Lol at so many fake posts about fake plans. Who on earth in 2023 says things like "oh I'm waiting for halving to deposit bitcoin" or "I will hodl even more" like newbies wait for such events? Who doesn't have BTC and knows about halving??

Maybe they are just open to share their plans to other people but we can't expect them to follow what they have written since sometimes people are just exaggerated regarding on their plans but in reality its hard for them to follow this its because they don't actually have a balance hold and they just want to ride the hype of the people. To many people like that that's why sometimes its hard to agree with their statement especially if the word written is to good to be true and they post a lot of good plans to follow.

Um no, my point is these are fake posts with no real plans. These posts are the scum of the earth. There may be real people, actual noobs coming in here, trying to find out what actual Bitcoin people are planning. They'' get the wrong idea.

It's not even about agreeing with them, it's pointing out the ridiculous nature of these threads and posts. It's my fault I get so mad, usually I use ignore Tongue

Nothing in particular, probably just save enough money so I can buy more in case the black swan event happens after or before the halving, that's probably all that I've got in terms of plan for the halving, I trust bitcoin and I have a target price so I don't think I have much to do besides having to hodl for as long as I can or until I get to the price that I promised I would sell all of my bitcoins in. That's not a big or grand plan but I'm happy with following that plan and I thought it's worth sharing.

What are your plans for the upcoming halving?

With the halving process coming up, I generally started to update my investment baskets to focus more on Bitcoin. More than 50% of my three different investment baskets (short, medium and long term) are currently held by Bitcoin. Of course, there will be different investment alternatives during this process and they will offer good earning opportunities but as in every halving period the probability of Bitcoin gaining value is almost guaranteed, so my primary choice when investing is Bitcoin.

In other words, with the coming up of the halving process the biggest change in my short, medium and long-term investments was that the share of Bitcoin in my baskets increased from 25-40% to 50-80%.
And this is the right decision, right now I see that some people are already thinking about investing in altcoins and I wonder why? On the early stages of the bull run with the exception of altcoins with a low market cap that pump and dump early, most coins will just follow bitcoin and show a lower performance than what you will see in bitcoin.

Then the strategy that makes the most sense is to concentrate on bitcoin at the beginning, and once you see that altcoins are slowly reverting this tendency, that could be the perfect moment to invest some of your profits in altcoins.

Do people have plans towards halving? what can be important around the halving is the pricing out around the period and other reaction of other coin, there is high posibility that the focus will shift on bitcoin at the point that many altcoins will drop massively, It will also a good time to buy. This time is usually an extended and frustrating period for holder but experience will help some buy more and hold. Fortunately is not the time to sell bitcoin. I will also be on the lookout for who will replace Elon Musk or will he come back again. Who will be the new influencer in this market?

also investing in coin that somehow related to bitcoin might prove to be bountiful you see ORDI and STX has been increasing so high lately due to the bitcoin influence towards the coin i'm sure its just the beginning and we will eventually rich all time high and bitcoin with all these altcoin are gonna be rising.
I'm expecting that maybe in the next year around Q2 we would be nearing the all time high but no one know for sure regardless the current market has shown to be leaning rather towards bullish and thats honestly a pleasant circumstance for anyone that have accumulated from when bearish initially started all the way to today because the profit they get already quite high enough about 2 times of the previous price even more significant for those that holds altcoin with relatively low value.

Not Your Keys, Not Your Bitcoin
I am consistently reassessing and reevaluating my investment strategy as the halving could have a significant impact on the price of Bitcoin and other altcoins. The halving could also lead to a surge in interest in altcoins. As such, I am on the lookout for alternative investment opportunities. And, of course, dollar-cost averaging (DCA) is a consistent investment I make. That's my plan, at least. What are your plans for the upcoming halving?

What kind of coins do you plan to DCA? I'm not sure if you plan bitcoin but you really need to have money, I mean something reasonable to do that because anything you buy now on bitcoin will have to double in price and by that double, the bitcoin need to reach $80k before you can make a 100% investment from where you bought the bitcoin, so I hope you check your plans so don't just buy bitcoin and complain that it doesn't yield anything after all, but if the funds is in large quantity, then it's all good to go.

