As we will most likely continue to see bear market for this year, what are you stacking up on and why? I would love to know so I can see what people are interested and there reasoning for it.
Smiley.
Im stacking up on bitcoin and some few altcoins such as avalanche, fantom and this new evm evmos. I love staking and farming and I am keep staking on those projects.

On fantom there are good farming projects like spiritswap with tons of pairing and even rewards for voting. Evmos has a good daily rewards and avalanche a normal L1 with a lot of improvements such as subnets. There are other choices but it will depend on what you like.
Something keeps telling me to add this Evmos to my crypto bag for 2025 but I just have some good altcoins I am looking into like Canto and Cypherium, there are many others that are so promising like GNS < Gains Network and GMX. These coins will do very well in coming bull market, oh that reminds me of Aleph Zero too.

It’s a good idea to have a balances portfolio so that’s what I try my best to do. I’m literally 80% bitcoin, I have a pile of fiat for black swan type capitulations ready bur I do have some ETH, SHIB, DOGE, ADA plus various small positions in proper shitcoins.

I don’t think it’s a good idea to be too deep in one coin only but if you have to do that then make sure it’s bitcoin or ETH. Too risky to ape into real shitcoins.

It's best to accumulate more Bitcoin than any other cryptocurrency, simply because it's the one that moves the market with it. The scarce supply of BTC should make prices increase over time. I cannot say the same about altcoins, especially when most of them are inflationary. The risks of investing in altcoins is greater than investing in Bitcoin due to lower liquidity/trading volumes and mainstream exposure. Choosing the "blue chip" coins (those within the top 10 ranks in market cap) would be your best bet to secure profits in the long run.

Personally, I'd stake prominent cryptocurrencies and never sell until the market turns bullish again. As long as you don't go crazy investing in "meme" coins like APE, SHIBA or DOGE, your investment will be safe from harms way. Who knows how far crypto market prices will go? Just my opinion Smiley

At the moment i have a bunch:

ETH, Matic, SOL (because of Vitalik tweet), UNU SED LEO (This will probably take my whole life to bounce but tokemonics are sound), I am sure i have Lido DAO (LDO) at some of my wallets but i can't find it to check out.

My biggest bags in usd value are currently in very very low caps and i am linking them as no one probably knows what they are:
Dusk Network, UniDex, Vela Token, BendDAO, Star Atlas

Then there's my most insane bet with PEPESOL, it's not even listed in cmc or cg but it's one of these "1000x is nothing" projects with under $12k marketcap. It's a big hit or miss and i have only $100 in play as getting only to to $1M marketcap would make me over $8000.

Well since this is an open discussion anyway for their experiences and not really continuous one, I would just share that I am 200% stacking in Bitcoin and yes, the 200% was really intentional considering that I am planning to buy more before the bulls take the tables.

Right now, it is kinda going past of 23.7k, so we got that at least. I don't really care about any alts at the moment since their volatility ain't worth of losses unlike Bitcoin.

If staking you mean where you are investing then most of the answers would be the same and that being Bitcoin that everyone of us expect it to grow in price in the next bull run.If you are asking what coins are you staking to get interest out of it no matter if it grows in price or not then this year I have started with ZILLIQA through Atomic Wallet for 15% yearly and since the price of this coin is cheap now I think anyone of us can accumulate a lot of this coin that before has shown potential going up to 0.27 dollars per coin, this is the only coin I am staking to earn interest no matter what is happening.

If it's about investing in altcoins, not only ZILLIQA is getting cheap, but we can see all altcoins being heavily discounted compared to their ATH, but I really find them too risky and not worth it to take risks from now on. I also like to invest in altcoins, they have high risk but good returns, but now is not the right time to focus on altcoins. I am following APT, and I will invest, but at the current price, it is not suitable for investment, I will wait for a better opportunity.

Smiley.
I'm stacking Bitcoin and Ethereum as always, feels like these two are always promising in any situation we are currently in today. For example with Bitcoin I can just do DCA strategy and call it a day, everytime I buy Bitcoin with DCA strategy I'm stacking up my Bitcoin without thinking the price and it's really good in the long run as expected. You could do the same with Ethereum I think.
Yes, the choice that is becoming popular now is to continue buying bitcoins with the DCA strategy. Compared to other coins, bitcoin is the prima donna for bear market situations like this. Maybe Ethereum for some people will also be an option besides bitcoin, and also bnb will usually be the same as Ethereum. The bear market is a great opportunity to buy at the lowest price, yes even though it's not really the lowest price, but the bear market is a big discount for us to enter and invest.

