What are the biggest mistakes made by beginners in online gambling? How can they be avoided?
I still think that neglecting privacy is the worst thing a beginner can do at casinos or any other online service platforms. In my opinion, this is more dangerous than those mistakes that lead to the loss of assets, regardless of their value.
When I say “the privacy aspect”, I mean all the data that the user shares with the platform, starting from the step of registering on the platform, through the account authentication procedures (KYC), till the withdrawals. All of this data may threaten the security and privacy of the user if it is neglected by the user himself or misused by the platform.
In my opinion, the best way to preserve this data is to well choose the platform, which I consider to be the most important and most difficult step as well. This remains insufficient, because the user must share his data with caution, no matter how reliable the platform is, especially if he does not have mechanisms for legal tracking in the incident of privacy terms violations.
Personally, i always advise beginners to use decentralized casinos until they have sufficient experience dealing with centralized platforms. Also, never neglect the data that the browser shares with the site (couckies,IP...) because they are no less important than personal data (name, residential address, bank card information...).