About altcoins DCA you plan to do. I hope you know the type of altcoins to buy, the type to buy and the kind to avoid. There are some of them that are practically waiting for free money for recoveru because most of the people that invested in them are all down and are waiting for the price recovery so they can dumo their bags and exit the project, don't end up been a liquidity funding for some investors.

I hope you also out in consideration of altcoins that are in watch list of SEC, the coins/tokens are considered to be securities and they will definitely get into problem later, they may win just like ripple in future but it's good to make your findings before you buy what might not give you profits later in the future.

Left several months before halving time and I have big plan keep accumulate Bitcoin in daily day or weekly until halving time arrive. All people mindset halving time is great chance to buy as many bitcoin and hold it for selling before or after halving with potentail raise to higher price. I started almost last two months keep accumulate Bitcoin exactly for getting much profitable when halving time.

Every one have plan for halving time will come few months later, still not late start accumulate right now although bitcoin have been break out above $43,000 with halving get more higher price. I reduce my outside activities and not much drink on the coffee yet for accumulating bitcoin as possibility in weekly.

I have a different view towards the upcoming halving, there is no serious preparation for the upcoming halving, considering several things that are happening right now, I view the situation in the future as being much different from the halving that has happened, Of course I have certain reasons for that, which cannot be said here, they are all based on my assumptions and speculations that I have read from several Bitcoin observers.

However, whatever the reason, I can only hope and pray that Bitcoin will be better in the future, as well as trading factors in the crypto market and also miners, investors, investments and so on.

You don't have a different view, you have the majority view. You can't say the reasons for you thinking the halving is gonna be different? Half the point of this forum is to back up your posts.

You can't pray for better futures for everyone man. Especially investors, someone must pose for another to profit. Duh

Actually expect people to have similar view since we can do similar things like accumulate and hold. The only difference there is on when we decide to sell since for sure we have different figures to be told since not everyone have the same patience and for sure there's a lot of people easily got affected in some situation occur in the market.

No other plans but to maximize my purchase with bitcoin, and the best remedy for that is to maximize doing DCA as well. Although some altcoins might also show its hidden potentials, but I know FOMOing with altcoins is not actually the best decision, even though it could sometimes work for others.

My big plans are all for bitcoin. I have seen the previous bitcoin halving, and I love the feeling getting massive profits with bitcoin, so I'm doing it all again.

No big plans in my case. I think I will continue to accumulate, but I plan to sell after halving, the first sale being when the price passes 90,000. And I say this figure because I am aware that $100,000 is a barrier that will be difficult to break because of the massive sell orders that will be placed. Once this is breached I also plan to sell partially as the price continues to rise.

My strategy has worked well so far - I try not to overthink it too much.  I just steadily accumulate during market dips and hold on for the long ride up.  I know timing the market is nearly impossible, so I'm not trying to sell perfectly at the peak or anything.  My basic approach is to sell some portion after significant runs up to take some profits off the table.  That way I can recoup my capital and let the house money ride.  But I don't want to sell too quickly and risk missing out on potential future growth.  Its a balancing act for sure.
a safe way to grow money, where when an increase occurs we sell some of it in exchange for our capital, and so on, let the profits work to double the money. However, if we invest in Bitcoin, I think waiting for the real bullish season will be better, considering that investing in this coin is the safest, and of course when the halving occurs it will bring more profits, if the halving doesn't meet expectations, we hold on. it will also grow even more

Preparing to sell. I've been accumulating purchases for the last year, and I hope the halving causes a change in Bitcoin prices that rockets it to the moon, so I can at least gain a profit from that price change. I believe everyone shares the same sentiment as me, expecting a drastic price increase similar to the post-halving moments in the past.

While no one can confirm or guarantee that it will happen, we can only hope. Keep holding onto Bitcoin and wait for that moment. At least, if the halving doesn't trigger a BTC price surge, the ETF can be another reason to make it happen.
I can see that people had been anticipating for the halving and this is a good opportunity for some traders to prepare to sell their holdings because there had been speculations that the price of Bitcoin is going to be volatile and this will be an opportunity for traders to maximize their profits. Whether we ever setting and preparing for the halving or not, it is good for us to make sure that we have some holdings of Bitcoin and altcoins too for us to be more profitable as a trader or investor. This kind of planning can be very profitable for us in a long run.

