There's no need to be upset
~ Probably, you may look for a casino which is not accepting any kind of fiats including different payment processors. Because, when a casino handles fiat then it may start enforcing us to clear KYC at any time and most gamblers still hate it.

If the casino is in the jurisdiction of the countries whose laws regulate cryptocurrencies, they also at any time may require their customers to pass the KYC, even if there is no such requirement when registering an account. That's why you should be more careful when choosing a casino and be ready to provide your personal information at the first request.

or you can opt to gamble only on casinos that have no KYC or descentralized ones
i'm surprised we don't have more of this kind of application running on ethereum and sidechains these days

I know there are more mainstream poker sites that use bitcoin in addition to other methods, but I'm wondering if there are any more bitcoin-only sites that I've missed.
No, there would be very thin possibilities for bitcoin-only gambling sites to be existing. I mean not just poker gambling offering site, but in general with all types of gambling also, we cannot find a services to be accepting only bitcoins as these days altcoins have become a prominent options in gambling industry. I am sorry, I could not recall a gambling site which is accepting only bitcoins and offering poker.

Many countries in the world do not accept cryptocurrencies so they prefer casinos through fiat while play money poker is definitely a different game than real money pairing if you've done well in free games, you've probably got all the skills you need to do well in the real thing. In fact you can get even more success as a play money poker unexpected as it really means players can't lose their chips and is quite predictable by taking pretty ridiculous steps for it and many more exploitative real money games.

Poker in my country usually use real site and not support deposit using bitcoin or altcoin, maybe have an easy way to convert and take deposit or withdraw faster by using fiat than crypto. Maybe looks interesting when using with cryptocurrency and bitcoin now raise higher price but how to calculated about profit and loss there.
In which country you are living? there really are countries that don't support cryptocurrencies and much worse is that they don't support both, online gambling and cryptocurrencies. But you're still in good condition in that country for allowing online casinos to operate and it's totally good even if they only accept fiat because that's what the casino prefers.

Stake still be my site for gambling and playing poker there because easy to access and keep safety for using now.
Stake for poker? CMIIW, I've hovered onto them and they don't have it.

Other major casinos have to invest in poker rooms and make gambler aware they are investing a lot here.Their ROI will be blazing fast as a lot of people nowadays prefer skill games compared to luck ones.I want to see this list go up to number 20 at least.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Poker is not a very profitable game for casinos, both live and online, so I don't see why you say they have to invest. Because you would like there to be more offer, I guess. But casinos look for what is most profitable for them, not what you would like. Aside from that, the poker market has been shrinking for years. It experienced a boom in 2003 and had its period of expansion, but I would say that from black friday in 2011 and the massive regulations began a period of contraction that continues to this day. This is another reason for casinos not to invest in poker. Why invest in something that has less and less customers?

Well the truth is the first time that I see that there may be the possibility of investing in a poker site, although I think they have been a bit confused, because every time a deposit is made in a place to play it is not a guarantee of It should be seen as an investment, however I agree with you, when playing poker at stake.com they give a good guarantee of play, in addition to the fact that the strategy you have to play gives good results. There are also other sites that are reliable, however one always looks for the safe, although for me I have always liked poker in PVP mode, I think that the chances of winning increase much more.

Don't Get Involved
Well, in the meanwhile there has been come up some bitcoin-only poker sites, but really popular is no one of those as far as I know.
I am a passionate poker player (online and offline) and I have been playing for years on sites like pokerstars etc. When I looked up for a crypto-only poker rooms and tried some, I was almost always disappointed. The only site I found halfway good was blockchain.poker.

Totally agree with you. SwC is already dead (omae wa mou shindeiru, SwC, he he) and there is no any good crypto poker site in a whole crypto space. Some poker rooms in places like Sportsbet is pretty lame without needed amount of players.
So we still playing with cash  Sad
What about now, do you any source which one site most popular bitcoin-only poker? I am looking not any good site and safety for playing because many site look not safety, with not using https site with his domain, I check last previous site have many complaint about their withdrawing delay but is not realistic to mention the project name. I think need new site with safety when deposit btc or altcoin and could play easy on poker based on cryptocurrency.

Bringing the Game Back to Players Decentralized Poker Powered by Cryptocurrency - https://coinpoker.com/

I was active there when they started, but after a while, I lost passion and I just quit playing there! At that time I thought this can be the next big thing... decentralized poker, their own coin, but looks like people didn't like it a lot! Even now after years, not many people know about them, so I can only guess they didn't do a good marketing plan!

