I think it needs to become mainstream by making the public and government understand crypto's advantages and importance in our daily life. Cryptocurrencies were made for easier transaction, extra added security and transparency in exchange. If everyone realizes that and government can find a way to back this up it would be revolutionary step for everyone involved.

I think now the main mission is to clear the crypt industry from scammers, because now there's a lot of them here. Also, the important problem of crypto currencies is security, because every day hackers steal crypto money from ordinary people.

Cryptocurrencies need the full support of the government, that they would get an official status. Then large investors will come to the market.
that's true, if cryptocurrency have enough support from the government, it might evolve exponentially, but there are some chances that government might take advantage of using it for their own benefit.

People who are more patient and are willing to hodl their coins especially when it is a good one. It is sad to see that at this point, people are still not sure of what the market holds for them, and just panic at every given opportunity. It would be best if people became more patiemt with their coins, and not just dump them at every given opportunity.

Cryptocurrencies need only one thing - easy user experience. They are way too complicated for now at the application layer. The friction to buy and use them is so huge in a world where we are used to doing everything with two taps on our smartphones.

the stability of the value of that to this day is still far away and has not been found in crypto. market volume was missing since a few months ago also made the market being sufficiently bad that surely this makes prices go down. When it was back then could be raised will return the value of the market and certainly will be good for every trade.

it probably needs stability and growth
dependence from the whales and ability to to function as a fiat unit for the world , individual and the nation as well

Its a long process, but we can hope crypto currency gets better and better with varying improvements.

From my point of view cryptocurrency need more activity to reach people. Although crypto accepted by some big companies but there are lot of company and country till now accepting crypto. So more positive initiative to make them understand that it’s good for future economy.
Still there are so many things which these crypto currencies need to have in order to make a better standing in the international market like that of more awareness amongst the people, legalization of the crypto currencies, recognition by the government officials, acceptance of the crypto currencies at different places and many more. This will take a lot of time for these things to happen.

I think business models are one of the main reasons why crypto is taking too slow in adoption. Some coins are promising a lot of things yet, we do not realize our benefit in using their token. For us to be a able to look into it, it must first answer a specific problem which is very essential for us. I think in this manner, projects will rethink on how they should offer crypto as a product for us to participate and use that product.

So these tokens lack a concept of growing. Grin
Because most of the time these tokens don't have any space to use, they need to be destroyed regularly to keep the market growing.

Probably I would like to have a global and United exchange platform when I would be able to exchange any token to any token, without a need of searching all those hundreds of different exchanges to just sell my tokens there.

The technology of cryptocurrency is still not perfect, and it is not supported by the government, so many people do not trust the industry. I believe that it is slowly progressing and believe that it will lead an era in the future.

i think cryptos are already perfect but the only problem is that many people are still not aware with this kind of currency because this currency has only existed online . cryptos only need a publication , so that its demand will somehow increase and hopefully  all governemnts and countries will now support it in the future .

I think cryptocurrency needs recognition from all countries in the world to make it more stable and to attract more investors. Also, to make them feel a bit secured.

Security is one of the issues that need to be settled. That is what the market needs.

being popular does not mean cryptos are already secured . sure there are still a risk , if you are not careful enough to handle your cryptos . popularity cant also cure the volatility of cryptos , infact , cryptos will become volatile if it is indemand .

Probably the need to increase the security features. This is something that has been bothering many investors for some time now. It's a pretty tough task but if it can be done, that'll greatly help the crypto community as a whole.

First of all, there is insufficient protection of users and investors. And the annual statistics is a confirmation.
We can lose money on the ICO, on the exchange, on your wallet. That's the main problem.

In my own opinion, I think crypto currency needs to improve on the security, I am thinking if it could be possible to implement a second level authorization in the blockchain so that when someone hacked and gets your private, they will need to pass second authorization. I believe this will make cryptos more secured.

fluctuations remains a problem that gives rise to an excess of panic investors. This became a major problem up to now difficult to faced and solved. This makes the loss of volume in the crypto market large enough to certainly also resulted in declining prices in crypto.

