Last August I think a nice altcoin is a Neo and EOS also. even to this day I feel both are still very potential. and I am sure will have a good future. then I also still hodl until today.
Now I do not see the best coins, because of the state of the market. Many either fell or stay in the same price approximately. But no growth not shows no one. We will wait for the end of the year
Stellar? Even all other token price fall down to the deep stellar still on the top? With many big update coming I believe Stellar is the best coin of this years. but for this month I don't know.

For august, I believe the maximum announcements, updates, etc were over ICON (ICX), but now its September and the latest news is smart contracts are enabled on WAVES and thats one big news, I hope a lot much potential on Waves in the current trend.

I think these coins DEX, IOTA, Waves are better perspective and the growing the price. I hope its price will be grow more in these next few months.

Cryptassist (CTA) had a good ICO which ended in August and it seems to be a good project. We have to waif till it gets listed later this month.

In my opinion, Cardano is great coin to buy in August. it is a member of the new generation of cryptocurrency, coming in after Bitcoin and Ethereum in the crypto-evolution cycle. It has a great potential.

I often watch Suppoman on YouTube and he named the best coins of this month (Ontology, Fusion, NEO, and so on). I would add to this list Wanchain and EOS
At the moment every coin is available.at very cheap price and we still do not know if this is the ultimate bottom or not but i will still pick some solid coins from these prices, secondly some recent icos that have good projects are also way down and it is good opportunity to accumulate them for huge profit in next bull season, some of them are foxt, xyo network and localcoinswap, brickblock is also good.
I didn't see many good coins this month. In fact, this month all crypto have experienced a decline and that makes all holders have to be patient waiting longer because the price is not appropriate.

You cannot really ask a question like this 'cause the cryptomarket is really unpredictable. A coin that is worth nothing today can 10x or more tomorrow with now real reason. And a coin that has held its value just drops like 60% with no valid reason.