Anyone plays here, are they worth trying them again or not?

They had a lot of bad reviews and unhappy players a couple of years back but still operating today. They never outright stole player funds but shady behavior indeed. You find several threads about them on different poker forums where players had a hard time getting withdrawals.
Would stay away for sure. Not difficult to find much better alternatives

I didn't play poker for a while... I am short on time and the places I know are not so interesting anymore! There are moments when I would like to play few hands or some tournament, and I start thinking about where to play and I just quit... in one of those moments I remembered Coin Poker and I was thinking to give it a try, that didn't happen, and after your words that will probably never happen! Thanks for the heads up!

I don't know. The marketing tactic or allure of physical casinos can't really be compared to online casinos. With physical casinos, you are using more of your senses. Its not just typing/clicking on your keyboard but so in some physical casinos you can see and touch your winnings.

It makes a big difference, psychologically. Its like that psychological thing where you spend more money online than you would if you had the physical cash in your hands. It just feels less real therefore, worth less.

Online casino born because of the pandemic and this is just a way for every casino establishments to continue the operation of their business despite of the restrictions for minimum health protocol. It's true that there's a big difference between gambling inside a casino premises than gambling online but at some point these kind of gambling activities made online delighted every gamblers because they can still gamble even inside their home. However, in another country restrictions are already lifted and other gambling business were back to operation.

well, the thing is online casinos could comply to regulations by restricting IP or something like that but people would be able to bypass that using a VPN
much harder to regulate online casinos than real life ones where you can check IDs, even though these can also be faked and people will find a way, there are differences.

A Bitcoiner chooses. A slave obeys.
I can't believe that there are people who really play online casinos.

There's a huge number of online casino players, especially during this pandemic where there are restrictions and gamblers couldn't go to physical casinos. It might not sound as loud as the traditional casinos but online casinos are actually providing convenience for most players. We're now in the modern days where we could find everything online.

1. SwC Poker
2. Nitrogen Sports
The two Bitcoin poker sites that you see are both the best and are often used by gambling addicts, SwC Poker also offers various types of poker that you can play, one of them: 8s, hold'em, PL Big O, Badeucy, OFC, Big O/8 and of course many others, to get you excited about poker betting.

But you have to control yourself when making poker bets at SWC, if you don't control, you can be sure your chip can be empty without realizing it, in SWC, most people are too relaxed and ambitious to make bets, because there are too many types of games, so if you choose a poker gambling site SwC Poker and Nitrogen Sports, try to be professional and aware, it's gambling.

In general I would advice against playing poker on a unregulated site. Unless you play for pennies and fine with the possibility of being cheated by other players.

Big sites like Pokerstars, I-poker and GGPoker spend a lot of resources on keeping the games fair and free from bots.
If you play on a site that doesn't require KYC the chances are much higher of running into collusion or other forms of cheating. Its not enough to just trust the site, like in sportsbetting and casino, but you also have to trust that they have a good team that spend a lot of effort and resources to pick out the bad apples. Which is something I do not think they have.

Well so far I still use it and sometimes often play at Swc Poker which is much more fun. There are many choices for playing Poker, but for me to play Bitcoin poker, I still use the two sites above. Oh, I also played at Grand Poker but the ROI level was still inferior to Swc Poker which was the favorite.
^ Before I saw someone hosted a tournament in Swc Poker room here in the forum but now I don't see maybe they have been stopped already.
Playing poker online is really have fun, it is totally different from the physical casino. You cant even bluff your opponent for the chances of winning, the best with poker is on the player-to-player not against on the house edge. You can apply your skills here and you guessing power just to increase your chances of winning. Swc poker room is quite a good thou.

So what's the problem with online casinos if we've been playing at online casinos for a number of years? do you only visit physical casinos? It's impossible if you don't know the online casino at all. Or it's unfortunate how you view online casinos as mere forms of gambling. We are looking for more fun.
But if you really haven't, don't give it a try if you don't want to be addicted and can't control your emotions. Usually people who are not familiar with online casinos are much more curious.

I can't believe that there are people who really play online casinos.
If you don't believe and really don't know it, that online gambling is now popular even though online gambling has been around for a long time and you don't realize it, have you just been born into the world so you really don't know?
Especially during the pandemic, online gambling is an alternative choice for physical gambling lovers because physical gambling is closed during the pandemic and besides that various advertisements and gambling sites have been circulating everywhere and also on social media that offer bets using crypto and fiat.
Online gambling is the most popular form of gambling at the moment as the covid 19 pandemic has forced people to stay at home and maintaining social distances, And poker games happened to be the most preferable choice of many players since it requires less skills to play.

