Some altcoins are much faster that Bitcoin in term of making transactions. Moreover it is very difficult for Bitcoin to conquer some altcoins in such parameter as scalability. Bitcoin Cash looks like more technologically advanced.

I am not sure that altcoin will outpass bitcoin because I think each of altcoin has different function and it's only a small part function that is already bitcoin has. I think people choose altcoin to help them to make more bitcoin because people know that the altcoin have a big list and they have a big chance to make a profit in bitcoin. and if they can collect much of bitcoin, they can sell the bitcoin if the price of bitcoin is increasing and they can use it for buy another altcoin.

I dont think altcoin out pass bitcoin in any ways because the altcoin are still trade against bitcoin and they also follow the protocols led by bitcoin creator but the aspect where altcoin only out pass bitcoin was in terms of transaction/network fee and they get the idea from what other developers said we cause bitcoin for Bitcoin in future.

Yes, you are partially right. There are many sides through which it might appear that altcoins provides for benefits than Bitcoin. But in the long run, Bitcoin is safer and provides you with more benefits.

Altcoins provide a specific purpose for their coin like, some are used as crypto banks, some for particular payment for specific areas like travels, hotel, and accommodation. Perhaps yes there's a chance that some alts can outpass bitcoin. Unless if some of big holder on bitcoin jump to another alt to collaborate the progress of the project. there are serious trade off's for any project that improves on certain areas of btc.........there are zero alts with clear advantages without clear disadvantages

I think the right altcoins can offer more in terms of profitability than bitcoin would in the long term. an outcoin with a value $0.1 that becomes $1 is a 10 folds increase, I dont think we are going to see 10 folds increase in bitcoin anytime soon.

Some new altcoins may exceed Bitcoin in many ways. But! 99% of them are all just on paper and they do not have what Bitcoin has - the time that he went through. Therefore at the moment I think there are no direct competitors yet

First and foremost, altcoins is way cheaper compared to btc that's worth thousand of bucks. Investors are just being practical. Fee is also cheaper and faster. I also saw in one thread that for him/her altcoin trading is more profitable as that guy makes more profit on altcoin trading. I see altcoins are giving more profit these days. They are having low values and you can make more investment in terms quantities of the coin. I mean look at the math here. When you invest your thousand dollars in the bitcoin then you get specific amount of satoshi's and when the spiking occurs for the bitcoin then the interest that you get in return is very less as the value is giant for the bitcoin. When same thing is done for the altcoins then you can get numerous quantity of the altcoin itself and when they hike then your ROI increases as well. So I believe that altcoins are better investment than the bitcoin.

Yes, many altcoins have better features and advanced technologies compared to Bitcoin. But I think BTC is not going to be replaced as #1 because it has the name.

Bitcoin is the market leader. That’s why altcoin follow bitcoin but bitcoin don’t follow altcoin and it also depends on the projects position in the market. If they are good in the market then they will declare offer.
