only two things: technology and money.

as far as technology goes it is only bitcoin that has it and is performing well as it should and all the things that this technology offers such as privacy, security and decentralization,... and as for altcoins they are more like nice ideas rather than applicable ones.
as far as money goes i consider myself to be an early adopter of bitcoin and that means a lot of profit as bitcoin has a long way to go up still.

The excitement with getting involved with cryptos for me is only when the involvement is ensuring you're getting paid. If you are constantly losing money, then I doubt there will be any excitement of any kind. The more money you make, the more exciting it becomes.

Cryptocurrency enables you to be your own bank, storing and sending value from one place to another
across the globe  and doing  all this independently from  any institution. It is an easy, safe and trackable way of  financial
transactions which can involve those people around the world who are still not part of the banking system.
There are more than 2 billions such people who have never had a bank account and the importance of include   them to the
economy is speaking for itself. I am excited to be part of this new tech. revolution.

I don't know the excitement that comes with it, but the fact that money is to be made. Getting involved in cryptos is like a business for many and if you aren't making money from, then there's no excitement.

According to me a cryptocurrency is a medium of exchange like normal currencies such as USD, but designed for the purpose of exchanging digital information. Cryptocurrency is defined by Investopedia.com as a decentralized “digital or virtual currency that uses cryptography for security” making it difficult to counterfeit. Since it is not issued by a central authority, governments can’t take it away from you Over the last couple of years, digital currency has been rapidly gaining the public eye.
When cryptocurrency is created, all confirmed transactions are stored in a public ledger. All identities of coin owners are encrypted to ensure the legitimacy of record keeping. Because the currency is decentralized, you own it. Neither government nor bank has any control over it.