Same thing mate. I also choose DCA to accumulate as much as I can. But here's the thing. This is Bitcoin halving and the main focus should be on Bitcoin that's for sure. And as history tells us, BTC will be the first to rise in the bull market's beginning. So focusing on that will be much more rewarding. And you can make more profits that way. And after that, the altcoin season starts. In that period, you can use the profits earned from your BTC investment to accumulate more profits through altcoins investment.

Then again, I am not a financial advisor. Do your own research and it's your money. Do whatever seems good for you.

I am still accumulating using my usual accumulation strategy which is the DCA till the halving. I have plans to sell some fraction of my bitcoin and hodli the rest. I have also come up with a price target that when bitcoin price reaches, I will sell that I have to and keep the rest, but if bitcoin price did not reach my price target I might not sell. So many investors might be looking for a very big price and will end up not selling and before they will know it bitcoin will dip to the bear market.

Right now, I am accumulating cryptocurrencies that I think will give me good earnings this upcoming Bitcoin halving. Actually, I have several altcoins that DCA is actually doing. I hope that all my savings can provide for or help me build a house and also establish a small business.

Because I really intend to sell my crypto holdings when the bull run comes, not when the Bitcoin halvings come, most of the time the bull run actually comes after the halving.

I already reached the maximum limit of investment capital, I have nothing to do for now but just wait for the bull season.
For those who have not yet filled their limits, this is the time to do it now. Though we can expect some corrections before halving but for me, we don't need to wait for it before deciding to buy instead, make a decision now rather than losing the chance. The market price is still way far for the ATH which is why buying at the current will still give us a profit when selling them at its peak price.

My big plan for Bitcoin halving was that I would deposit some bitcoins before Bitcoin halving started and sell it after the halving and deposit more later. But since I don't have bitcoins at the moment, that plan may not be possible to implement but hopefully I can save some bitcoins. If you don't deposit bitcoins before halving, you won't be able to make much profit.

Probably to invest more in Bitcoin to accumulate more profits for the next bull run or all time high.

It is important to maximize profit as much as possible. I don't save my money in the bank, whenever I have an extra money, I never hesitate to put it in Bitcoin. For sure, when bull run will start to happen, many people will regret not buying Bitcoin, or they will buy at the top and start regretting and will spread FUD when bitcoin's bull market stop and bear market starts to happen.

For retail or small investors like me doing what you are doing is the best choice but for whales they will be able to buy large amounts of Bitcoin to sell in the next 1-2 years or after the halving, but it doesn't really matter how we start accumulating bitcoin, because what is important is that we are not left behind in the next bull run, and it does not rule out the possibility that people who do the current DCA is not targeting the nearest bull run but more than 5 year.
More than anything what matters is that people begin to save, to invest and do this consistently, people often are looking for a secret strategy that will allow them to achieve their goals in a short amount of time, but what they fail to realize is that a strategy as simple as just buying bitcoin whenever they have some spare cash can be incredibly powerful as long as this is done often enough.

However such a strategy is so obvious and boring that it is immediately dismissed as ineffective, even if it is one of the easiest and most powerful strategies that anyone could use.
There's no such thing about secret on how to invest or trying out to accumulate or something talks about strategy yet its been just needing that kind of awareness about on how things should really be
done. If we do see that Bitcoin is really that having a potential and it do really convinces to accumulate then its up to our choice. It is  really just that there are people who are really that skeptical
when it comes to Bitcoin or crypto investment on which i couldn't blame them considering on how volatile and unpredictable this market is then you would really be having those kind of
hesitation but well if we do invest on the amounts that we can afford to lose  then it would really be just that fine.

Plans before halving? I do expect that there would be some huge dump neither before near halving or after halving. This is where these corrections or final
dumps do happen. So better watch out because thats the best time to get in but well if you dont care about on the price then this wouldnt really be an issue.

Your keys, your responsibility
I don't have any specific plans for the upcoming halving, the fact is that from previous events the price will not suddenly move in a positive direction drastically.
Bull market cycles may always occur, but no one guarantees the exact date. Just accumulate and diversify portfolios and hope one of them experiences a positive trend early.

