For honesty and trust worthiness there is only 1. That would be Atomic-Trade. If you like being fleeced by the owners bots, then pick any other exchange.
I use mostly Mintpal and Poloniex. They have the hot coins.

I know Cryptsy has the best volume, but I've heard it has a lot of issues. Prelude seems pretty reliable, but it has such low volume.
