Problems exist in every country irrespective of developing or developed nations but where the developing small nations struggle is to fund the projects they they're planning and it gets worse with inflation, geopolitical issues, elections and many other things. It is very important for developing countries to have healthy relationship with countries to form strong allies in the international arena but yes they have compromise lot of things and your resources might be exploited as well which has to be beared or has to make an enemy that supported you and stronger than you in all the ways.

The present era is the era of globalization, the era of development, the era of modernity. At such a time, the world is moving forward at a fast pace. Just as there were advantages in the beginning of the world, there were also disadvantages, and in the present modern era, there are some advantages and some disadvantages. In other words, everything has advantages and disadvantages.
Similarly, developed countries do not have all the difficulties that developing countries suffer from. But developed countries also have some difficulties or challenges which are this form of climate protection problem, i.e. it is a very challenging issue to control how developed countries have poisoned the global climate through the use of advanced technology.
Eradicating corruption in developed countries is a challenge. Debt-freeing developed countries is another difficult challenge. Another major challenging issue in developed countries is the election problem.
When a country is developed, the financial aspect does not have much influence but other factors influence such as the apartheid problem which is very challenging to eradicate. Every country has its own culture and civilization to develop which are very much under development. So sustaining civilization and culture becomes a big challenge.

I guess individualism.

People who live in developing nations usually have friendlier people, willing to help a stranger, and don't mind to sacrifice a thing for someone.

But people who live in developed nations are opposites than that, the challenge in developed nations is the government really hard to control them, so the government has no way except let them to do what they want.

The countries are filled with corruption above all the challenge of corruption and good governance should be kept in mind. Strong stance against corruption and irregularities should be ensured at all levels of society. The challenge for developed countries is that as part of this plan oil prices will be aligned with the world market. Encourage expatriates to send remittances. Providing incentives increasing reserves solving the dollar crisis stopping irregularities in bank loans improving the quality of life and keeping the prices of daily commodities within reach.

I think in richer countries, they still deal with stuff like rich-poor gaps, access to good healthcare and housing and figuring out how to handle new tech. They've got their own set of problems like dealing with climate change and making sure everyone benefits from the global economy. It's not always front-page news but it's there
Could've been easily solved if they've implemented some form of Universal Healthcare and Universal Income, there have tests about this before especially the Universal income and the results are fantastic because one keynote on why it works is the people that are on this welfare, didn't quit their jobs which some of the people that are against this are saying will happen, it instead created a buffer to help this people live a better life and have more general happiness than those of the same state of life but with no universal income, I think that developed countries should start considering doing this because there's definitely lots of taxation in there and it's not a bad idea that those excess tax would benefit the people that are paying them. It's a domino effect in my opinion, when you help your people that are on the or below the poverty line, you'd be able to make more people in the country more prosperous and with more prosperity means more taxes and budget for the country thus creating a bigger economy, I mean that's the simplication of solving the problem that you've presented.

No developed countries could escape from any of the above mentioned Op, The only thing there is that the situation managed that it doesn't linger to exceed and to cause public panicks.
All systems of government in every country is corrupt rather the developed countries perspectives are not being so obvious and disasterous like the undeveloped countries.

Developed nations face a range of challenges despite their advanced status. Economic inequality persists with disparities in income & wealth distribution. Environmental concerns like climate change & pollution cause significant threats. Aging populations & declining birth rates impact healthcare & pension systems. Technological advancements lead to job losses & the need for continuous upskilling. Social issues like discrimination, mental health & even access to education & healthcare also persist. Maintaining political stability, addressing corruption & managing international relations are ongoing challenges for developed nations.

Those developed countries do have challenges of high crime rate. This is because they are more exposed to guns, which is more on the street, also with drugs. However, no country is free from corruption, because corruption is something that you see pleasing to you as a corrupt leader who is greedy, and only care about himself, and his family.

Lack of freedom from the government, because everything, and data about every individual is in record. This gives the government power to control the citizens financial life, because whatever you say, they government might get you killed or freeze your account to make sure  that they have control over your life. Oppression from the government on the citizens is what all countries developed and underdeveloped are facing.

Every nation has its own set of challenges and to name a few though it will have all the facilities but accomodation would be really costly and same goes with food. Inflation i also one of the biggest challenge and I would like to quote example of Dubai, UAE as UAE is one of the developed nation but it's still dependent on imports for most of its food related requirements, you are have countries like Japan which has ageing population and people were once so focussed on work now they have skipped the parenthood. Every country will have one or the other issues be it developed or under developed or war ravaged nation.

This topic seems more suited for the economic section rather than the "help & beginners" category.  section, TBH this topic belongs to the economic section because from the title and from the latest comments on the discussion I've realized there's everything to discuss is for the inflation-like challenges.

Inflation is not a big deal for developed countries I think the topic that should be discussed more efficiently is the challenges for undeveloped countries where the discussion can cover a broad number of challenges and perspectives because for developed countries the standard of life is not a big deal and for the undeveloped countries even the living standard is a challenge and inflation a far crisis. Haha, race is still a challenge I've come to know after reading a few posts here on this topic.

In my opinion, promoting education in underdeveloped countries is crucial. By doing so, we can empower individuals to improve their living standards and access basic necessities like food. I'm mentioning this seemingly unrelated topic here because it's important to highlight the concerns of people in underprivileged regions. While discussions often focus on challenges faced by those already enjoying a good standard of living, we mustn't forget that many people in underdeveloped countries lack access to even the most basic necessities of life.

Developed countries also face high inflation that is happening all over the world, but undeveloped countries are the ones that is experiencing the major aspect of the inflation because they don't have those officials that is monitoring all the production sectors which are very common in the developed countries.

