Thanks for your feedbacks, I watch few videos on YouTube and it's true that 3050 RTX GPU sucks for mining, glad I asked on here too.

3050 RTX sucks for crypto mining, as new as the card is it can't stand the performance of old Polaris cards when mining, even the gtx 1060 6GB that no one wants this day are better by far.

The topic has already been discussed. RTX 3050 is a bad graphics card for mining, but maybe its price has already dropped and it is worth making a new calculation for investment.

Its profit is worse than the old AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB.

I don't know if you know this OP, RTX3050 are LHR, if you think otherwise you are wrong, so a GPU that's already a low end built and still LHR lock what much do you expect from such GPU? Weak Performance 100%, this card would have been a great one if 23MH is all it can output but power consumption is around 30watt, how insane would that be? But its another power-hungry GPU will less performance.

Nvidia's X50 or XX50 cards are known for not being good for mining or any heavy processing ( in heavy games, ML, ... ), take the GTX950, the GTX1050, the GTX1650 ...
They are budget options that are cheap and extremely weak compared to the higher end cards the XX60, XX70, XX80, XX90.

XX60ti cards are known for having good price/performance ratio, at least where I live. going lower to the XX50 is not a good choice. imagine an XX50 card plus LHR nerf, making the weak thing weaker. For these reasons I knew that the 3050 won't be useful for mining before it was released, and before knowing its specs.

One more thing XX50 cards are known to be cheap, and when reselling it you'll sell it only for a fraction of its brand new price (at least this is the case where I live).

Not good at mining + It doesn't retain its value like higher end cards = one of the worst deals

Ok thanks for the reply, the performance is just like buying a gtx1060 6GB which also gives 23MH at 70watt.

That performance is with partial LHR unlock up to 74% of the card capacity,it can go some Mhsh further if that miracle of further 100% LHR unlock happens, which is nowhere in sight now.If you use it without a miner that has no LHR unlock in place it just goes to a maximum of 13 Mhsh capacity. So the full power of this card if that 100% unlock happens should be at 29-30 Mhsh, same as an old Rx 570/580.

RTX3050 sucks for mining, you will get 23M from mining software and the GPU is using 75watt of power, I won't buy this card for mining even a gtx1660 is way better than this GPU.

Has anyone successfully built a mining rig with 3050 RTX? What can this graphic card do for mining crypto coins?