Successful investing relies on maintaining a diversified portfolio. A large portion of your holdings should be in trusted cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, but you shouldn't ignore the upside of investing in promising new initiatives. Striking a balance between the two is essential before making any financial commitments.

There are a few things to bear in mind while doing preliminary research for brand new endeavors. Examine the project's team first to get a sense of who will be working on it. How seasoned are they, and how well-liked are they among their peers? Second, think about the challenges that really exist in the world and whether or not the technology that the project uses may help. Finally, you should think about the project's potential success in the face of other offerings. Is there a genuine need for the project's proposed solution?

Investing in new ventures and initiatives requires diligence if you want to locate the ones with the highest return potential. While it's true that there's always the chance of losing money when trading or investing in cryptocurrencies, the right amount of preparation and study may help you reduce your exposure to risk and make educated choices.
I agree that we should be able to focus on making as much as we can from the investments that we have, otherwise it would not make any sense at all to keep on going as they want. We shouldn't be really focusing on how much we can make, because that is the result and the result will come by itself if you take the right path.

So that means we should be learning and studying the path there, and in order to do that we need to build ourselves a strategy that would align with our personal character as well. If we can do that then we are going to make a good amount of profit from it for sure, it is going to end up being something that is good for all of us.

I currently bought Bitcoin hard and waiting for better confirmation to get deeper into altcoins. What altcoins are in my mind? Honestly I am looking mainly into Ethereum, BNB and Aptos now. I am trying to find new altcoins as well but its very hard to detect one. I am sure with Ethereum and BNB going up following Bitcoin. I sometimes consider trading Avax too but it feels too risky. I think web3 altcoin projects can go very big.

The majority of my portfolio consist of bitcoin, Altcoins are only the minority of my portfolio and the top 50 coins of coin listing sites such as CMC now consist 80% of my current altcoin holding. The 20% of my altcoin holdings now is those who are a start up or have potential to bring profit in the future if I got lucky with them but the risk with them is a bit high compared to other coins I have on my portfolio. I just like being safer that's why I only have a very minor amount of risky tokens in my portfolio. I learned from my past doing gamble on unsure coins, I ended up having a pile of trash coins on my wallet.

Of course for me it is Bitcoin I would try out some alt-coins but it would only be limited to the top losted crypto, since I don't want to risk too much on new crypto's for long term investment.
I don't really trust new crypto's for a long term investment and right now most of my investment are for HODL.

Smiley.
This year, I'm going to stack only 2 coins when it comes to crypto. Bitcoin and Ethereum only.
Why? It's because I just want to diversify and when I mean diversify, it means buying different types of assets and not only buying only one asset like crypto.

Bitcoin and Ethereum are the ones that I picked because, why not? I mean I know that there are some investors out there who opt to buy other altcoins because they're more volatile when the bull run comes, but I'm more of a conservative investor even though I'm at my mid-20's only. There's a saying that if you are younger, you have many chances to risk it all because you can still have time to cope up if ever you lose your money. I don't think that way. I only think that holding long term is the best way. Aside from crypto, I'm also buying different dividend stocks that I will hold for the long term. Passive income. Smiley

All of us have different strategies when it comes to investing, but we all have one goal and that is to profit from our investments.

I've been looking for some new projects lately. I think some new items can accumulate some. It will be a fortune to wait until the general trend is up. For new projects, I'd better not say anything, after all, everyone has their own investment habits. If you buy new coins, you need to keep an eye on the market. Not a good choice for long-term accumulation. I will hold the more popular altcoins for a long time. I look forward to the future

Bitcoin - 60%
ETH- 10%
SOL- 10%
MATIC-10%
ADA- 10%

I know that Bitcoin should be mainly be accumulated but it isnt always that bad to make out some diversification.
This is why its up to you on how you would make out those divisions as long you do know the risk and also dont put all of your eggs in one
basket because we do know that the lots of coins you do involved the more chances of making profits specially when market tends to have
a bullish run.

currently the tides of cryptocurrency overall is changing, I'd say stacking up on coins like btc and eth was best when we are in bearish now that the trend slowly changing, i'd say accumulating alts gonna yields better results.
i'd say right now it's better becoming more focused in alts investments prominently the coin that was having quite the moment lately, even accumulating coin that has lost so much of its value during bearish could also give good results in long term.
Even like that i'd still believe that accumulating btc and ethereum would still be good idea considering they haven't even recovered fraction of their all time highs like before.