If you are exploring your opportunities with alts, better look at top 20 at least. Then, weigh your options on this market.
Because as you learn more about alts, and their strong points, you will understand their potential in the upcoming months.
And do remember, knowledge in TAs are great but most of the time, it won't have influence in the market performance of alts.
I value your suggestions, but I get to hear a lot about looking at top 10, top 20, or top 50 alts because they are already doing good, have a better market cap, are listed on good exchanges, etc. etc. But I don't really think this works or is it? Just asking as a newbie not countering your suggestion (peace). And to be honest, I don't really have enough knowledge to judge the potential of any ALTs, I mean either its gamefi, L2, or any other type, I don't have enough knowledge to judge which would give me some decent profit.

And to be crystal clear, I suggested to the members who do not hold ALTs that even though I am holding some but I am holding with the money and I don't care if I make a loss with them. And talking about TA, I have also faced this, because a few days ago I started to learn indicators and how to read candles but on trying them I am not getting any positive results (just observing not making real trades by following these indicators).

You have a good plan because you want to diversify your investment in crypto. But you should be careful when investing in altcoins.
With so many altcoins on the market, it will make you confused about choosing one, especially if you don't find accurate information about altcoins.
Indeed, investing in altcoins can provide big profits too, but this search factor is not easy, which is an obstacle for investors in finding the right altcoin.
I still do DCA for bitcoin investments. Meanwhile, I am still monitoring the movement of altcoins and it is the altcoins that are in the top 100 positions.
And if I want to invest in altcoins, I will limit the amount of money because I remain focused on investing in bitcoin.

As you rightly said, although I do not think there should be a unique or a special plans for halving.  It should be a plan that has been in existence or whether you are talking about an exit plan.
First, I will advise anyone who is investing through DCA to stop investment immediately the bitcoin price hits $50. I do not have any theories to support this, it is just what I feel is right. Anyone who started to DCA when bitcoin price was at the range of $15k, should be able to stop DCA when the price gets to $50k and then begin to plan an exit method.

My major challenge which I know will also be the challenge of many is when to exit the market.  I can say that if bitcoin makes a new ATH, anyone is free to exit at any point, else you could be trapped back to bear market.

What are your plans for the upcoming halving?
Nothing unusual but to keep on accumulating as well and try to keep away from the temptation of selling early.

I have got plans when I should sell and that must be after the halving and when it has pumped a lot. I have some numbers on my mind but whether they're reached or not, I'll have to decide whether to sell or not.

But even so, I am likely to sell no matter what happens because I have got some plans to buy something big for myself.
What if the pump came before and during the halving only? And after it, there will be no more? You know, correction, and market cycle. Oh well, as you said, you still have numbers written in your mind, so maybe you will still sell once they are reached and it doesn't matter if what occasion we are having. I'm curious BTW, if what is that thing you are planning to buy. Hmm. My guess could be a car or a house? Hehe.

Although there are also small items which can be very expensive. It was still fine, as it was a reward for our selves for the hardwork that we have done. Also don't forget to treat your loved ones. It should as well act as a celebration for another milestone that BTC have reached/achieved.

In prior bull markets (2017/'21), I missed out on gains due to not converting paper profits into real profits, so my only plan this time around is to sell coins. I understand you can't know what's the top so I'm looking to dca-out certain percent out of my holding each time I feel like it's good price to sell.
So what you break up when you see a good price and then sell is actually not a problem because it will still be profitable, but it would be nice to keep holding in a few years but only for bitcoin.

Yea, it's good to convert one's profits into BTC, but do not hold onto alts, as they may never recover and you'll just become a bag holder.

My mistake was to hold onto alts forever, eventually they all bitten the dust.

Convert to BTC/ETH (ETH is my personal choice) or any stablecoin but never keep holding onto alts.

If I can consistently DCA, I'll choose that no doubt.
But if some times that I can't do it, I'll just probably go over the lumpsum type of buying o whenever I can afford to. That's still a type of DCA because I'm buying at any time that I can avail to and there's no certain period or time limit that I can do it.

