Washington seems to have deployed hundreds of thousands of military personnel around the world, and they require Billions of dollars of equipment, much of it having no function other than destruction. America seems to be falling apart as a result of the lack of spending to preserve the infrastructure and the economy. So what do the taxpayers get for sacrificing their dollars and their children?
This is only a fraction of the point. The real point is, what do people get for their taxes in general?
Many people will say things like hospitals and roads and public libraries, etc. But how does anyone know? Nobody is given a receipt for his tax money, showing what he received.
I mean, you go to a store, and you purchase some products. You give them some money (taxation), and you get an itemized receipt of your purchases... which purchases you can see right in your hand, or in your shopping cart.
With taxation, you are forced to help pay for things that you don't know about, and things that you don't want.
Take the inequity and criminality out of taxation. Make them give yo a receipt for what you get, and make them stop forcing you to buy the things you don't want.
EDIT: Trump might be a good President in many ways. But his
goodness is simply a cover-up (like with all the other presidents) for the fact that we are being robbed through taxation without the representation of at least a receipt that shows us what we purchased.
