Would go for binance also as my top choice. But it depends on what coin/s he wants to trade with. Some coins or tokens are not available in Binance. In this regard, he has no choice but use the exchanges where coins are listed with. But if it is major coin he is interested with, go for binance. Aside from very good liquidity, his funds are insured.

Imagine having to deal with a low-volume/ shady exchange just to trade some lesser-known coins.

Reminded me of the Bitgrail incident.

While Binance is being recommended by various users, keep in mind that you should not "trust" them. Don't leave your funds there if you no longer trade, there is no guarantee they'll be safe from a hack, or if there is a ToS change you might encounter some difficulties to get your money back.

If you want to do some arbitrage, Kucoin might be a good alternative. Keep the same principle.

What would be a good exchange mobile app to use for trading coins?
Coinbase, coinbase pro
Or blockchain, blockchain exchange
Or would you recommend something else?

I have not try trading on coinbase, and I know myself I wouldn't because their fees are too high ofor me.I prefer those exchanges that has small fees when it comes in trading ang withdrwals. I prefer Binance over all of the other exchange apps out there currently existing.

I'd go for Binance when it comes to crypto-to-crypto. High liquidity and the ability to withdraw using different blockchains to save on fees.

my first choice will be binance next is poloniex, these 2 exchanges are already here since I started crypto until now they are still standing, I encountered no issue with those exchange and transfer are fast with no hassle at all, also when it comes to fork automatically you will also receive the create coin from the fork so that's the good thing about, that is why these are my top two exchanges.

Blockchain is not a trading app, it is a wallet, but can be used for some trading and coin purchase but not an exchange. Out of all you mentioned, for exchanges, only Coinbase pro is valid. Only UK and American citizens are most commonly using this exchange, we that are not from such country make use of binance and some others, some can make use of others, but I have found binance to be a perfect exchange to use.

Before I joined this forum I used an exchange called BINANCE.
Haven't used the exchanges that you show here, although they are also among the best exchanges, in your opinion.

You have a country, of course in your country you have your own local exchange, if you know it, but if you do trade globally, You can turn a little bit to trade on Binance, the exchange is covered in security and is served in a professional manner.

This would depend on what qualities you are looking for in an exchange;
• Liquidity: for this you should go with a centralized exchange as they usually get more users and they list more coins than smaller exchanges, binance is a popular example. For your coinbase suggestion, they have had lots of issues with customer data in the recent past.
• Privacy: A centralized exchange can still work here as some allow non-KYC trades below certain amounts. Peer to peer platforms like bisq and hodlhodl are also recommended
• Reputation: Do your research on the exchange, their resistance to attacks, and their response before in cases of hacks and breaches
• Efficient service response

If you don't want to have a KYC like mk4 given why not try the binance all you need is just your email and phone number too for having some security for your account.

For non-KYC, you can withdraw about 2 BTC per day.

For non-KYC, you can withdraw 100 BTC per day.

Also want to add this for OP to to have an idea.

You can also add on the list safepal wallet app. It's a built in exchange wallet dapp. Also it can be connect to their hardware and exchange partners like Binance. I like this cause its an app that simply let you trade alternative blockchain projects using just an app and working like an atomic swap feature of dex and its also a non custodial.

Coinbase, Coinbase pro are strictly follow law regulations in the US. It is bad for now and future if you care about your privacy.

Blockchain has limited coins in the blockchain wallet and pair for your trades. You use their service but you almost won't get support to retrieve your accounts if you lose your wallet seed. Brute force to recover wallet is not for everyone.

Binance. @mk4 suggested it for you.

It is a centralized exchange but have very good support process and you are allowed to withdraw 2 BTC every day without KYC. Many trading pairs on Binance, with Spot, Leverage, Future tradings. About 1100 trading pairs are available on Binance (click on Load more from the coinmarketcap link)

Maybe give is more information? What coins do you want to trade?

I'm going to guess that the top recommendation would be Binance[1] though. Though they mostly don't require AML/KYC for smaller amounts of money, probably just be ready.
