Although I am still hunting more airdrops, y'all already know that NOT airdrop blessed us with a good price. No one got bad allocation, but I guess it's according to the tapping effort they have made.. Similarly, these days the airdrop came back again with DOGS. Which I am sure you guys have already seen it thousands of times.. So tell me your strategies guys, it would be helpful to know more about how you use airdrop funds.

I'm not happy with DOGs airdrop because the money was very small and I couldn't use it for anything big. I know I got the money for free but still why did they not do like Notcoin and distribute good amount to their supporters for it to be worth it. We give projects our efforts and promote them to make them popular and they just send us small money when they make millions from our promotion by selling tokens that they just minted to investors. I don't like it when my efforts looks like a waste to me.

What I do with my Airdrops money is, I trade them when I get them to stablecoin and wait for the price of the token to fall before I use a smaller portions to rebuy and then I hodl. Before deciding if I was going to sell or wait for some increase, the allocation has to be big so I can sell and not regret selling of the tokens  if it starts to increase.

Absolutely right, where such airdrops distributed 80% tokens for their community members that means several millions of holders in every project, so there are no way to hold such tokens because price will hardly dumping when holders will start sell their tokens. I didn’t hold DOGS coin, i sold instantly and now price is huge down.

I think that’s a smart move, very few of them survive and go up quickly after listing, even though personally I see DOGS coin is still quite good if someone wants to come back in and buy the coin for now even though there are many other good project choices with lower prices.

What must be avoided at this time is that there are too many projects like that appearing every day and unfortunately that is also our mistake when choosing one of them, especially when we are not selective in observing it properly.
For me then i wont really be that always having that kind of positive approach towards projects that been after having that kind of situation on which after it gets listed specially if it do hit up Tier 1 exchange
then i would really be considering that those prices that peaked up will really be considered its ATH and it would be taking up some time for the price would be able to touch it up specially that the community who do
recieve that AD will definitely be that sell off their bags and to those who had bought on the presale and thats why you could really expect that there would really be that a dump and since its having that multiple
exchange listing then you could say that this would really be the peak of this project. In case if there would be some another pump then it would really be that depending if the hype hasnt gone yet.

Take a look on what happened on $NOT on which it did make out some new ATH but we can really be able to tell that not anytime we would be able to experience on the same condition on each project
specially if we do speak about meme coins. If it turns out that you are already that you are positive towards a certain meme coin then it would really be up to you whether  you would be making some
long term hold or would really be taking profits as much as you could on the moment that you do have the chance.

The title says it all, what did you guys do with the airdrop you got from projects?
Well my story is that there was an XLM airdrop that happened on Keybase. Luckily I got eligible for the airdrop and since then, I have used that kind of money to invest and increase my portfolio with more altcoins.

That's cool that one can use XLM for portfolio growth. It's great to know that after all, one can reinvest those funds into some altcoin or something. I also have issues with airdrops; it's just a combination of everything. Sometimes I use the funds coming from airdrops to then diverify my investments into promising projects or tokens which I have been researching. Other times, I can invest this money in projects that I feel are worth my trust or in increasing cash flow. to the nationally organized exchange

With the recent DOGS airdrop, I am closely watching how this will work out and consider whether it is worth keeping or if I'd trade it out for something else to suit my needs. Windshield is an excellent way to find new projects and get to work quickly. But I do always research related projects. I'll love to hear from others. And how they approached the windmills recently!

I haven't really earned from any airdrop, well that is because i do not chase airdrops. It is good for you that you have reinvested the money you earned from the airdrop and not spent it, though i think you could have bought bitcoin with some of it rather than spend it all on altcoins only, you might not be so lucky with the altcoins again, you know many altcoins are pump and dump coins.
sometimes think about the future to be better than now, with having to I have to try to get changes to sacrifice early on. when looking for fields from airdrops or bounties I always set aside money for savings, business in my retirement later. parents always give knowledge to young people so that the future is better than yesterday and the words of parents make me prefer that

I totally agree with you: one needs to think ahead and make sacrifices now for a better future. Each time I enter either a Giveaway or Raffle, I use that, too, to carve out part of the funds for long-term savings and investments, like retirement planning or even going into business. It's like matching opportunities in one way with the assurance of sustainability in the future.