One of the most popular and played bitcoin poker site is SwC Poker. It was established on the year 2012 and it was the first one to be the site of bitcoin only poker. Hence, we can technically say that it was the founder of bitcoin poker concept that is used nowadays in different sites. However, the disadvantage of swc is that it has no official license but it redeems itself with the payout, software, and game variations.

Being a bitcoin-only poker means it only accepts bitcoin and you can only withdraw bitcoin from winning. The moment you deposit bitcoin, they will exchange/convert it to chips in which you can use to play on the site. The rake is up to 50% and it's a pretty decent percentage because it also accumulates as you collect Krill in the game. There are other bitcoin-only sites out there but so far this is one of the most popular. I would love to know other sites which has a good rake system and traffic.

I agree, that until now I still couldn't find a poker gambling place with a high enough ROI like Swc poker. I've been using Swc for a long time and haven't had any issues with gambling, both when I'm betting my Bitcoins and even when I'm making withdrawals. That's pretty good a recommendation for anyone who wants to play Poker.

Even now, many people has more involved or drawn with online casinos during this pandemic because of the lockdown they can't go to casinos personally. Data shows that more people has been gambling into online casinos since the pandemic to relieve stress or because of boredom of just staying at home.

In addition to your post, even before the pandemic there are already online casinos that has been established and making money legitimately.

Hi
I do think all the Bitcoin only poker site that are existing are already mentioned here by everyone but there is a new noteworthy competition, which might come from ConsenSys backed poker platform which instead of Bitcoins would be using other cryptocurrencies like Etherum.
They have already secured a lot of investment as well. According to the site, apparently 5 million for the virtual platform. They will have virtue poker being set up which was originally launched in 2016 but only getting bigger right now. ( Apparently it launched on a bigger basis in May 2021) { this was the news 6 months back https://cointelegraph.com/news/consensys-backed-poker-platform-secures-5m-investment/amp}
It's in the market but I have not seen much hype about that right now as well. Have anyone used it ? Well I do believe if you are unable to look for a good Bitcoin based poker website, you can try virtue poker as well.

No need to look further than SwC in my opinion.

They are generally considered to be the best poker room when it comes to crypto deposits and withdrawals. Solid track record.

If you do go with others you are probably going to find a lack of actual players and/or issues that have sprung up in the past.
Aside from the lack of fundamental players. The first number one thing every gambler must make her priority is the reputation and honesty of the gambling site she wants to use which will guarantee that her winning to pay whenever she requested for withdrawing.
We do all matters with legitimacy and since we are talking against with other players then this wont be an issue about fairness or something. The most common site we do prefer specially in Poker is most SwC would be the place.

Its been here on this market for a while and they had attained that reputation which had built out with time.Nitro isnt really that also a bad choice but due to some service issue
then i had long time turned my back on this one.

Some sites been mentioned above but i dont actually have the experience on playing into those places.
Yes, you are right but I was talking about things like service issues and the poker site fulfilling their terms and conditions which are the time to be the top priority of every gambler. However, I know we very well, their service, etc. Besides, I'm among those that work for them before on this forum.

Glad you brought up this thread, as I've been meaning to look around for a better Poker site for some time now.  Right now I am using Bovada's poker site, and it's quite annoying as you are forced to download a separate program all together which is just for playing poker...so time so switch to someone else, this list helps.

I've been looking for a popular bitcoin-only poker sites too, though I could find it through internet but I do have a lot of confidence to visit those sites if it was recommended by other members here in forum. SO far, since I've read this thread I also tried to open Bovada's poker and it's quite interesting because this site is made available on the GO through mobile the poker app is smooth, clear and provides the necessary functions without any lags or delays.

What is the reason why you are looking for poker site that only accept Bitcoin as a deposit and withdrawal option. Any poker site that operate that way has limited it self from getting more customers who do not have access to Bitcoin in their own country. I believe poker sites that accept more currency stand a chance of getting more players and in doing that they will get more profit in return.

Nothing beats with https://swcpoker.eu/ when it comes to poker imho. yet this is the only place where I do recognized to play and had already been trusted by the crypto community.

I would suggest this too, I've been playing a poker lately and this is a good poker site that only uses Bitcoin. There's a lot of rooms and players and even if I'm broke I can still play poker games since some rooms only place small bets, registration is fee, no KYC, fast deposit and withdrawal and isa Bitcoin-only poker site. Nothing can really beat that.

