So which exchange works the best for Colombians, considering that the fiat money withdrawals and deposits in the exchange account are made directly from the local Colombian bank account?

Any useful information and comments are welcome!

I just ran a quick search  and from the result I obtain, "Binance is the most popular Bitcoin exchange in Colombia with 170,000,000 users".

Binance is one of the big tire one exchange and it is very know in most countries, I even believe that it's also one of the popularly used exchange in my country.

Another exchange you can try is Kraken.

Well said, I will also advice for Binance first since its the one topping others on the list of the best and most recognized centralized exchanges, secondly, you may also considers Bybit, its also one of the reputable and global exchange you can consider among so many others i may not want to start their mentions, but never forget the risk in using these exchanges as they are centralized and you're not having the keys to this exchange wallets provided to you because they are custodial exchanges wallets.

Don't experiment with smaller local exchanges just stick to the top tier exchanges and I would recommend Binance as it's been trusted globally and I have even checked it's pretty famous amongst Colombians as it has wide range of coins listed and also has everything which you look in an exchange be it P2P or not grid or staking an moreover it has already faced numerous challenges and still the number one CEC hence we can trust Binance.

For such questions, Op can ask in locally because in this section there, are people from across the world and maybe you won't get an efficient answer from the local section they can explain well, which service is best in your locality as they are well aware of the legal circumstances and on the high node, they are using those services from a long time and have a history with them.

Most of people state big names here like  Biannce etc, but are they good enough, you can find out the answer in local section.

I want to recommend that name too even though I am not from Colombia. While reading the OP's topic, I also did something similar and the name Binance came up which could be used by the OP although in this there are several other exchanges.

In my country, Binance exchange is also very famous for crypto traders even though there is a local exchange. From the results of a quick search, it turns out that Binance is also very popular there in Colombia. The question is, are they operating as a licensed exchange there? If not, be careful. Must follow developments at all times to avoid closure as happened in several countries where Binance was forced to close due to licensing problems.

The most comprehensive list of cryptocurrency exchanges can be found on https://coinmarketcap.com/ru/rankings/exchanges/, giving preference in the order of the ranking. It is possible that some of these exchanges may be banned in your country, but you will be able to find out during the registration process.

So if anybody has been using Kraken or Binance would give some comments how smooth it has been with these exchanges ?
I have been using Kraken for a very long time and would definitely recommend the service. I have never had any problems with Kraken in terms of fees or the duration of deposits and withdrawals, even for larger amounts.

However, the exchanges all require KYC, so you have to be aware of that. To be honest, I don't know of any exchange that allows larger amounts to be paid out in FIAT and doesn't require KYC.

Seems Binance have been global exchange market and the user come from all countries around the world, I think with feature P2P exchange and the user in Colombia more than 170K its not difficult for selling fiat or cryptocurrency assets trough P2P. Usually all countries have own local exchange currency with trading pair more dominance their local fiat but I don't know more with Colombia are there have support with local exchange currency or not.
Binance and Kraken are the best exchange market global option with P2P exchange feature help us to sell fiat each other community and we don't scared how to withdraw our cryptocurrency assets although with some countries not support yet with local exchange market.

Since millions of Columbian crypto users are using Binance services, I think that it's safe to say that it'll be most preferable for the OP, let him decide between it and Kraken, I'm not from Columbia, and I don't know the data of people that use Kraken, there, but from what I know, I'll go ahead with Binance, because they're the number one rated exchange in the world. Also consider that Binance p2p is very convenient, I believe that you can easily find marchants that you can transact your crypto with, but let him beware of scammers, always confirm that money has been paid into your fiat account before releasing your coins.

As what @Dr.Bitcoin_Strange has already said, Binance should be your pick because they're a really good CEX, really secure for a CEX and they're already being used by thousands of Colombians already so when you want to sell or buy bitcoins or any other crypto, you're going not going to have a hard time finding someone that would buy or sell crypto and it's really safe to do so. Just check though if the options in their P2P have the bank that you're looking for a part of the payment option, it's rarely to see the bank that you're looking for to be not listed though.

And as the others have pointed out, KYC is a thing for these exchanges so you might want to consider if you want to comply with giving your identity, it's a double edged sword that would help make sure that the people you're having a transaction with aren't going to scam you and on the other hand, it means that you're giving your information to the exchange which is bad especially with how easy it is to breach the database for the information of customers which has been done on tons of websites already.

Most of the exchanges are asking for the KYC but if you are not interested in this then please go ahead with these two which are working for years and having no issue and KYC is also not required for these exchanges in Columbia.

Anyone can be selling/buying without KYC here on these sites any time.

So if anybody has been using Kraken or Binance would give some comments how smooth it has been with these exchanges ?

Smoothness can be dependent on each case since some accounts get flagged under kyc/aml policies. I suggest to also take into account your aimed used cases.

BTW, if you wanna hear opinions from fellow locals, perhaps you could find a couple in Español (Spanish) local board -- quick search returned spanish as the most spoken language in the area.
