I will have 2 options after receiving bonuses from the bounty program:
1. I will use it to pay for my daily needs.
2. Invest in an ICO that I feel has the potential to generate profits.

I was so lucky that I sold all of my bounty tokens I got from blog writing during the time when Bitcoin was still $18k. Still holding all my earnings hedge in a USDT Tether coin. I dont know if Bitcoin will go down more for more consolidation. How I wish it will happen so I can buy more Bitcoins.

I've been holding all my bounties in my wallet for almost six months. Because most of icos is under ico price. They can make big gains in the future bull season.

Bounty hunters are being paid project's token for the efforts of promoting their project. Some hunters immediately dump their tokens once it hit exchanges. Some of them actually hold the tokens because they believe in that project and the roadmap. Optimistic, they wait for sucess and the time it will hit moon. Others may actually exchange that token for another.
From your experiences, where do you usually allocate your bounty earnings?

In my experience, I sold the wrong coin and hold the wrong coin too. I know I am poor when it comes to determing whether a coin is good or not so now, what I am doing is I am converting the coin into bitcoin immediately no matter what happen and just wait for the bitcoin to rise so I can convert it into Ph Peso.

My personal experience when I got gift tokens from my work participated in the Bounty campaign. I often hold tokens rather than directly selling on the stock, because usually prices always go down when I enter the market. And I use the results of the bounty to meet the needs of my family.

Maybe when I get a prize from the bounty campaign I will use it for everyday needs because the gifts from the bounty campaign are very useful for us bitcoin users. The benefits that we get are also very large so we have to process them properly so that what we can can benefit us in the future.

You're right a lot of bounty hunters dumping their token once it hit exchange site which I believe what cause it is that they see the beauty of the project because some bounty hunters only join any available bounty without studying the utility of the project.
Like I said the potentials and utility of token will determine what I will do once the project hit exchanges site.
When projects do hit up exchanger doesn't give out anytime about on determining projects potential. It might have the possible increase or demand but on the current condition of the market most likely coins are being dumped down into deep percentages and its normal for bounty hunters to secure out their pay before its too late.

before I made decision to sell tokens that I got from bounty, I usually looked deeply for information about how the project was planned, if it is promising, I would still hold some tokens that I had and only sell a small portion
Case to case basis since not all bounty hunters will have that kind or similar mindset when it comes on tending to hold out their bounty tokens.

I actually allocate all my earnings in bounty to my savings and some of my potential tokens will be hodl for long time but not just long long time I'll hodl it until its hit the moon price because that's the dream of all bounty hunters even the investor so that I acknowledge my self to promote legit project so that I earn money and also help those project grow.

I remember the first time I earned in my first bounty. I splurged myself into shopping spree. after I am satisfied, I have saved it in a bank for latter use. When i have decided, I placed it in a trading platform and bought other tokens for day trading scheme.unfortunatelly this market became vicous and swallowed my investments whole. bad day for trading but oh well. life goes on. I will still continue to use my bounty earnings to earn more on trading different coins.

Most of the bounty hunters can really cause dumping price of the tokens, because they will get the token free and they will not affected once the price decrease. Only few of them are concern and that is good and I hope more bounty hunters hold their token unti the price increase very high..
I suggest that bounty hunters should be more patient in waiting for a good price increase of their tokens because it will really come to happen but takes time.Selling them right away even if the price is low is not really a good practice for bounty hunters since it will also contribute to a more dump in the market.
Most of them did not patient with this condition.and they was in hurry to sell their bounty token.moreover for people that has not job or monthly income, certainly they would dump their tokens.

For me if an ICO project that I follow in the Bounty campaign and they succeed in selling at least successfully reach Softcap, when they enter into an exchange and their prices are good in the exchange market, of course I will sell my prize directly. But if the price on the market is so bad I will hold my prize from Bounty.

When I get my token or coins I convert it into Bitcoin and hold it until the price rise or I think that price is enough for me. Just like me, I exchange it because I want to grow it in the coins that I know it will grow. Its our strategy how we handle it and what will we do. When I exchange it I used it to my financial needs.

When I sell it and convert it to have a good value, I use it for some needed. I use it to buy my daily needs, keep the others as my earnings. And I don't want to use it for investing because I know I am contented for having a bounty earnings specially for what I have now.

I can convert my bounty earnings to other cryptocurrency it will very useful for me to make some more profits for my future but I cannot sell it quickly because converting is better than selling that's why I am doing it and it also very helpful for me.

Because of the current situation I think many user are very sophisticated when it comes to manage of the token, because if we have to follow the flow of emotion with others of course we have to lose of chances being profitable person. for me I can hold my token and wait for the  good price value if ever some of my token didn't success its okay the important is I will try to wait and of course I will continue to support and try to joined again in any bounty campaign to replaced my loses.
At first, I also held all the earned tokens in hold, but the instability and the fall in the market made me choose a different strategy. Now I sell 50% immediately, leaving 50% to hold.

The reason for dumping it on early phase is to take advantage on the early price. It's rare for some tokens to reached their ICO price in the market without the BTC hype like happened last year. Also with the current situation of the market this year, it's really not making a sense to hold any tokens coming from a recently finished ICO especially for a bounty hunter no matter how good the project is.

