Just disconnect your peers for the time you don't want to download.
And anyway, upgrade in case you use an old version, the latest release is fast as hell to sychronize the blockchain.

Looking for anything that's somewhat related to bitcoin for android. Could be anything from a news app to wallet to an exchange, doesnt matter , any and all suggestions welcome.