Like other people, just focus on increasing our investment accumulation, as usual, keep holding without panicking when Bitcoin prices go up and down. In this case, the main focus is of course on Bitcoin alone as the main investment to prepare for the bullish era and the future. because we all already know how Bitcoin can make this happen.

On the other hand, if we hope to go into altcoins, make sure that we choose the right coin. This is not that easy because not all altcoins are able to survive or reach their highest prices again. Reflecting on the bullish era of last season, it seems, it would be much better if we were more careful. Top altcoins do not guarantee us big profits, but at least they are not as big as the risks of new altcoins. And not all top altcoins can survive in the future, because we make sure we choose those that are likely to have bigger chances than other altcoins. Ethereum is a prime candidate, and others, you can hold for yourself for analysis.

Maximizing my bitcoin portfolio through DCA. Bitcoin halving has become imminent and the best way I can achieve my goal with bitcoin is through doing DCA only. While DCA is not limited to bitcoin only, as you can also apply with some high potential altcoins, but if there's one thing I learned from my past investments, that is to focus on bitcoin only as reputable altcoins are only rare seen in the market now.

However, if you have been hodling already good altcoins in your portfolio, then that would be a lot better. Diversifying is good and productive as long as you end up with reputable altcoins in the market.

What are your plans for the upcoming halving?
I have no big plan in the upcoming halving. I just want to make it simple. I will just accumulate some Bitcoin everytime the price hit the support zone until halving. When halving occur, I will not buy Bitcoin immediately but to wait for a short term dump to occur before I going to buy because I believe that even though we can't see that the price of Bitcoin dump in it's halving history it's very possible to happen since smart money are aware of it.

Typically, Altcoin rise massively after Bitcoin reach its peak since Bitcoin investors will find new investment opportunities through altcoin but Bitcoin is still the best investment until halving is not done yet. Altcoin will always be outperformed by Bitcoin since traders is more focus on Bitcoin halving and just toss a portion of their investment on altcoins until the new ATH reach or halving is done.

Purchasing altcoin now is dangerous and useless at the same time because it will just copy Bitcoin movement while it’s correction is so brutal as always.

Altcoin in trading has its own place while we talk about the Bitcoin then it is still holding the significant place. We can't say that the coin will behave like weird after the bitcoin halving, even we see the market is also bullish now and we can expect good moves from the altcoins too. Recently we have seen that Bitcoin was almost up and the altcoins were moving at good condition. So, in the future we will also see Bitcoin at its highest trades and we will also see the altcoins on the same platform.

Like you say whenever the bitcoin got pumps it also gives some another altcoins a good pump like we see not only this time but it often do the same whenever the bitcoin prices rises in a condition.

Same with others to accumulate as much as Bitcoin or any altcoin we like but prefer most the Bitcoin. Nothing unusual as I still use the same strategy that I've used before and continue to hold until it reaches my goal price. This would really be the plan of others too, to continue to accumulate Bitcoin and hold as much as they could to maximize profit. Though I am planning to buy some top altcoins but I will only do so when I have spare money to spend on after buying some Bitcoin.

I feel like altcoins is just the more volatile version of BTC.
There are far too many differences between altcoins and bitcoins to term them volatile versions of Bitcoin.

• Bitcoin is secure, majority of alts are built on insecure algorithms.
• Bitcoin is decentralized, majority of alts are centralized.
• Bitcoin has a use case, majority of alts do not.

Volatility is just a factor of the difference.

It can, but I can't tell which altcoin, so I'll play it safe with Bitcoin. As attractive as altcoins can be to gamble on considering how cheap many of them are, thy have a higher failure rate than success, making them a huge risk.

My plan for the halving is to accumulate more Bitcoin, ride the waves of the bullrun and hopefully cone oug the other side with more bitcoins than I started with.
I feel like altcoins is just the more volatile version of BTC. For example, if the price of BTC goes down by 1% these altcoins will go down by 10% and similarly when the price for BTC pumps up, all the altcoins will surge up as well. That's mainly due to the low market cap and I would strongly advise against new coins because there are so many shit coins nowadays. Perhaps something within the top 200 CMC is a decent idea.

Looking for a big profit - trade alts. Looking for solid but slow profits - trade BTC.