They understand what they are doing and not a sign of being noob or sh*t. They have no regrets if time comes that those tokens will hit their moon price.

After getting the gift token, I save it first and wait for an exchange, if the exchange already exists, then looking at the price, what is it worth when thrown away?
But there are also tokens that until now have not been exchanged so that tokens are only stored.

It depends on the platform and activeness of the project. If it is listed in a good exchange I guess it is best to sell it but if not and the team would release something better to look forward then holding would be the best choice that we could do.

Most of the bounty token received are useless which never come to exchanges and have no value at all. The ones which have value, I keep them save and do not sell. The reason being their value is so low, in most cases even lower than the ICO price , so there is no point to sell these token cheap. Rather hold and wait if their price increase one day.

Been a bounty participant for a year now. I've held some coins until now and all I can say is I wish I should have dumped them the moment I got them. All of the projects I believed in are not doing well (even before this bear market) and some actually died off or is sleeping indefinitely. As for the coins I dumped, I invested them in other things outside crypto.

9 out of 10 of these new coins will crash and burn. So the rational thing is to sell them immediately while they still have value.
Yes, people must be aware of this stuff unless you are that lazy to sell your coins, there is no reason to hold them if you feel those coins are not quite promising to hold since like you said most of new cons are shit coins and even fails when they hits the exchanges.

I have not seen one project with enough promise to be the next Yahoo or Youtube or Amazon, so I cannot keep those tokens, hoping that they would be valuable enough to make me filthy rich in the future. I strike whilst the iron is hot and I sell it while it is still worth something.

I use that money to buy bitcoins, because I see a promising future for Bitcoin. I truly believe 2017 was not just a bubble or a fluke and Bitcoin will go mainstream in the near future.  Wink Cool

what I do with earning boun. for shoping, for invest again, or even just hold and wait for the price to rise again. but most of the income from the bounty I hold, I don't sell directly because the price is still quite low. but if i sell, i do it again for buying ethereum or good coins.
actually its good ho hold than we sold it on cheap price.it would not give us huge reward if sell our bounty reward directly when it listed to market.sometime we need to be like investor too.

I basically trade them once in a while. Being a trader, I have always loved taking advantage of long term fluctuations, which I have always utilized to increase my stash, invest in more projects, and also at least get to pay myself over time for good job well done, no matter how long it takes. However, at the same time, considering the fact that I still always buy low, while taking advantage of the trend, I still see myself anyway as a long term holder unless of course, I do not believe there is a future for the project I am holding anymore, which is kind of rare, considering the fact that I do my research well, before joining any bounty at all.

I do all the things which are mentioned above. Depending on the attractiveness of the token, I immediately dump anywhere between 40% and 70% of the tokens once I receive them in my wallet. Most of this, I convert to fiat, but I convert a small part to BTC/ETH as well. I keep the remainder for long-term holding.

Normally when I get a token from them, I will sell it immediately because I need money to eat. but if indeed the project is truly very real and has a bright future I will sell it in part.
I also like that my income from the gift bounty is only for my own needs and if I will save the rest for the future, because with this gift campaign we can all earn money with a free and easy way to do it too
we could save some of this reward to invest on bitcoin for long time investment.if now on we could spend it to buy our daily needs, maybe our investment could used to ritirement fund.

Well I usually hold my tokens and sell some of it.As a bounty hunter we owed everything to bitcoin because without bitcoins existence there is no forum and we can't earn profit from ICOs and as we all know ICOS came from bitcoins concept of decentralization. When many investors would believe in the projects most probably investors will have huge ROI..same as bounty hunters.

If you genuinely believe in the project hold your tokens and wait for the price to go up.
It is a good idea to pay attention to the way the tokens are being distributed to ICO participants. For example, many ICOs offer huge bonuses for purchasing their tokens. I am taking about 50-70% bonus on your purchase. This will generally lead to a big dump since investors get much more than what they paid for and they are satisfied with their earnings. This drives the price down and bounty hunters sell off their tokens as a result of fear that the project has no future.

if I myself, I will certainly save and invest, because I think I can save and invest so that someday I can get more profit from my own investment, which will be one of my future savings.

This section is Economics and I think this doesn't suite this discussion.

Move it to Altcoin Discussion. You can see how to move it on down left side.

Because of the current situation I think many user are very sophisticated when it comes to manage of the token, because if we have to follow the flow of emotion with others of course we have to lose of chances being profitable person. for me I can hold my token and wait for the  good price value if ever some of my token didn't success its okay the important is I will try to wait and of course I will continue to support and try to joined again in any bounty campaign to replaced my loses.

Based on how much price after listing at exchange market, many coin from bounty campaign have lower price after listing at exchange market and I will hold it until price is growing up, but when listing at exchange market price is high, I will sell all of it.

I usually HODL if I see exchanges are too low but some I do trading. I do that because I want to be more cautios and extra careful doing trading. Some of my earnings in bounty also I do savings for my future needs and want to be in financial freedom someday.

In my experience i split it into three, the first one is for trading and the other is hoarding and applying wait and see approach before i use it. The last one is for payment and for daily needs.
But im more on holding and waiting for the bull run.
