You don't need to panic about that we would be dead by the time comes the last block that would be mined will be at " 2120+" as for our generation there is nothing to worry about.

Nothing would happen to the plant when the last block is mined still the same earth.

Since we're here, it could be interesting to discuss the hypothetical situation of Bitcoin fully mined. Would the price go up because of the lack of inflation or would the price go down because it can't be mined anymore? Maybe a fork takes over.

That's a great question, once fully mined and the 21 million attained, if inflation is not somehow eradicated and some other alt(s) haven't taken over the day-to-day transaction workload, I don't see how it couldn't continue to increase in buying power. This upper limit of coins is such an amazing concept compared to our world-wide acceptance of inflation and ever-increasing money supply. Then when we're all 200 years old, we'll only be talking about Satoshis...one full Bitcoin??? Come on, who ever could even conceive of that...

Till the time 21 million bitcoin limit have been mined technology will take new turns,there will advancement in block chain technology ,maybe new coins of good value competing the level of bitcoin came out , or bitcoin price is could become stable and crypto currencies will be accepted world wide if there will be no bans.nothing disastrous is going to happen to planet after limit is achieved.

We don't have to worry as no one from our generation will be alive in 2140 but the bitcoins will be there. If the demand for the bitcoins remain the same in 2140; then due to limited supply, the bitcoin value to be extremely high.

The price of bitcoin will continue to increase because everything will be out in the circulation while the demand continue to grow. Also many alt coins will also increase in value because if there is a lack in supply of bitcoin people will divert to other possible alt that is consider to be a good investment. Many thing can happen also I'm sure many hard fork will happen to introduce different alt to market the bitcoin community.

How do you guess what Hash Rate will be in Bitcoin's Mainnet beside "21 million Bitcoin limit"? How much electricity will be spent on mining?

Isn't the last bitcoin supposed to be mined sometime in 2140? I'm fairly sure bitcoin will not be around until then, so I wouldn't worry about it. We may even colonize another planet by then and leave earth completely

I'm asking that question because there have been altcoins that stopped being interesting after the proof-of-work phase stopped. Of course we have to consider Bitcoin is a class apart. Ethereum is going to be an interesting case, it's the number #2 coin and it's going to switch to proof-of-stake in our lifetime.
