So far I think this book is the best to understand bitcoins:Mastering Bitcoin: Programming the Open BlockchainJul, by Andreas M. Antonopoulos. Try to read it if you want to understand more about bitcoin.

While it's nearly twenty years old, preceding the inception of Bitcoin by 9 years, the book Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson (yes the same author of Snowcrash which foretold much of VR) is a great read. It tells parallel stories of cryptography in WWII and in the late 90s asian financial crisis.
It's a great way to get a handle on the core precepts of cryptocurrency and how the math works behind it.
Buying right now. Thanks!

Would love to hear what books you have enjoyed reading that have helped you understand cryptocurrency. Could be as specific as blockchain or ICO or as general as cryptography.
