Use this......  https://www.whattomine.com

I am currently fliting between eth and feather depending which is top of the leader board. However, what is left of the CPU power on the rig is being used to mine Groestl.

So 2 coins on 1 rig!

is it not named 2 girls 1 cup ?

The market volume is the Feather coin is quite small. Can you sell your feathercoin easily on the market?

what's the major difference between the coins mentioned above and ethereum, other than the current profitability ratios?

For the miners, only the profitability matters. They are different coins with different mining algorithms as far as I know.

Is the Ethereum still the most profitable coin to me? I notice the price has already dropped below 10 dollars.

Ethereum is the only coin for me to mine. It is the most profitable to mine for the foreseeable future.

Ethereum was a good coin to mine before the recent crash. But it is not the best now, the Eth price is too low.

to mine eth and dcr with the dual miner.

I mine the Etheruem, but not the Decred. My electricity price is high and I am limited by the power in my house.

I think 5850 is good for Decred(DCR)

It is OK for Decred, but it is less efficient than the 7900 or later cards as it is less efficient and use more energy.

Thank for all the replies. Does anyone know if it's possible to overcome lack of ram on gpu for ethereum by linking cards in crossfire?
Would that make a difference and enable me to mine ethereum then, with CF on , or it would not make a difference. The cards are 1 gig ram each

No. You need at least 2GB cards for the Etheruem mining. Anything less than that will not work in Ethereum.

Can anyone suggest me what coin to mine with some old GPU's i have laying around ? I tried to mine ETH but it seams that 1 GB of gpu memory is not enough
to start the miner. Are there any other profitable options ?

tyi : the cards i have left are 5850's , i know they're old, but i still think they have some kick in them   Cool

You can mine the X11 coins. Or the coins based on the SHA256, but with some modification. That could be profitable.