DCA is my simple strategy and I’ve been doing this since the bear market. I made some profit already considering the value of the market today but this is not my target yet and I’m very optimistic about the future of the market especially after the Bitcoin halving event, just like in the past I’m sure this can be big. Doing your best action now is advisable, don’t listed to fud and stay focus, bull will be more big this time.
DCA is for investment and with DCA, you can do it in bear and bull market. It is not only restricted to applicable in bear market if you understand DCA correctly.

It will depend on your investment plan and your understanding about Bitcoin market cycle. When you are unsure the market will hit it all time high and start a bear market shortly after that, you will have to stop DCA in a bull run and consider to hold your bitcoin, consider to take profit with it.

In a bear market, it is not smart to DCA when it just starts because to hit bottom price range, it will take like one year and a little bit longer. You can DCA about one year after a bear market start to maximize bitcoin you can buy with same capital for DCA.

Bitcoin To The Moon 📈📈📈
In prior bull markets (2017/'21), I missed out on gains due to not converting paper profits into real profits, so my only plan this time around is to sell coins. I understand you can't know what's the top so I'm looking to dca-out certain percent out of my holding each time I feel like it's good price to sell.
So during the bullish period (2017/2021) you didn't sell your holdings at that time even though you made a big profit? Maybe you were too greedy where the price will continue to rise instead of falling and the market enters bearish then many coins are stuck even more likely to continue to fall.

But now we are a little easy to shoot what will happen to bitcoin after halving, maybe we will know how bullish it was in 2017/2021, it is likely that the price of bitcoin can be bullish again in 2025, this is just looking in terms of the previous cycle.

So what you break up when you see a good price and then sell is actually not a problem because it will still be profitable, but it would be nice to keep holding in a few years but only for bitcoin.

No specific plans for the halving I think but yeah just when it's about to happen, the price hikes and it may not be when it happens but a few days or weeks before due to the anticipation. I might short some BTC probably a couple of weeks before the halving and sell later depending on how the market performs.

Years ago halving used to be a massive event but I feel that with time, it's not really that big of an event because people anticipate and buy months before it happens like we are discussing it now while halving is not even close to happening.

In my case there is no need for any fancy plans, whatever I needed to be done has been done already, so the only thing that remains is to keep buying bitcoin periodically and let the bull market to finally appear.

More than anything I am also checking that my coins are secure and that I have not made any mistake along the way, as losing our coins now just when the bull market is around the corner would be a blow that most people will be unable to endure.

A few weeks ago I planned to only go for BTC but after watching the potential of ALTs I am convinced by them and now I plan to invest in ALTs too but there are a number of ALTs in the market and it is very hard for me to chose any of them. So, I am approaching different channels, groups, and YT channels to gain more knowledge about ALTs, and even start learning to trade. Which I had not learnt before while investing in BTC because at that time I knew investing in BT for the long term does not need a high level of knowledge about TA and FA.

So, I simply followed the FA I made due to my presence on the internet and started investing in it. But now for trading in ALTs, I have to do TA also, I realize you were not talking about trading in ALTs instead you were talking about holding in ALTs.

But till now from what I have learned never hold ALTs, always set your targets and when you achieve your target exit the market with the capital you have invested you might book some profit too but exiting from the market will save your investment money and make you risk-free.

If you have the appropriate altcoin that will rise during the halving season, there will be a lot of interest. Currently, dozens of altcoins exist in the cryptosphere, and there's always a chance that many of them won't generate rewards for their investors.

Therefore, don't hold out much expectation for the interest that altcoins would generate for you during the halving, as they might be disappointing. But bitcoin won't act in such a manner, whether it is halving or not.

One of the things I do is to strengthen my heart to continue holding, and increase my Bitcoin accumulation as much as I can afford. Of course, we are all looking forward to the halving and also the bullish era that has been eagerly awaited for many years. However, without thorough preparation for various things, this might be a little difficult. Therefore, just focus on holding, whatever FUD may happen in the future, at least we keep trying and believe in our targets. Keep monitoring the market and don't get carried away by panic because of something that influences the market.