I am focusing more on spot trading and hoarding more ADA, BNB, MATIC, DOT, ETH, and BTC (depending on if the price goes lower as of today). I can say that what I am hoarding are like precious gems and I know that in the future they could go much higher maybe it would take years but it is really worth investing in.

Also, bought some altcoins last year when BTC hits $15k like LUNC, SHIB, and more. It's risky but maybe worth it when the bulls run again.
the bear market will continue to occur this year because the world economic situation is still entering a crisis, changes will occur if the crisis can be resolved immediately.

you are very lucky friend, because you can still trade well, agree that what you hoard is definitely a real gem and will shine even more when the bull market occurs in the future.
It seems that your wait will take place in the next 1 years when the era of the halving period will begin to reveal itself.

Stacking up on altcoin like matic, ethereum KCS and bnb is a great strategy for me. I'm still positive about the possibility as it relates to ethereum most especially. I feel the next bull run would give us a new ATH and that explains why I'm willing to hold some ethereum as long as it takes. Bnb and KCS are some good exchange tokens that I'm pretty sure would be worth the hold.

I'm stacking as much PoS coins as I can. Usually those within the top ranks in market cap. My portfolio currently consists of TRX, DOT, MATIC, and ADA. I've had to sell alts such as HIVE and ARK to buy the other coins mentioned before. As soon as BTC skyrockets in price, it's likely my portfolio will grow in USD terms. After all, altcoins go up when Bitcoin goes up in price.

I'd suggest you keep your portfolio as minimal as possible just to avoid losing it all in an instant. Having various PoS coins on your portfolio (10 or more) could bring a lot of risks along the way. Just play it safe by converting your profits into Bitcoin, and you'll have nothing to worry about. Maybe you'll become the next crypto millionaire? Smiley

Obviously, my first option and most important goal is accumulating Bitcoin, but we're in the altcoin section now. Regarding altcoins now, I've started stacking up on BNB, FUN, and BTT. The two latter coins were distributed to me by Binance, and I've continued to acquire more through staking, simply because I have nothing to lose and you never know what these coins may be worth in the future. FUN looks a little more promising than the abandoned BTT. BNB, on the other hand, is always applicable due to Binance Smart Chain and, in my opinion, is capable of surpassing $800 in the upcoming year or two.

Moreover, I'm considering purchasing Litecoin, for no particular reason; it's not in the top 10 of Coinmarketcap, but it's the oldest altcoin in circulation.
I agree, I mean I am collecting bitcoin as much as I can and that's out of the question, that's a given and I will give the answer that is based on altcoin section. I am trying to gather as much ETH as possible as well, it's not an easy task because ETH is expensive and I know I will never have 32 ETH all together, not only I do not have that much money all together but I also do  not like putting all of my money into just one thing neither, and that is why I do not put a chance on me ever having 32 ETH ever.

However, if we look at others, I also get some BNB as well, and I think that's quite good too, and some AVAX as well because I believe the team behind it means well, will they succeed? I do not know but they look like they are not shady and honest, so I am giving them a chance to provide proof of how good they could be.
Bitcoin is undoubtedly the first option for the majority of the forum members, since we're anticipating great returns in the upcoming years. Ethereum is a great alternative; however, I personally prefer BNB for the simple reason that it has great staking capabilities. There's a huge variety of vaults and smart contracts on platforms such as Beefy or even Binance's liquidity mining section. On top of that, Binance offers a cashback of up to 8% per transaction using their debit card; 8% is completely unrealistic due to the massive amount of BNB it requires you to own, but 3% requires 10 BNB, which is achievable. I know that it's not the greatest reason, but it accumulates since I use card payments a lot.

I currently stake a lot of coins, mostly top50 on coinmarketcap. I believe that despite recent increases, crypto winter will extend into 2023 and this is a good time to accumulate cryptocurrency in anticipation of another bull run. I believe that diversifying funds into different cryptocurrencies is a reasonable solution, because I remember that during the previous bull run, some projects recorded increases of x10 and more, but just as many, especially older ones, did not even come close to their ATH. I think it will be the same next time as well.

