What bitcoin can do today for tomorrow, is spare us from future devaluation (induced inflation). Thing is, people living in "nice" countries are unaware their coin can collapse overnight, they haven't experienced it, so its like it cannot happen to them. But they are very wrong, fiat can collapse overnight, since it depends on the very politicians everyone hates.