I was really inspired by what our parents advised us concerning the future. They always say, "plan for your future; do things ahead of time, and make responsible decisions for your own good." By using this as a guideline, integrating it with Airdrop resources, I am focused and direct towards my goals in a very lengthy period. Generally, how do you allocate your assets from a wind farm? Is there a strategy of balancing short-run interest rates against long-run considerations?
because I have had the experience of being a person who has nothing in life, it is very painful. makes me have a principle to change when there is a big opportunity in the future, I don't want to be miserable in old age, and yes, I was introduced to the crypto world, making things gradually change because of  bounty and airdrop work, I am very grateful

I am selling my airdrop to take the profit while I see it. But I am not sell all of the amount and only maybe 50%-60% and leave the rest in my account and waiting for the other rises. But I am planning to buy back if the token or coin is good enough to give another profit for me.

Maybe some people still hold their airdrop and still waiting for the good price to sell. If the token or coin can survive in the hard market, they may increase someday but they must have patience to wait that time. But it is better if they can sell it in the right time so they can take the profit.

Selling for 50% or more will be good for you especially if you get the airdrop for free. You don't have to wait for more because you do not know when the price will increase in the future. Take your chance to sell the airdrop while the price is good and buy back if you think the token/coin can increase later.

I used them to do different things that will generate different profits in the future, putting such money on only one project is a big risk to me, but if you spread them in different investments include BTC investment, it will be profitable. Good for investing the money you got from the airdrop project in BTC, I guess you made a good decision that will bring you good results in the future, because there are some people that will spend the whole money on only  new project that is misbehaving sometimes to make them to regret for putting such money on those projects.

That is a good idea by continue to hunting for more airdrop projects, but be very careful with the time and money you spend on such projects because they are not reliable like ETH and BNB projects, all you need to do is to invest on them wisely so that you will continue to accumulate profits from your strategy.

I spend and reinvest it. It's either of the two, if it's quite hefty of a money then I'd spend it both ways. But if it's quite small and I am in need of money, I just spend it anyway to buy the things that I need. Because that's how I spent when I was able to sell my BTC and few alts earlier than the bull run.

It's always been the case when I am in need and need to cater that first even if I want to hold badly and longer. It is for sure that many of us are in that kind of situation. We need to do what's the necessary first even if we are a die hard holder because it doesn't make sense when we can't avail our needs but yet we've got investments. I know how disciplined all of us are but when those situations come, we have to decide for the betterment of ours.

Don't spend all your crypto profits! Reinvesting is the secret ingredient to boosting your portfolio growth. Every small profit reinvested back into crypto becomes a building block for future wealth. Don't be afraid to take risks, but remember to diversify and manage your risk wisely.

"What do you do with your airdrop money?"

In my case, it's not airdrop money, but airdrop trash. Smiley I didn't get a single cent for participating in airdrops (including bounty campaigns). Formally, I was credited with some wrappers, supposedly worth some dollars, but in the end, these coins were never worth anything. Probably, at the very beginning, you could get a couple of bucks if you got rid of this trash right away, but I wanted to wait for a slightly higher price, but in the end, these crypto projects died and the airdrop rewards received became just a memory of money. Smiley

Instead of strategies for those wishing to participate in airdrops, I can only say one thing: "dump this financial ballast for any money you can!". Smiley At least you'll get something.
That is quite commonly the result for most of us, there are a few people who made some money from airdrops, there has been some famous airdrops like uniswap or most recently notcoin which paid people a lot of money and that is definitely something to be happy about for them. However, most of us do not make any money at all and we end up with nothing good which is fine because this is something we do not spend much money on.

