The coins which are bottomed and having a good support at their lowest price of all time. There are many tokens like that which have reached their bottom support and its near to impossible for them to go below that.
Cheaper ones at the price peak of 0.001 or 0.002$ ,and few that has gain ground toward there roadmap ,coins like electroneum ,hologen, sarpien , this coins are pretty cheap now and it will bring good profit on the long run ,another one I'd recommended is Apollo and ripple.

Well the only altcoin that I'm willing to invest and hold for long term is Ethereum. I'll buy as much as I can right now especially it is way more affordable than before. Will wait for the price rises again and that's the time that I will sell it for huge profits.
I think to buy Cardano (ADA) is a good decision for long-invest. Because have the great team of academics behind Cardano project and the team has done diligent work to ensure that Cardano has everything needed to be a major force in the future. And then buy Stellar (XLM), Zilliqa (Zil), and Holo (HOT).
In this market, I believe and choose to buy the coin: LTC, EOS, ETH, ADA, NEO ... I trust the profit that the Altcoin I choose will bring.

Yes you are right I too will give priority for the top 10 altcoins as this always focussed by the investors. Profit and loss are part of trading. Sometimes we have to sacrify which means we need to hold the coins in this situation. Do not hurry and plan for selling.

I am just buying bitcoin, there are not a lot of coins that I trust and since I am investing to hold for a very long time I am making sure that I am investing in coins that I can be sure that they will be here for the long term. If you want to be buying doge now at the moment, I would say you should be a bit careful. Although, recently doge has really made a serious move amidst all the market downtrends and just keep beating the odds and at this point still trying to challenge the last ATH. How far it goes is left with time, but usually, this is not a coin you really want to be holding for the long term as it has no development and like you said, it is simply just a joke. DOGE coin is a joke coin but with a real value in the market. They are worth to buy and hold in this dips market in my opinion.

Right now, seeing that there is nothing much that I can do regarding this low market and the only wise thing left to do is to buy the coins now that they are cheaper, I have decided to stock up my wallets with coins I have always had eye for, but couldn't afford cos of the extremely high prices. Bitcoin is still my bet. It has the most potential to increase bigger percentage sooner compared to the other coins in the top 20. Bitcoin has the tendency to decline big and to climb up strong. Who never knows what might happen with its value? Just like yesterday, less than an hour it climbed up 6%. Now, wait for the bull run this year.

Also consider the possibility that this correction will last a while and we could have a full-on crash, sending BTC prices to maybe 5K. Infrastructure, exchange, payment, storage tokens. I think there is where the future is. We will need blockchain to evolve, became safer, faster, more user-friendly and I think those tokens and their platforms are going to achieve just that.