I guess developed countries also experience delay in Justice in their various court which is the major challenge that is affecting those that have all the evidence required from the judge of the court but giving them the actual date to give the  final judgement in that case is another challenges that is dealing with many people in the developed countries.

When I observe some developed countries carefully citizens intend to suffer from racism, although this is just common but with this discrimination it can lead to conflict, secondly the covid 19 pandemic that lead to the death of different citizens all over the world. You can view these countries as developed countries but they still have different challenges to handle.

Quite alright that those who are known as developed still preach hate among the people and discriminate with colour of different parts of the body. Looking deeper actually, it should be a strong debate on how only infrastructure, technology and institutions are used as measure for a developing and developed countries while same institution commit racism against members of the same country or those who live there.

You have really woken a strong debate to this extent of racism because some countries are well developed in terms of economic achievements but they are quite discriminatory among people. A country that is developed should treat every other person with dignity and acceptance no matter their skin colour, hair, structure of nose and other discriminatory factors that they use to make other people feel less of themselves. How can a country be classified as the developed countries while they class other people in a manner that they differentiates them in degrading and dehumanising form.

This problem has the easiest solution and it should be at its root where they need a just leader who will gonna improve their nation slowly but has high aspirations to do it so well just like the just leaders in the past. Where they managed to develop their countries with the help of their people of course. When the people see that their leaders are good and strictly prohibit any misbehaviors by those below them, they quickly follow his orders and easily make the people happy to serve him as well. Our country was about to change if only there were no more elections but it is sad that after our former president has done with his terms, the criminals are back on their actions in every corner of the country.

What's the major challenge that developed countries face?

Every countries be it developed or underdeveloped has its own serious challenges they are facing and seeking for means of dealing and handling those challenges, we just happened to have ours in our respective sizes of how we could manage around with them, civilization also has a lot that we could say are detriment to the human benefits in some certain aspects, but when the people come together in understanding of all these advantages that comes with them, we will see that even the underdeveloped countries are seeking development

as developed nations increase their economic status, along with it is the increase of cost of living. yes, the currency’s value is high but the prices are still expensive which still makes it hard for its citizens to live a better life.
overpopulation might be also an issue and lack of housing. with so many people moving into the country thinking that life would treat them better there, there would not be enough resources to accommodate everyone.

debts could also serve as a main problem for these developed countries…. they were able to improve the country yes but now the country is deep in debt

In developed countries most of the problems one can find seem to be of social nature, you know. They have got much to do with the way society works and how several groups of people live together very close to each other. Even though, we could agree the economy of those countries are pretty much strong, the distribution of wealth and the abuse of illegal drugs lead people to commit mistakes which make them end up in homelessness or suffering from incapacities.
Do not get fooled by you see on television, those wealthy countries indeed have problems which they have not been able to solve yet, but in comparison to the problems in the developing world, those seems to be minor, so it is unlikely you will ever see them in the news.
For example, when people think of Miami, they only picture beaches and lovely restaurants by the coast (because that is what popular culture has taught us about that city), however, there is an important percentage of poverty in that city, away from those touristic places everyone knows about...

What's the major challenge that developed countries face?
Usually, it is the corruption that's rampant in those countries. They lack of leaders that have political will and has a genuine heart to serve the people and make the country better. These leaders are only for their own sake and keeping money through their pockets while they're on the seat and position. And after leaving or when they're done with their term, you'll usually see them living a fancy life and that's what they've prepared for and don't want to leave a legacy. But those that have pure intentions to make their country better and great, they're doing everything they can with their pure heart to help their country in a better state.

Do we have similar issues I mentioned above as part of thier problem or is it that the are going through these challenge but choose not to make it known to the public ?
There are no secrets anymore. As you can see, with number one problem of them which is the poverty and that's due to the incompetent leaders that people keeps on voting and electing. There's no solution for that but for the people to realize that they need to see the real leaders that has purest heart into serving them and not the people serving these leaders.

What's the major challenge that developed countries face?

I have heard many people say that the challenge of third world countries is leadership and I also agree to that . Leadership is challenge and it is the road to getting things right. The election for instance is in fact where the "selection " that is wrongly called election come. The bad leaders know that if they lose election then their bad deeds will be exposed, so they would do anything to retain the seat or to replace themselves with someone like him in the case of if he has finished his tenure. So once a bad leadership is installed then you can be sure that the government won't move the country forward.

A bad leadership is a nightmare to the economy of a country because they will have no focus to sail the ship unto the right part to anchor it in a good standing for another person to take over. So embezzlement and corruption are usually the order of the day in countries with no good leadership and every other thing happen because leadership is bad, "when the head is rotten, what can the neck do" ?  Grin

Yeah, I get that it is simple to read the news and see stuff about voting or sanctions in developed countries, but they got their own big issues too, just not the same kinds.   I mean take the growing gap between the rich and poor, climate change messing stuff up more every year, populations getting older...  and things like that.

So Id say while the specific issues might not be exactly the same there is still very real challenges these countries have to figure out.  The world is complicated, and every place has its own unique situation happening.

Recently thier have been lots of issues going on in most developing countries ranging from poverty, insecurity, bad govermence, poor power systems, bad road network, faulty justice system, drop in the value of most of their currency, poor educational systems and lots more. But most times the only serious news that seems like the problem of most developed country is always some minor tension during an election or a form of threat or sanction by another world power which become resolved within some space of time and it gets me asking  the question;

What's the major challenge that developed countries face?

Do we have similar issues I mentioned above as part of thier problem or is it that the are going through these challenge but choose not to make it known to the public ?