Well, that could also be possible with altcoins as there are really some potential altcoins who can ride with the bullish price of bitcoin. But as a piece of advice, never give your 100% trust on that because majority of altcoins still follow their pump and dump scheme. It's better to focus more on bitcoin and do DCA as much as you can because you can never be wrong with bitcoin as long as you stay investing on the amount you can afford to lose and you're willing to hold it when the price suddenly experience a decline.

However, DCAing with altcoins and bitcoin is certainly a great idea as well. But with limited amount of funds, I'd say stick to bitcoin.

I'll go with DCA as well as I have been doing that for most of my life. My goal is to secure a good amount of bitcoin in my portfolio before bitcoin halving comes so doing DCA will definitely help me to achieve that. And while looking into some potential altcoins is also a good idea, but for me I'm more optimistic about bitcoin so I'll just focus on it and do diversifying probably after I have gained decent profits from bitcoin.

However, if you have bigger amount of hard-earned money, then its not bad actually to consider altcoins in your portfolio but only trust ethereum the most because it has no signs that it will fall the hardest way.

There is this cognitive aspect of the market psychology I'm trying to understand very well. In every bull run, there use to come sharp sell off 1 months before the halving because everyone believes that after the halving, it's expected of the market to crash. So I as I experienced last year, the market did collapse pre halving and regain confidence after the halving. My fear now is that since people know much about the market, what we are expecting might not be what will be happening, u hope you are ready for the worse if your plans don't come as expected.

You know the market usually make a parabolic movement and all of sudden crash, everybody is tired of this mental challenge and I think people are going to be careful henceforth as they have lost many funds in those previous coins, many things might happen and we need to be prepared for any call that comes after the halving just incase plans didn't work as expected.

My plan is to stick to bitcoin maybe at this time only the one coin will be maintained and not diversify to other altcoins even though the potential for a spike after halving will increase but I never know which coin might be able to say the top 10 altcoins on CMC will go back up, this is our personal opinion on altcoins.

You are looking for alternative investments have you kept a percentage of 50% for bitcoin at least it's better than nothing, or can do DCA on Etherium which can go up more than $4000 from ATH last year but if you do on some altcoins that are not yet known or have low capitalization then just avoid it more risky.

But my own investment will not look for alternatives except bitcoin.

The plan I have is almost the same as the plan you have. Namely continuing to do DCA and maximizing the capital I have to invest in bitcoin. I think as the Bitcoin Halving cycle and bull market approach, this method is the most important to continue implementing. Moreover, buying altcoins is also reliable. The reason is, the bull run market is always the peak of the increase in bitcoin and altcoin prices. Therefore, we must not waste this opportunity which only comes once every four years. So we should keep buying bitcoin, and there's no harm in owning altcoins either. However, the most important thing is to carry out a thorough analysis first, so that we can reduce the existing risks. Because there are lots of altcoins, and we don't know which altcoins will experience price increases. For this reason, a good analysis must be carried out.

I hope to invest more, there is this money that may come for new years, usually at 1st of January my wife receives a lump sum money from rent stuff, and if that could happen this year too then we are going to end up investing all of that into bitcoin hopefully. We had other plans to spend money on, but unfortunately for life, it turns out we can't do what we wanted to do and instead we will spend it on something else probably, but meanwhile until we are urgently in need of the money, we will end up investing it into bitcoin, and just hold it as long as possible. We do believe that it will go above the ATH price, 70k+ is not impossible and that means we could make so much more money from it.

Your plan is already solid. Just accumulate as much as possible while the price is still below ATH because it will surely break once holder becomes hype on the halving. My usual plan is sold every altcoin that I’m holding when last 2 months before halving while continuously DCA every week.

I’m currently trading on Altcoin to increase my fiat that I will use to buy more Bitcoin aside from my regular DCA using some of my profit from business. Cut expenses to save more fiat then buy more Bitcoin is the best plan for halving.

Good question, I don't have any plans yet because halving doesn't equate to bitcoin quickly going up in prices. If it ever comes to that, I would be comfortable enough to sell at the price that I've set to sell my bitcoins since I have a decent amount already and then get about 30% of the profit when I finally sell to use the money to buy some stuff that I need to buy for my house and then the other 70% would be staying my wallet because I plan to buy back into bitcoin because I know that it's not going to be going up forever and with that knowledge I will be waiting for when the price goes half of the next ATH or maybe even lower than that to get in again.