Many investors for some reason consider the top 50 or top 100 projects, on which you can't earn much. So to speak, they use conservative investing. But there is bitcoin for conservative investing. If I want to get 300-600% profit, then I'll go and buy bitcoin, because it's reliable and won't turn into a scam. If I want 1000-10000%, I go invest in altcoin, but definitely not the top 50 because those are heavy projects that have grown long ago. You have to look for Gems between top-200 and top-800, that's where the most interesting options for altcoin investing are, especially those that have successfully survived the cryptozyma. You will never find big profits with a small deposit in the top 50.

I am stacking up with Ethereum because, it has a lot of benefits to give to those that will invest with a huge amount of money and, wait for the price to hit $35k before the end of next month before they can release them to market. It will be favourable to those that will not give up on Ethereum in this season because, their teams are still working hard to ensure the price pump higher like never before to maintain the position among other cryptocurrencies before the end of this year 2023.

Actually, there is no altcoin that is my direct target, but I would definitely not say no to Ethereum and BNB. In fact, the majority of the comments are made up of opinions in this direction. I think this is a very normal and reasonable situation. If you are not going to buy Bitcoin, if you have bought enough Bitcoin, if you want to buy another coin, these are the best coins you can buy. We are in a bear season that is uncertain how long it will last. It's really not wise to take an uncertain risk during this period.

I'm not a fan of altcoins these days, but I have kept like 20% of some of the altcoins I have been holding since years, so I currently stake Atom and ADA, and continuously add all staking rewards to the staked coins. I did it as an experiment to find out which is better for these coins, to sell or to stake . Atom has been amazingly holding its value for months. Oppositely, ADA has dropped a lot since its ATH. However, I believe these two projects are building and have the needed features to survive the bear market and make new ATH in the next cycle.

I've been collecting bitcoins since a few months ago and until now, I'm still doing it. I don't know until the price increases to $40k and I will stop or it's still below $40k and it will stop but we'll see how bitcoin goes. And if the price can still maintain at the current level, this is a good opportunity for me to increase my bitcoin amount. Moments like this may be difficult to find again when the bitcoin price has reached above $ 100k in the future and even if that happens, it means that we are still given the opportunity to buy at the current price in the future.

Well I am always stacking Bitcoin because it is my number 1 in my portfolio. The other coins I am always trying to stack up are Ethereum and Cardano.

I also have some Solana and and Doge but not as many just to diversify. Then there is the Stablecoins like Tether and BNB. I have some of my fiat ready to make a purchase for ADA new Stablecoin when it is available any time now.

As we will most likely continue to see bear market for this year, what are you stacking up on and why? I would love to know so I can see what people are interested and there reasoning for it.

Smiley.
The market momentum is increasing gradually and we are hoping that things are going to get better sooner. BNB is a good coin we can buy and stake for a while whether for a long term or short term basis. I can project the coin to go bullish more when the cryptocurrency market commence the bull run.

I have some coins I am holding that are good for staking with high APY that is preferably than other coins. Matic token, BNB, Solana etc are good coins we can hold for a better return especially for us that intend to hold for a long time.

I may disagree to you because we are most likely to see a bull this year, the bear is finally over so we should expect that we will see the bulls after this consolidation. As for stacking up, I'm keep getting coins like FTM and MATIC. I chose those two because they have potential in the market especially the Polygon where its price already formed a solid base. I still looking for some altcoins for me to not miss the opportunities out there. Actually, WOO and DASH are also in my watchlists because they have the same pattern wit MATIC and FTM but I still not have them because I'm still finishing my plan for those coins.
It is important to not jump to conclusions so early, the recovery we have been experimenting is without a doubt encouraging but only half a month has transpired since the year began, we could always receive a negative surprise if this current positive movement were to die down, so keep your mind open and think about what you would do in the case the price did not continue with this positive trend, still if you have already identified some coins in which you may like to invest then this seems like a good moment to take a small position on them.

Matic and Avalanche are now adopted by many companies. I have been holding Avalanche for the last year. I think they are an asset. Of course, I also choose some of the top-ranked altcoins such as Bitcoin and Ethereum to put in my wallet. I don’t think eggs should be put in one basket.

