Sometimes watching TV just doesn’t entertain no matter what you put on. I recommend finding a hobby that’s a bit more interactive.
I love playing and recording music on my computer. Sometimes, even playing games online can feel more interesting than TV because at least I’m playing the game and not just watching other people on the screen.
If you’re looking for something less digital and more analog I would check out activities like knitting and baking sourdough.

Go for a walk or something, a long walk in the countryside is good for your mental health. If you don’t want to do that then listen to music or meet friends for a coffee or a pint of beer or something.

Well, if I don’t get something to watch, I do other stuff like sleeping, walking, and gaming.
I don't have the help of YouTube when my favorite show is not on the telephone. All kinds of shows are available on YouTube.
I somehow got away from watching TV and got used to watching all the shows I wanted to through the Internet. I usually go to a torrent client like pirate Bay and download whatever I want to watch from there. But I use it not only to watch movies and TV programs, I also download other files from there.

It's really pathetic when my favorite program is not on TV. But I browse on youtube to watch what I want to see. Its quite simple.

I don't have cable tv, I cut the cord about two years ago. Currently, I'm using firestick instead. Honestly speaking, I can't imagine the situation when there is nothing to watch as Kodi builds offer a huge collection of movies, tv shows, cartoons, etc. Moreover, I always have something downloaded from this torrent site. But if I faced such a situation, I guess I'd spend time with family and friends, go out, play board games, read a book, or listen to music.

There are around 68 channels on my TV, as well as HBO, Netflix, and Pay-per-view. There is always something to watch, if I choose to do so.
I'm not necessarily a T.v guy so anytime I don't see something nice to watch on tele I just play games on my phone (I absolutely love playing games). Though it's a bit harder to play now OCS of work. If you're looking for suggestions I'd say take a novel and read or maybe find a hobby. I play football and ping pong whenever I can
