they advertised that BANCOR is a F**** decentralize exchange.
and a decentralize exchange still can be hacked like that, when there were so little people used it at that time!
a decentralize exchange can not, CAN NOT change the money in user's wallet cause it's their own wallet, they had nothing to do with. so nearly can't be hacked

I sometimes suspect that the alleged hacks are really a product of some internal plot of the exchange to grab some nice tokens and blaming the hackers for it. I don´t know if that is the case.

Perhaps we should already get used to it. That when the market grows and shows good growth. Then it breaks out one of the exchanges and the market falls. At the moment, very few people know how to deal with this.

bancor as one of the famous exchange market and today hacked is something of a surprise, I think bancor is being hit by very professional hackers. why bancor hacked, for the moment I have not got the information.

There are vulnerabilities but once any platform hacked there is little chance of catching hackers or saving stolen money.

Hackers hacking the cryptocurrency market is a common occurrence and I am not surprised about the Bancor hack at all. Have been hearing about a lot of hacks recently, but none of this fazes me since I have gotten used to hearing such news. Also, I usually don't panic due to such news and focus on HODLING my coins and tokens for a long period of time until they reach an optimal value after which I sell them.

Yes, even I have heard about this hacking news a few days back from social media platforms and through this forum. This is one of the reasons why the bitcoin prices are going down and i think hackers are really manipulating the market from past few months because this is not the first time hackers have hacked the exchanges. Previously you would have heard of Bithumb, Mt. Gox, and many other exchanges got hacked from the hackers and so kindly don't keep all your coins in one exchange.

Did hear about the hack few days ago. The market of crypto currency shouldn't be affected cause as far as i know bancor had some security measures where they were able to freeze the stolen fund and transfer those funds from the hackers wallet to back to safety. Though this measure did bring up doubt on the investors mind about how "semi-centralized" they are.

It looks like there wasw a vulnerability being discovered from the bancor network and remember the developer has the ability to frozen the hacker's amount. They have done to block all of the bancor token that has been stoled by the hackers.

In my opinion that could be not hackers but developers themselves. Because if it is possible - to hack decentralized exchanges - it is serious punch on people's hope in crypto security

I think because hacker see that cryptocurrency world has very good potential in the future so they're trying to get as much as good cryptocurrencies as possible but they don't wanna spend too much time to work or invest to earn cryptocurrency as usual so they go to hack them from large exchanges like Binance or Bancor

Unfortunately such people (hackers and simply dishonest persons) penetrate into all spheres. With this there is nothing to be done. We have to be constantly ready for anything.