Well, online casinos have been existing even before cryptocurrencies came. There are many of them that have been existing even until today but most of the new gamblers today are not on it because using crypto are easier than online fiat based casinos.

For this, there may be some poker sites that can be relied on, especially those that accept BTC and seem worthy to be used. SwC Poker and Nitrogen Sports are good sites, moreover, it is available worldwide.  There are actually still several sites that support using BTC, but it probably doesn't cover all countries in the worldwide.

Well, however, it's actually not only about deposit and withdrawal methods that you have to think about besides its trust tot he sites.
There are several things to be considered such as:
- Bonus
- Minimal & maximal amount of withdrawal and deposit
- Country availability
- Speed of process

Maybe you can check the list of poker sites on this link to find out about each of the reviews:
1. https://www.cardschat.com/deposit/bitcoin/
2. https://professionalrakeback.com/what-online-poker-sites-accept-bitcoin

From these sources, there are several things that can be recommended:
1. BETONLINE
2. Ignition Poker
3. Grand Poker
4. Juicy Stakes
5. Blockchain Poker

At least, they have their own positive and negative reviews. We need to do more research on it.

I have seen some other sites too but they haven't prove out themselves. So I wont tend to risk on make a deposit.
https://coinpoker.com/
https://realpoker.net/

Im not affiliated with these sites.Just #DYOR.

but if youre interested generally in poker neither if on fiat then you can visit this out for more info: https://poker.com/

guess who's back
SWC is the best pure bitcoin poker site now , nitrogen was kinda good in the past but many complaints happened regarding their poker and I never checked the site after

for poker in general right now ggpoker network seems the best as I'm seeing in the news and their traffic is insane , there was ann here for a bitcoin skin called 7xl and they said there won't be KYC ever but I haven't tried the site and I haven't checked the reviews as well
might worth digging if you are serious about poker cause it's really hard to play only in bitcoin sites ( your coins will be converted to fiat after deposit tho )

I only know Swc poker, it is a bitcoin only based platform. About nitrogen sports I didn't heard of it, most of the poker offering sites here are not just bitcoin based some I think are live casinos I'm not quite sure but I was wondering too if there are some websites out there but sure they're not that popular since we should know it if it's quite popular.

I think this has been discussed before
thats also on my head . i did back read the threads and we are right > https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/good-bitcoin-poker-sites-5169718  . there is really a simillar thread to this but this one we have here is more formal and can provide extra infos than on the other which only ask for sites .

but nevertheless it is still a good thread and the reason is we all know SwcPoker but we miss competition here.Other major casinos have to invest in poker rooms and make gambler aware they are investing a lot here.Their ROI will be blazing fast as a lot of people nowadays prefer skill games compared to luck ones.I want to see this list go up to number 20 at least.
like i said earlier . this thread was better but not because of there is a swcpoker listed on here .  how can you say swcpoker is good when you also said that swcpoker lacks of something ?  swcpoker is still popular , that can be the reason why they didnt make such promotion .

Do you mean this nitrogen sports https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=88706??

Hmmmmmm. So far only few Bitcoin only poker site available and if there still more, they will surely accept other currency in the future. But you can add on your list the https://roundercasino.com, They only accept BTC currency but they already announced that they will add litecoin and dogecoin soon so I don't know if it's still worth it to add on your list knowing that it will update soon.  Cheesy

Yes that's the one.

And thank you, wasn't aware of Rounder Casino. Looks very new. What software are they using?

No doubt that Swc Poker is the most popular and I also think they have the most bitcoin poker players. There are other poker sites that I've seen but as I look into their table.

I've found zero players and I don't think I'll mention them here.

I've been building a list of the busiest poker sites that are bitcoin-only (i.e. they only accept bitcoin as a deposit and withdrawal method and nothing else). The top two I've found so far are:

1. SwC Poker
2. Nitrogen Sports

Are there any others that are seriously worth playing at? I've written a bitcoin poker guide (https://www.thepokerbank.com/bitcoin/) and I'd like to list the busiest (and most reliable) rooms available. I thought the two above were particularly good, although the traffic at Nitrogen wasn't as high as I hoped. SwC was very playable though.

I've heard of Blockchain Poker, but their default option is Bitcoin Cash and that's not something I personally use. There's also Coin Poker, but it looks like they're using their own CHP token and I'm not sure about it.

Are there any others? I know there are more mainstream poker sites that use bitcoin in addition to other methods, but I'm wondering if there are any more bitcoin-only sites that I've missed.

Thanks in advance.
