bitcoin is going to nowhere but down!
lower and lower! the final capitulation incoming!

I don't know why you let this retard be. He's worse than Westboro Baptist Church or arabs killing in the name of Allah. Even those sometimes take a break.

Fallling has been proven to be a true prophet, many claim him to be a hero in here. Every trader is looking up to him!
Show me where you have been proved a prophet.

Fallling has atleast been a consistant dickass and has been shouting that bitcoin will go down. Even though i don't agree with his vision he has proven to be kind of right since we are in a long bear phase. All bitcoin bear phases are long so it"s easy being right. It is a matter of time until he is proven to be wrong, we hit a new ath, and we never hear his name again.

Like most things its not a single cause.  I would say:
  • Still coming down off a bubble from lots of get rich quick speculators.
  • Market cap and global trade volume still small enough to be easily driven up or down at will by those with lots of capital.
  • I think projects like Ethereum have people questioning the long term viability of bitcoin.  That project has taken in 28,000 bitcoins (@ $475 = $13.3M) over this time period.  So far they have liquidated about 3,500 bitcoins but that will create some down pressure as they cash out the rest of it.

Oh, what's up MatTheCunt, how it is going buddy? Tongue

Going awful but holding of course, I'm Bosnian, our balls are platinum. Though brain got damaged a bit today  Grin

You're Bosnian you say?

You're Fucking Skint more like!

And to think you could have had so much but now you have fuck all! You lucked out big fucking style but you fucking blew it! Luck is important in life. Infact I rate luck over brains but one has to apply at least a little bit of intelligence and critical thinking in life, don't you think?

"Studying technical analysis is bullshit. The key to being successful is to have balls!"
Seleme, circa Feb 2014.

Chin up though old chap! I am away off to find that post where you were rubbing your expansive Shitcoin portfolio in my face. I forget exactly why you were doing that....perhaps it was because I said I was bearish on Bitcoin or something. In total, I seem to remember the USD value of your Shitcoin's being a 6 figure sum in USD! But USD is irrelevant right!? Afterall, it is not how much USD one has in the bank, but how much crypto one has in his wallet! Crypto is the future, but only if you are smart enough to see it, like you were!

Edit: Stick your head in the sand for 18 months, and maybe your Bitcoin stash will come good, but these shit-coins! Man oh man! You are truly fucking screwed! Only a fucking retard could have seen any merit in the shit-coins beyond pump n dump. You are fucked! Sell your Shitcoins now! Go look at yourself in the mirror, and repeat after me:

"Having 'Bosnian Balls of Steel' does not compensate for being thick as fuck!"

Edit 2: FOUND IT! Seleme's Shitcoin portfolio circa March 2014 (Cryptsy not included cos he didn't want to reveal what juicy investments he was making)

Of course I'll buy more alts, buying alts is what brought me here when most thought they're done. Buying blood is where money is Matt, there's no much money when everything tastes as chocolate Cheesy

I have read in the forum that the drop could have been caused by ethereum devs cashing out.

No, the volumes dumped across the exchanges comparative to the withdrawals of the Eth address (which is public) do not align.
The selling has been concentrated at btc-e and bitfinex as evidenced by the slight discount that these exchanges have verses the other exchanges. What is likely happening is people are selling their BTC on these two exchanges and people are attempting to arb by selling on other exchanges and buying equal amounts on btc-e and bitfinex, they are not able to be 100% effective due to the slow time-frames it takes to deposit money into both of these exchanges.

the price rising was caused partially by the Gox bot buying things up.  Now there's no more artificial fake buying, volume and interest dry up and we get a correction.

Common sense...  Roll Eyes

What caused the drop in 1980?

Can someone answer to this question?

The answer is obviously: the stages of a bubble.

Still, these are early days.

Early days? Bitcoin is almost six years old. When are the early days over, do you reckon? And what will BTC price look like when they are?

This. Ethereum likely added some downward pressure, but this is not their baby.

Morons.

that about covers it.

whomever that guy was that dumped 10k coins on btc-e obviously did not obtain them above a $350 costbase...
Assuming that person spent any money at all on those 10k coins. There have been multiple hostile thefts of BTC by the legitimized forces of violence (AKA state gunmen), to say nothing of the hackers, scammers, and Mark Kerpales of the world who obtained their Bitcoins illegitimately.

Morons.

that about covers it.

whomever that guy was that dumped 10k coins on btc-e obviously did not obtain them above a $350 costbase and obviously didnt have the brain power to cash out at any of the previous high's.

basically anyone selling while bitcoin is at a low is considered either moronic or just desperate to go back to the paper money. and im truly glad that they are no longer holding bitcoins.

good riddance to that moron, atleast we can now look forward to all of the fresh buyers getting the cheap coins, and hope they are smarter to not sell at a loss in the future, to help re-inforce market resistance points to prevent sheeple/morons causing too many of these events.

So what's the concensus?
Speaking as an extremely intelligent person, I'm afraid I couldn't begin to guess at the motives of the extremely stupid.

It boggles my mind how anyone still values the dollar worth a damn even more than it boggles my mind that people haven't figured out high precious and undervalued Bitcoin is.

Still, these are early days. The end result is easily predicted for those with a cursory understanding of the principles of mathematics who also possess strong pattern recognition abilities.

Here, this will help you understand: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qHUPPYzzZrI

This is the question that no one can answer with sure. Some say that August things are not good in all investment world, other because of some altcoins, or that we are under manipulation.

No big fall this year worried me, because all of them had some clear reason, until now. Prices falling without reason is a strong sign we might be bursting a bubble.