Top ten standing altcoin on market cap are stacking my coins assets right now, I am looking for coins with much transaction volume on bigger exchange market like Binance, Houbi and actually this coins support listed in my local exchange market. I am stacking up ethereum in my wallet and I think have potential for few months later will break to higher price.

Except Ethereum I have several BNB coins in my wallet as my holding coins assets, I sure with BNB and ETH will back to all time high price later actually after Bitcoin back again above $40,000 and my altcoin assets holding will break out to higher price.

It is far from certain that this year will be bearish. Maybe the bottom is already passed and the market starts to gradually return to the bullish mood. Anyway, if bear market will continue, it will be one more opportunity to buy coins with big discount, if it will start to recover, there will be a chance to get good profit from coins buying in bear market. Although if someone didn't want to buy and just watched, now will also watch things go up and someone make a profit.

So far I haven't bought another altcoin since last year if we're talking about a long-term hold. I am also stacking but only bitcoin for now as I am still observing the altcoin market. But within this year I am planning to add some more ETH and BNB. I am also contemplating and researching a few more altcoins that have the potential to grow x50 something.

Just today I decided to start a simple positioning trade. This would be my first trade since 2021. I bought DATA and I am planning to exit once my selling price is reached which is only 11%.

Still accumulating more BTC and BNB. The current price is still a good opportunity to accumulate more. The price has started to rise slowly recently, patiently waiting for the next bull market to come and take profits. And the halving of Bitcoin is coming soon, which will also push the price up.

I would say dogecoin as because it is just made for a joke with no utility purpose. I believe other coins that would be using proof of stake can be used for a purpose as the technology develops and adoption comes in. I think dogecoin would be more of a just for fun and memeing around with hope of someone famous tweeting it for potentially some financial gains. Isn't it also very heavy inflationary? This is what goes through my mind with dogecoin.
Demand and supply dictate how the price of an item will be. Besides, Dogecoin can still be used for different purpose such as payments. Also, other coins which you think have utility purpose probably have the same general purpose as Dogecoin

Tell me an altcoin that has a completely different utility purpose from Bitcoin and Ethereum and isn't even used by masses that adopted it as a means of payment.

Well I am not yet confirmed if I am very much interested in Altcoin this year because Altcoin to me has been so risky. I am still very bullish about Bitcoin and although I can not get a whole bitcoin yet I hope to keep accumulating it gradually.

An advice guys it’s best to stack up coins that would be productive to you in the future and although some coin may seem to be showing positive signs now but they can still at any time crash down.

Nice project no doubt. but i think the next trend will be ZKrollup's so I'm waiting for the zkSync token launch.

Don't you think the next bull market will start end of this year or early next year?
According to what I have read in different articles, this year and the next gonna be recovery years. The bull trend will start after 6 months/ or a year after halving.

Many would say Ethereum and Bitcoin because major cryptocurrencies are having higher chances to endure market downfalls if the situation we are seeing, would continue up until next year. Good grief that the market somehow showed recovery in the past few days but it is just hard to think that it will continue for a long period of time. What's more likely to occur is correction afterwards. The reason why the market price gone up right now, is not a concrete factor to push market prices to again break barriers. Going back, holding these mentioned coins would be an advantage; if the price would go down these two could resist to not fall that much unlike with other smaller cryptos. And once there is a bullish trend, these two would more likely lead the run.

Am stacking up mostly on alts since they stand a chance of making a good profit, alts are risky i get that part but investment is about taking a little bit of risk otherwise you won't grow.
And they are mostly low-cap alts with great concept (web3 support) that still has enough room to grow in this next bull market. Also bought a few btc because you never go wrong with holding btc in your wallet.

I see, i'm mostly just in altcoins, I do plan on getting on btc when my alts pump during a bull market. But for now, just gonna ride the altcoins until 2024 bull market. They are high caps alts.

Right now, I'm stacking stablecoins. I am more into stablecoins now and later on, I will use all most of my stablecoins to start buying Bitcoin and Ethereum.
My next target are only Bitcoin and Ethereum, I will stack most of these cryptocurrency until next few years like on next cycle. I believe we will see another cycle in next coming years that's why I'm very careful on which I stack.

