As far as I'm concerned, you are hanging out too much for this decentralized issue. This is not today's subject! Satoshi has created a vision with a Bitcoin and the first Blockchain network! We are responsible for developing and supporting this. If everything moves forward in the future, we can all use decentralized methods.

I think all projects that are decentralized in the financial field can be useful. In addition, health projects in the blockchain network can bring great benefits. In the field of education we can revolutionize ... In every sector can be used blockchain. Let's just set our vision ...

I somehow agree to your statement but I might have different ideas related to what Blockchain Project do we need. The things that you stated are mostly related to the cryptocurrency blockchain, or what we call as payment coin. But in my humble opinion blockchain is bigger than just a tool to make cryptocurrency or payment coin. I mean we must be able to use blockchain to solve more fundamentals problem that are real-life problems like Food, Agriculture, Energy, and so on. But instead, we only focused what blockchain can be in the future with AI, Big Data, IOT, decentralized Economic System, Automation, etc, I mean it is not wrong. But we also have an actual problem that we faced today, like Starvation, Climate Change, that we might be able to utilize blockchain to solve it.

I like the Nebula AI project, artificial intelligence is the technology of the future, my opinion is that it is best to sell this product in the form of a cloud service, as they do. And in General, they have a very strong team, I believe in this project.

Guys, I really hope to meet significant P2P or Blockchain projects. I am a big fan of BitTorrent and BTC, I really enjoy IPFS idea of Filecoin. But what about others? I heard many projects talking about their speed, scalability, anonymity, but do we really need them? No one project has so many nodes as BTC, so all other projects are subject to attack. PoS consensus is centralized.  dApp Radar shows a couple of thousands of users at all. And so on. I will be happy if you will convince me that I am wrong. Please give the list of your favorite projects, why they are so unique and do we really need them. Thank you.
I think WPP is a project I really love and it was really successful when they sold 99.5% tokens. WPP is a project about the green energy industry and it is really useful for the future of the world.
There are now many people who use natural resources wastefully and often use them in less effective ways such as digging bitcoin. You can read more about WPP at Whitepaper and they really convinced me.

one project that I can think of which is badly needed and you can verify it by looking at the market is a "decentralized stable coin".

you may think we already have a lot of stable coins but none of them are capable of satisfying all 3 requirements of such a project:
1. be stable (obviously): many of them aren't stable really.
2. be a cryptocurrency, all are based on blockchain technology as far as I can tell
3. be decentralized: all of the so-called "stable coins" that I have seen so far have been centralized one way or another.

Do you really think stable coins could exist? We have no proves Tether is secured by real dollar assets. They promised to make regular audits, but we have no information about them.
I guess that stable coins will only exist if our governments will use them to secure fiat currencies like they are using gold right now.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

We need those factors that you mentioned but as for the 'blockchain projects'. Most of them just created a token that really has no use at all, it's a total waste of effort for the developers and waste of money for the investors. If there's a united community that will just support an entire focused coin such as bitcoin. These new projects will be out of the market quickly, why? there's no one who's willing to support and invest money to them which is their main focused.

If you are saying that POS is centralized and can you explain what's happening with ETC recently? Isn't getting centralized? Bitcoin is not centralized because the nodes is widely spreading around the world.
What about the tokenization platform?

I think that most or new projects want to become leader saying "fastest transactions, zero costs,etc..." but we really need them? I think not, there is Ethereum blockchain, NEO, EOS and Stellar for ICO projects,  BITCOIN for quite stability, Ripple for financials institutions, Tron for innovative IT services.... many privacy coins like Zcash Monero Verge Dash... do we really need others?
That's because they were attracting the traders to buy them while the traders are convinced to buy because they know this coin will be pumped.

I love the idea and concept behind Bitcoin and hoping to see another project that is truly decentralised and transparent.

Medical. I think that medical care is the most important area for human beings to break through. Medical care should quickly enter international development rather than selling high technical and service costs. The medical blockchain contributes to the spread of medical care worldwide. This is the most real value.

Hope to see real working dex that will allow trading every token we have on eth blockchain automatically.
Also want to see fair blockchain lottery. Everything I saw uses blockchain just to make money.

You are somewhat right. Most of the things new coins bring are, can or should be implemented into Bitcoin.

Imho privacy is important. While you should be able at any time to prove the source for all your funds, it's not normal that anybody that have sent you money once could know how much money you have in your wallet. In some cases this info "slips out" because the user doesn't know he should use different receiving addresses. But there are a lot of cases, from services publishing the same address for a certain use to fund raising/donation addresses where this can't really be avoided. Maybe someday Bitcoin will implement this. It should..

Another important thing would be platform for tokens. Yep, we also have counterparty, but for reason it .. fell behind, while Ethereum and its competitors seized the whole "market".

Probably dApps are important too, but I have not enough expertise in the field to give a proper opinion. However, maybe they could get into Bitcoin too someday.

As I said, many things can or should be in Bitcoin already. And this make - at least "on paper" - the altcoins worthless. But they are not.
That's because altcoins are still a great testing ground for various features, which maybe someday get into Bitcoin, which are best tested on separate (new) blockchain.
And that's because some competition is good and necessary. In outside world too there are multiple businesses on the same field too and it's good for the ecosystem. Would you like to see there's only macOS, only Windows, only Linux or maybe only Android? I guess not.

You were asking for a list. My favorites now are (after Bitcoin) Monero and Waves. I've kept an eye on Golem, but they seem to advance too slow. You may also like Stoej or Maidsafe.

NeuroticFish,
Thank you so much for such informative answer.
Your idea about "testing ground" is interesting. I never thought about it. But you are right. Each project goes its own way, and they catch different findings, which could be implemented to Bitcoin some day. Wow.