In my own humble opinion, I think currencies need some form of stability in the market, the crypto market is still so volatile and this makes it so risky for investors to enter easily, you can see a coin losing almost 90% of it's value in just a matter of minutes or hours.

There are some big problems. First of all i just hate the pump and dump staffs. It really makes the market unstable. Then filtering garbage projects is also quite difficult which should be considered. And i also expect higher transaction speed.
I strongly agree with what you say, many big pumps that always disrupt the stability of the market, and the results make everyone lose, the scam in ico also it annoys me hope it all can be resolved quickly and have a solution, because it is very disturbing.

It purely needs, a bit of government’s support. There is demand for cryptos and it’s a fast and safe mode of transactions. It definitely has a likeliness to become a mode of transaction alongside fiat money.

The only problem associated with the crypto currencies is that, they are sometimes related to scams. Once that clears up, then this will be a flawless system. It is a long shot, but this is not an impossible task to perform.

The answer is in your question only. They don't have stability or they are very volatile and what we need in them is the less volatility and more stability. This can make them more or less usable in the real world or at least on the platform where they are being considered as utility token. Without any use these coins or crypto currencies will be dead by few years. But to make them usable the stability is necessary. Next we will need a system which can be used to easily transact between the real world products and services and the virtual stuff. I guess this is sufficient enough to shape the future of crypto currencies.

Perhaps the biggest problem with crypto is global support or legality. But if crypto starts getting it, I do not think there will be anything interesting to make it fluctuate. So let's keep crypto still like this.

At present we have a lot of "raw" projects without products. So it is the main problem for criptocurrency - quality of project idea realization
And the big question is about how much experience that has been reached by the developer of project itself. Remember it will support all of the technical problems. There was a lot of project that has created non sense idea about that and i shoult not try to mention one of them.

Business models! That is what we need and I totally agree with this. Most of the coins in the market are just there hovering around without product which makes them subjected to pump and dump as a result of extreme speculations. With good business models, very good product to bring in demand, it is obvious we will get to see a very consistent and less volatile market, but until then, we are just stuck with some shitty coins.

We do need more adoption in local places/stores but as you mentioned that this isn't the thing you are talking. What we are missing today is one full support to a certain coin.

Agreed on this, yeah thats the missing link above all of this, the regulation and the people protection from abusing big investors,in short those manipulators thats been around for long and still getting the smaller capitalists this must be stopped for the progressive community that we all wanted to have

Cryptocurrency needs consistency. Especially when it comes  growth, the market is too unpedictable and volatile so much that it's almost impossible to tell the future,. This has inturn affected the pattern which it's growth takes as there is no certain development shape. The coins are also not consist in how they gain or lose value making the market the most volatile one there is

The first thing that I can say cryptocurrency needs and don't have yet would be something like global exchange platform when you can exchange any cryptocurrency to any other cryptocurrency easily and fast.

I agree with the above suggestion and I'd also add more users and stronger confidence in the market with less restriction regulations by the governments as these will encourage a lot of people to turn to cryptocurrency.

Okay let me follow up then : they need an easy to use and easy to understand PayPal experience working decentralized model,
that just works, is fast and extremely cheap in usage.
Yap, that's the biggest barrier to success. Working with cryptocurrencies is too complicated for the average guy. So now we need a very simple solution acceptable for them. Because, many people who belong to the older generations, they don't know how to work with paypal even, let alone set up a wallet. The new generation who grows up with crypto may not have this problem though.

They need time.

Adoption is there but not mainstream. It takes time. At some point, we will be there. But as i said, it needs some time to get there, nothing else.

We need more Escrow platforms like PayFair, LocaloinSwap,...that offers direct alt to fiat pairings so people don't have to go through that bullshit of BTC, ETH, LTC first.

Once w have more platforms like that we can say bye bye to those major cryto domination & more promising projects can show up on the surface which they have real use case in our daily life.

I think the biggest problem of whole crypto market is manipulations. It still have not big enough market capitalization and because of this moving crypto in "right" side isn't problem for a whales. All we need - regulations. But if regulators will, when they come - we wouldn't be able to see profit like this.
