Probably just hold these coins until you get decent profits you wont lose anything if you didnt sell them.

First, you should never invest all capital in one coin. Need to diversify the portfolio. If this is a promising coin, you should not sell at a loss, it will grow later. But if it's a dead coin, then sell.

Just hold it for the long term investment, That will be so bad if you are trying to cut loss your investment. Just wait until it will go to the moon again or at least to minimize your loss on there. Get many more profits or lose out in business, it is normal condition. We must ready with with the final decisions because in business just has two probably, i.e get the profit or will lose out

You did not say what the coin is called, so it's unlikely that someone will give you advice on a specific situation. If you look globally, it's better not to sell. 10% will not decide anything if you sell today. Maybe it's not a shit coin and it will grow. Your investments can return.

Thats why we dont go all in to any coin,its a super riskt to take if you give alts a big percentage of your portfolio.

This is one mistake some traders/investors do, they are investing only in one cryptocurrency because they think it will give them the most profit, that is very risky because when the price of that coin drops you will probably lose all your investment, you should have diversify your money in different kinds of potential coin (it won't prevent a loss but it can lessen it) and should not only based on where to invest in news because not all news are true. I would hold the coin. If there was only good news the whole time and it is not a Shitcoin, then the price should rise again.

Only noobs will do that,a decent portfolio has 60% BTC and 40% alts,btc moves fast thats why you need risk management in your investments.

You have to really look at the crypto twitter personalities and follow them for a while before you get a sense of their reliability. Sometimes they will look for a low-sat bargain, buy a shitload and wait and hype it up later. Then when you go buy the coins you are actually buying theirs, giving them profit.
You can insulate yourself by never going all-in. Come up with a plan and stick to it.
Yes, I have been there.
My advice? HOLD. Really study the coin and the market. Look at the coins chart, if there seems to be daily fluctuation, sell a few, then re-buy on a dip. Keep doing that with a small amount. You may be able to accumulate more coins. I've done this before. Keep in mind though it will eventually go up or down. Be patient, be logical.

I would suggest hold if the coin is having some value and working product or team/dev active behind the coin it will raise its value for sure for example you can check dent history its initially gained value then after 6 months there was no buyers in Hitbtc now its value 1000 times greater so have a patience . Nothing is impossible in crypto world.

i already did that, bought POS coin long time ago named 10k Coin, bought from thousand satoshis and end with 1 sat, it is on Bittrex long time ago and 1 type with MMXIV coin if someone remembered that

Without knowing anything about the coin I can presume it was just a pump and dump. You made two mistakes in buying high and also in investing with all of your portfolio. Now it sounds like the price is at its low so it's not time to sell. You should be looking to sell high.

If it is a shitcoin in which you don't believe as a project and you need money, then sell and move on.
Keep in mind, that sometimes even shitcoins got pumped.
If this is a project which has a strong team with a roadmap. Then just wait. Don't make panic sells.
