unless you're a really bad person in real life.

Also, with engaging posts raking in merits, joining a campaign and earning, how does one even begin to rank up with as little as, or no experience as regard bitcoin or related crypto topics? What is expected of a newbie aspiring to learn, earn and impact with knowledge and investment?

If I tell you that I joined the first paid signature campaign only when I became a Full Member, will it mean anything to you? It takes time for you to learn something and be able to progress, therefore it is completely unnecessary to put pressure on yourself when it comes to merits or signature campaigns. All you need is time and determination, there is no magic formula.

Farewell o_e_l_e_o
Your post contains all things you should do
  • Lack of knowledge: Let's learn (daily)
  • Lack of experience: Let's experience in crypto (with wallets, exchanges, security) and time will help you to increase your experience
  • Learn (by reading, mostly), experience, learn, repeat it in a cycle. After 6 months, you will become another member (more valuable) in the forum. Merit will find you naturally, and you will rank up naturally