If it's other than BTC, then ETH and BNB come first after BTC of course. I'm not going to take too high a risk, because with all the analysis I've done, these two coins are still my personal favorite.
This is a very good opportunity for us to accumulate more in our wallets. We have seen the price spike recently and it is enough to make me smile to see my portfolio also following the spike.
Actually there are a few new projects that I see promise of lately, but I prefer to focus on what I'm doing now which is DCA. Because BTC is more promising for us to collect as much as possible.
Besides there is not much of a reason to decide to invest in those coins right now, yes you could get in very early and make more money this way, but what are the chances this will happen? Not very good if you ask me, it is better to take the safer approach and invest in good coins, then later on once we are finally immersed on the bull run you can decide to speculate once you have obtained massive profits from those investments, as you will be playing with free money at that point.
So from that, even though I did see some there, I discouraged my intention to return because regardless of the conditions, it was a little difficult if I really tried my luck with some projects that were unclear and new.
We know that bitcoin is a sure thing and it is a fitting goal, regardless of anything there is no doubt there.

Wouldn't you want to accumulate a more promising altcoin for a bigger pump during a bull market to cash out for btc if that is your goal as then your returns would be higher in btc value?
No, I basically don't really like the pump and dump system in altcoins. On the other hand, the current conditions, regardless of anything, I don't really believe in the many altcoin projects that exist apart from those I mentioned earlier, so why bet with some new projects. Even though this is indeed about risk, we also have to be able to see that what we do in crypto is trading and investing, not gambling.

I'm slowly trying to grow a stack of polygon/matic.  They had a good run last bull market but I think they can breakout huge this next one whenever it comes.  They have continued to grow the project in these tough times right now I can only imagine how much more inspired they will be once prices start to rebound.

Not buying anymore but during the big drop, Bitcoin and top altcoins are my only choice now that I take risk last year all i need to do is to wait patiently for the next bull run and hopefully it can happen this year. The price started to pump already, this is a good sign and lucky to those who are able to buy at the bottom price. Too early to take profit right now but if you are already happy with it then why not, you can just buy again when the price corrects.

In this bear market I have plans to be able to add even more to the 2 crypto assets I trust for long term investment purposes.
Of these 2 assets, namely Bitcoin and ETH, but what I prioritize the most in increasing the amount is Bitcoin.
The reason I only chose these 2 coins is because Bitcoin and ETH are the most potential crypto tokens and have a good long term compared to other tokens.
The price also cannot be manipulated or influenced by someone, so it is more likely that it will experience a significant price increase and survive.

Wouldn't dogecoin just be a massive gamble in the end ?
Why do you think so? Give your reasons

If anything, I would rather believe in a long time POW shitcoin rather than this brand new POS shitcoins, which are I believe are more of a gamble than Doge as they can become worthless overnight.
I mean look at LUNA where is it now?

Obviously majority of us will go for Bitcoin (BTC) as their main portfolio.

But I have the following alts:

1. ADA
2. BNB
3. AVA

So far I have accumulated a good amount since they are cheap and just waiting for the right time, at least in the bull run to settle everything and see how it goes for me.

And BTW, we have this sort of bullishness across the board, BTC going as high as $21k and so it has echo to most of the altcoins.

Ah big fan of cardano's development last year and very optimistic for this year too. I hope that will do well in 2024 bull market.

it is obviously BTC, ETH and BNB it just seems no brainer in stacking up and bag holding this coin at the moment, the other coins mostly still uncertain about their future, even solana like now either it's gonna go up really high or it just gonna go down it just seemed unsafe investment investing in newer coins around bearish but once bullrush signs is already showing i'm sure stacking up on some of these newest alts gonna make more sense.
i'd say always prioritize investing in coin that's already considered good quality yet already losing good share of its value that way it will be more worth it and more prospecting for your investments in the upcoming bullruns.

btc,eth I understand but I see a lot of people saying BNB, why do you say so ?

I am mostly focusing on POW. Mostly BTC and Dogecoin. I am tired of reading about the centralized POS coin scams. POW coins are what originally decentralization on the blockchain was all about. POS is a threat to decentralization and I can not support it.

You can't try to avoid centralized banks and systems only to buy and HODL a shitcoin that is centralized.

If we are not going to talk about BTC (because altcoin section) then ETH and BNB, not that I do not have anything else, I have a small amount in other things as well but those two are what I keep rebuying more and more. I am going to end up with as much of them as I could possibly have, not that I am going to stop anytime soon.

