Not very surprise of that SHIB because everyone who is updated to where the bullrun could go had been seeing its rise. Some of those who thought its a bit late to buy SHIB before the end of year 2021, was not buying. But the early birds got more than what they expect.

The unexpected gain I have last 6 years was Dogecoin as I was gambling with it for more than 6 years which I still have left thousands of it on yobit account. I just hurriedly recover my account to dump my Doge without waiting for its price to go ATH. Glad I did.

I don't think I've ever really earned 100x because my biggest income was only 10x from IDO at that time. I have made huge profits in the last few years giving 100x many coin returns from crypto but now it is very difficult to get good returns due to declining prices of currencies. It is a good idea to wait until the price of the currency rises altcoins are good for investing, you have to hold on to them without selling them.

100x profits is quite unrealistic no matter how we look at it, because even if you happened to select the right coin you would need to keep holding that coin for long enough to see those profits, and if people cannot do this with bitcoin, which is the best coin available, then what are the chances they do this with an altcoin?

So people need to aim for something more realistic which they can actually get, 5x to 10x is realistic and it is way higher than what you can get on average on other markets, but people are not looking for those opportunities, as the capital they are investing is small and such gains are probably not enough to produce a change in their lifestyle.

Since everyone talks about coins they invested in years ago. Here, my most recently 100x would be LUNA (or LUNC now) back when it drop to 0.00000x price and later turn to 0.000x
Tho I got lucky and didn't sell it cheap after all the other bad news like Binance didn't allow trading it. Please don't blame yourself for you missing the chance of holding Doge. Yes, everyone at least has some Doge in their bag back in the day when it was cheap and we treat it as a meme coin, a joke. No one can really foreseen how it become today.

really no one will know about doge with 100x increments. many people regretted it about the doge holders releasing the lower price, I also felt sorry to see the doge prices soar which made me imagine last year still holding 3 million doge. but all have lessons for all. There are many people who dream of 100x returns and it should motivate others to invest in coins worth looking forward to - which is basically just bitcoin for crypto. Most altcoins fail the long term test of stress because they lack the intrinsic market making capability, unable to use the altcoins for the service which leads to a natural burn of tokens and scarcity.

Still the top 5 have been good, keeping aside and forked coins.

Now that you mention it, I too, actually have had Doge quite a lot back then, and when doge price pumped quite hard last year, I was like, bruh, what would I have became if I were still have them. Sadly, yeah, it's kinda depend on your luck. When you wish for something to pump so hard, but what happened was otherwise and vice versa.
So, I haven't made any that big amount of profits, yet, hopefully I will. But it always motivated me to see that some people are able to make that huge of profits. Makes me think that I might be next.

100x is a bit of a stretch, ETH was around 80 bucks, and the peak was 4k, so that is give or take x50 and that is the biggest altcoin in the world and still managed to make that much. BNB was around 20 bucks ans reached 70+ and that is close to 50x as well but not there just yet a bit under x40 to be precise.

So, I am guessing that the huge ones can't make x100 but they did as well as you could hope for, anyone who bought at the bottom of the 2018 period and held it until 2021 then those people would be getting richer super a lot. By this logic if you invested 10k into ETH and 10k into BNB alone and nothing more, you would have 800k+ profit, and those are the two biggest names.

The illusion that you will make 100x on a certain coin is what gives no proper profit while 2x, 5x and even 10x profits are possible - which when done 50,20,10 times respectively ends up giving you 100x profit - it is a simple math.

What I mean to point out is that bitcoin has shown similar profit multiplication over the last few years several times. You may not be able to catch every one of them but you should be able to catch most of them and hence end up with a 100x profit in a staggered manner. It is a long term game and short term hype-based coins that have no underlying value will only give you pain and not profit.

100x? As in 10000%? I have yet to make such an amazing investment, however it seems to me that any investment that could go to 100x in 99.99% of all cases does not go to 100x. Rather to 0.01x if you're unlucky. Its too much risk involved so maybe thats why I have never really seen even one of my altcoins in my portfolio go to 100x but thats only because I go for low risk high reward coins only. Those usually are not new but have been established for a longer time period.

Like someone buying SHIBA and getting 4K percent hike was possible few months back. So I would not be surprised if someone says I have made profits like that. 6 years is definitely too long to predict what will happen in such a young market. It should rather be considered which projects have a chance to survive such a time, and not whether you can earn 100x on them. If you want to buy some crypto and just forget about it for a few years, in my opinion only btc, eth and bnb are worth considering.

Nobody knows 100x never materialize what I have in my wallet but this is too long I won't be able to do this with 6 years time it's long enough.

But for me Btc, Eth, Bnb provide quite a large profit before and even then I have taken profit even though the price keeps going up but I don't want to take the risk because the profit must be taken immediately if it is enough in my opinion.

However, altcoins that have become hype have averaged 100x.

The coin or token has utility
The team is real, honest and capable
The tokenomics are good
The project has solid financial backing

What I can remember is maybe the last 2 years I held doge and meme coins that were on the sol network, because I don't remember everything for sure in 2021 sol memes got 100x profit at that time. but unfortunately at this time the proceeds of these tokens are losing a lot of value which will be difficult to grow back into ATH, and luckily I have sold all of them.

I didnt reach a 100x gain like other investors but Bitcoin and Eth are my coins who gave me huge profit for the past years. I bought Btc and eth during dip and managed to sell last bullrun.

Last year I also made profit to a token called FEG during the hype of meme coins. I was able to sell it when the price skyrocket and its a good thing that I already exit before the price plunged. Though I still have this token in my wallet if ever the price went up again.

Altcoins are the best when it comes to doubling your profits. They boost your port folio positively only if you know the right coin to store. Although in the last 6 years, Bitcoin and Ethereum have really come a long way. Bitcoin and Ethereum are mostly pairing, because they pumped and dumped together. But other altcoins differs their movements, they pump and dumped steadily. Perhaps the only profits I made on an altcoin was Shiba Inu back then. It cancelled more 3 zeros frontward, that made got 3x of my capital and balance my portfolio higher than I could imagine.

Overall i would say BTCitcoin gave me the profit throughout my investment even though i sold much bigger portions of my holding back in the first two rallies and then it would be Ethereum as i was able to enter during the ICO phase and even though i sold majority of the portion at $10, i made a substantial profit last year when i sold off majority of my holdings. Frankly I never got that much return in single shot! What I means is it’s possible my portofoon risen to 100x over 6 years but I never kept hold on to the coins straight for years. It was always buy sell cycle. This made me increase the number coins rather than increasing the fiat value itself. However, over the period fiat value also risen and took no time to raise the value since I had bulk coins and bought at way basic rates. But 100x in single over 6 years, that’s negative mate.

I got profit from bitcoin, dogecoin, etc, eth and bnb. But my biggest profit still comes from bitcoins because I sold most of the bitcoins I had when the price hit $68k yesterday. Although not the highest price but I'm very satisfied. That satisfaction is increased by getting other benefits from other altcoins.