DCA. I doubt I'd stop since I'm planning to see first what happens a year after the halving itself. No big plans really with regards to Bitcoin itself, might look at some decent altcoins that could possibly pump though if possible. I don't have much extra to invest in others but could go pretty well if I manage to snag some good coins. Pretty sure that's what most people are planning to do anyway since most are expecting a jump at the halving point onwards.

In the two years that have really passed, I have learned to be honest, and I don't want to be left behind again. I don't want to be a spectator to the rise of cryptocurrencies in the market and Bitcoin.

That's why it's only this year that I started to really do the DCA so that I can accumulate potential coins that can also keep up with the rise of Bitcoin, such as Binance, Ethereum, and other cryptos that we think will be able to provide good earnings on the upcoming halving day itself now that we are really in a bullsih trend.

Plans vary depending on countries, regulatory status, and taxes. If your taxes are zero, you will often have freedom of movement to sell a portion of the currencies at levels between $100,000 and $200,000. However, if there are taxes on transactions or profits, you may have to make a single withdrawal.
The basic plan for the majority is to buy now and sell in 2025.

Everyone in now buying more and more because everyone trust that as bitcoin will surge so same will be the state of altcoins because all are a part of cryptocurrency and halving is a a beneficial event in crypto market. The price is also higher now a days but we should keep silent during this time because halving will create more positive circumstances in 2024.

I think that time (2024) will be the best time to sell our all altcoins and other coins.  Setting a target can help the holder to reap the benefit on time because if the price surge then people will not greed for more but will accept the target value for selling their asset.

Just stick to bitcoin accumulation while doing DCA. For me, that is the best option that I can rely to than to diversify my investment with some too good to be true altcoins but later on, they gradually lose their value and become shitcoins. That happens to me before and it only make me lose a lot so I'm not repeating the same mistake again and lose that huge amount.

But Im open to the idea that your investment will be a lot profitable if you can mix it with some potential altcoins, so you need to find the right coins to invest to avoid unnecessary losses.

I believe that after halving it's the time that crypto will make some significant run and this time is the best time to accumulate some gems. Actually if it hits $40k this time I'm thinking switching some of it to stables and take profit most in my portfolio as I firmly believe there will be some sort of correction and that's when the golden opportunity happens.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!

just keeping my coins and altcoins til the time is right for the picking. this time i will not gonna miss the big event. for a few months majority i think will wait patiently for the prices to hit the moon.

the cycle is just as what they always do. i think traders will also just sell and then wait again for another 4 year cycle. this is what is going to be happening over and over but different obstacles from regulations and another kind of adoption per cycle..

The halving could also lead to a surge in interest in altcoins.

Just like yours, doing DCA is the best thing. I am very optimistic that this upcoming bitcoin halving will definitely create big positive changes in my life that's why I'm always looking forward doing DCA continuously and sets bigger allocation for bitcoin investment as its the most profitable asset when bull run happens after bitcoin halving. Although there are also highly potential altcoins that may come up highly profitable as well, but nothing beats bitcoin when it comes to its life changing rewards.

While others focus on altcoins more than bitcoin, but still I suggest follow the DCA thing. DCA is not only limited for bitcoin but for potential altcoins as well.
We are all sharing up on the same motive and plans/goals for this upcoming bull run on which we are really that minding about being rich or become successful when it comes to financial aspect on which it would really be just that so normal that we would really be that focusing on bagging up on the coins on which we do seem that it would really be that could make those dreams come true. This is why if possible then
we are still on accumulation period even though the price is already climbing up high or becomes that expensive gradually then there would really be still corrections on which we could still have the chance to accumulate cheaper but of course the best time that you should have done that is on the time that people are into those extreme fear and doubts on which i do believe that it was 1-2 years ago where the price is
almost on the floor.

These are the moments or the times on which it is really that something that would really be the wisest idea to enter into the market but somehow
on the current market price it isnt really still that a bad entry either. It all matters on what are the coins you would really be holding and what are the steps
that you would be making on which it would really be able to determine your success but of course it would really be needing to have some luck either.
