Ledger Nano S is one of the famous and secure wallets nowadays. It supports so many coins, they added the coins one by one which makes its user comfortable. Now recently they added zen in Ledger Nano S. It covers most if the coins in the coinmarketcap. Ethereum, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Vertcoin, Ripple, Litecoin, Stellar, Viacoin, STRATIS, Qtum, Komodo, XRP, Zcash. At present these coins are supported by Ledger Nano S. Now it is moving forward to create desktop wallet.

I just checked which coins could be added next to Ledger Nano S, and there are about a dozen of them which are in progress/external developmnet. Some of the most interesting are Cardano, Monero, Lisk , Iota, Nano (ex. RaiBlocks), Peercoin and few others. So when Ledger add more coins and release desktop wallet (should be soon), it will be great hardware wallet with biggest coin support.

According to my knowledge i know some of the coins suppoted by Ledger Nano S. This wallet is now familiar among bitcoin users. Most of the coins in the coinmarketcap can be supported by this wallet. Coins are Ark, Bitcoincash, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, Dodgecoin, XRP, Zcash, STRATIS, Viacoin, Stellar, Qtum, Komodo. These are the coins now supported by Ledger Nano S. In future many coins are added in this list.

There are more and more coins added to the Nano Ledger every month. The latest coin is ZEN. Now they have upgraded their soft so that they can used shared libraries for similar coins which makes it possible to keep more wallets on the Ledger without having to install/remove them each time. Still, I think they should have put more memory in the Ledger for the very start.
Yeah, I was happy to see they added zencash, there is just another coin I am waiting to see now...

Now they have upgraded their soft so that they can used shared libraries for similar coins which makes it possible to keep more wallets on the Ledger without having to install/remove them each time. Still, I think they should have put more memory in the Ledger for the very start.

The capped memory is for security reasons (ledger claims).
But this indeed makes sense.

With 320 Kb flash and 10 Kb RAM there is not much room for malware.
Especially if you already have installed a few applications the remaining space shrinks to 100-200 Kb.

I'd rather have only 3-5 apps installed (with the ability to uninstall/install them anytime; like it is now) than having space for all applications which does impose another risk.

Clever I would say, I have never think about it

Both of those explorers seem to show the same transfers? BAT and RAC tokens...

Not sure what the issue is? Perhaps the first explorer was just a bit slow?

yes but it took more 24h to appears in ethplorer.io/
and the bat appeared on ethplorer.io/ of old adress
now it ok, still dont know why but no matter

it is normal, sometimes certain explorers do not display transactions at all
or have big delays, like in your case
it causes panic, especially among new bitcoin/etherium users, when they cannot see their transaction on the network
but it comes up sooner or later and sometimes you have to switch to a different explorer (or try 3-4 different ones) to see it

I suspect you'll find that you can send tokens to the address from the Nano S, but you can't interact with them via the Nano S (ie. won't be able to see the balance or send them out).

The Stellar support is relatively limited. There is no "Ledger Wallet Stellar" Chrome app for instance... you need to use one of the web wallets, and set the Stellar app on your Nano S to "Browser Support - YES". Then it will be able to read the public key, and send transactions to the Nano S to sign. I'm not even sure how many of the Stellar wallets include Ledger support. The only one I've used it with is the "Account Viewer" here: https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#!/

Clicking on the "Ledger" logo on the wallets page (https://www.stellar.org/lumens/wallets/) indicates that Ledger supports "Web and Desktop"... so it *might* work with the Desktop wallet, but I've not tested it.

since ledger nano S support stellar token. Does that mean any token that is built on stellar would be able to be stored in my nano s?

Jerry... I admire your thirst for knowledge... but how about you actually go visit the Ledger support site and read ALL the articles they have there: https://ledger.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

Almost ALL of your queries about the Ledger are likely to be answered there.

For instance, the supported coins one links to the ERC20 token list: https://ledger.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005439585

Hi thanks for that information.  Could you store all these coins on it or is there some limit?  I recalled someone said there is a limit but then you need to delete a wallet?

Is the list you posted the erc20 coins or not?  What is the list of the er20 coins?