It means that every time I get my salary, I am going to spend a little bit of it on buying eth and bnb, right now at 50-50% situation but I will get some more ETH later on during the summer when I will get rid of all my debt (which is almost over) and can spare more money. I understand people who buy smaller cap stuff, but this is what I prefer.

I would be interested to know why BNB? I know it did have a big craze before.

Almost all of my tokens were growing up again. I never stack bitcoin but i have been stacking up some tokens like GALA, LAND and many more. Glad to see that bitcoin has been making comeback instantly and it has surpassed 20k again. It seems like that huge recovery in the economic of some biggest countries have been decreasing the fear to put money in the crypto. Crypto has become a new trend right now. Bitcoin will have another halving to come and this is also pushing the price to go even higher than before.
I hope that bitcoin will be going back again at 60k as average price. that's gonna be so good to see that my portfolios will be increasing multiple times again. Bitcoin can do that.

Your portfolio is different, I don't know if anyone is like you, but you are the first on this forum that doesn't invest in bitcoin and only invests in altcoins. Most people on this forum are very interested and focused mainly on bitcoin.

You say you are happy for bitcoin to go up and hope bitcoin can hit 60k, but why don't you hold any bitcoins? While bitcoin will definitely recover and hit ATH, altcoins are uncertain, investing in altcoins is very risky, and many altcoins will never be able to recover.

I bought some Cosmos (Atom) for a few weeks or so when it was at around 10 $. Recently after the last dumps i could have even bought it for around 8,50$ per coin but so far i am pretty happy with that purchase. Right now i am pretty unhappy with my decision making to be honest, because i was monitoring NEAR for at least a few weeks now and when it was at 1,30$ i still thought it would go close to 1$ and then i wanted to buy. Now during the last few days i also was always close to buy a few near but i was always waiting for the setback because it went up quite a lot. Now we are at 2,20 per NEAR so yeah Sad. If it goes below 2$ again i will buy  a few i think.
I don't think that this is the start of a real bull market yet.

Since we are in the altcoin board, then I'm into ETH right now, my memory is still very fresh in 2018 when it went as low as $80 and then goes up to more than $4k in the last bull run. So maybe we will not see that huge profit in 2024/25, but I'm going to take that risk.

No meme or shit coins for me, so besides, ETH, I'm also deep on BNB as well. Good to have this altcoin as well to be some hedge in my portfolio as it could really be valuable as well in the future.

Only BTC, FUN and ETH right now, and I'm willing to retreat from staking, fearing the recent events involving the scams in crypto industry. Now that crypto market is becoming interesting again, I'm not feeling confident in letting my coins in third party platforms. Greedy scammers are everywhere, especially at the command of exchanges, so we must be careful, as once they see the market pumping I don't know what might pass through their minds, but something like taking advantage of users' funds for more profit is not only possible, as also likely.

And with the pump for bitcoin which is giving the sense for all other altcoins to pump then anyone would likely to get to pick what they really want.
Because when this season is up, it's most likely that everything everyone picks is also going to be up.

As we will most likely continue to see bear market for this year, what are you stacking up on and why? I would love to know so I can see what people are interested and there reasoning for it.

We just touched the price of $21k right before the end of January, this could be a good start but of course correction can still happen for a more healthy up trend. I’ve been buying some top altcoins and Bitcoin of course, and I can say now its totally worth it because the market is getting better now and green days are coming.

Bitcoin can do that.

it is obviously BTC, ETH and BNB it just seems no brainer in stacking up and bag holding this coin at the moment, the other coins mostly still uncertain about their future, even solana like now either it's gonna go up really high or it just gonna go down it just seemed unsafe investment investing in newer coins around bearish but once bullrush signs is already showing i'm sure stacking up on some of these newest alts gonna make more sense.
i'd say always prioritize investing in coin that's already considered good quality yet already losing good share of its value that way it will be more worth it and more prospecting for your investments in the upcoming bullruns.

Matic has been growing even in the bear market which is why I am trying to grab more of it because there are also companies adopting the Polygon chain. There are others that I have bought but it's the Matic that I have been staking up among the altcoins. Jsut buying every time it dips back below 0.80 as I'm still unsure if I have to grab a ton of it since this slight jump in BTC price might just be a bull trap again as it always did in the past.
