You could run some VPS nodes to make more crypto of your choice as a passive income stream, sell these coins and buy other coins with the proceeds.
I've converted a lot of my original BTC to these kinds of coins and am getting good returns so far, while still retaining the collateral. There is a risk if there's an ALT selloff that everything becomes worth less than before in BTC terms. But you can sell the proceeds regularly as a sort of cost averaging and end up with a lot of BTC.