I do not participate in airdrops that often, it takes something seriously great for me to participate in it, but even if that fails I am still fine because I do not spend any money on it at all, I consider that as something I do to support a project that I liked, and if they pay me something then it's great, if they don't then that's fine.

It's been almost three years since I felt any more money from the airdrop event, I always ignore the event. Because many airdrop projects do not make payments and after being paid, the tokens or coins have no value at all, they just become useless garbage in the wallet

What do you think about the recent boom with DOGS? Grin

Holding portion of received airdrops, and rest i'm reinvesting into alts with high profit potential, hopefully that happens and then planning to rotate those funds into safe cryptos like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

But if financial condition requires, I'd sell everything for fiat irrespective of price.
This is the best option usually works for the members with we have to invest in coin which is having best offer for us, I have also done many times to spend for my problems to be solved, but usually I never hold any portion because I was having feeling selling all is best option even few times I feel not good with my decision.

I used to sell all, or would keep holding all, felt it was too extreme, as both created regrets. So, what you see above is improved version, I wouldn't say it's best but it's certainly better than before.

For Dogs I sold 50%>> and I'm leveraging on all opportunities I could find to maximize my holdings again. There's Poolx & also this..Bitget dogs 200% cashback. You can consider it if you're in the available region..

this is true and sometime it sparks the idea to just sell the airdrop to get some money and short it immediately Grin.

seen plenty that could be a really good potential to grow the capital by shorting like pixfi for example, literally dumping all the way to ATL after having such big rally.
I think pretty much other airdrop token is always like this, only select few that still keep their price even after the dumping but those kind of project usually have solid foundation and community.

the rest are just temporary money grabbing.

It depends.

If I am bullish on a certain token (e.g., $ETHFI) where I got airdropped twice, I wouldn't mind holding it for long.

As for the rest, it will be on a case to case basis.

But mostly I sell because I've got a lot of expenses and bills to pay for the month since I only relied on a client basis income and not fixed.

And since I began airdrops, it helped me from financial disaster and no doubt that even with difficult qualifications or so it would at least help me keep going on my every day needs.
Totally depends into your assessment but actually most of the time i would really be selling out immediately on the time that it would really be having value specially if its really that came from airdrop then you could really expect that there would really be that hard drop and if ever i do see a project which does have a good potential because of some factors like having that huge community support plus the hype then i would really be reconsidering on making up some buybacks on the bottom on which there would really be chances that it would really be reaching out all time highs after that hard drop but of course there would really be no guaranteed with this kind of method or ways because it would really be still all depending on different factors like community support on which i would say that this is the most important thing to be considered upon.

If ever you would really be able to make some good money from free drops then it would be ideal that you should really be keeping those profits for you to have on USDT form because on the time
that the market would really be having that drop or price crash then it would really be the best that you do have that right amount of buyback funds and this is what im doing ever since.
Never ever make your wallet to be zero specially on stable coins because opportunities do really come and go and if you dont have sufficient funds then you would be missing out those
golden opportunities.

Well my story is that there was an XLM airdrop that happened on Keybase. Luckily I got eligible for the airdrop and since then, I have used that kind of money to invest and increase my portfolio with more altcoins.

Which I am sure you guys have already seen it thousands of times.. So tell me your strategies guys, it would be helpful to know more about how you use airdrop funds.

Just like I thought, $DOGS is following the $NOTCOIN trend. Rewarding I must say especially for those who got large amounts of $DOGS. I claimed my $DOGS to Bitget and just successfully traded 50% of my bag as I expect a surge later. I'll be utilizing the exchange PoolX for a while to earn additional rewards. Reinvesting a certain portion from my airdrop money has been my lifestyle over the years. My goal is to grow my portfolio.

From my perspective, airdrop money is not as important as your own personal money, which means less stress and emotions going through the process of reinvestment. So this might be a good chance to hunt other trending projects and tokens without selling at lower prices and taking only the small profits.

In case you are in need of money, probably taking half of that money and keeping the rest once again for reinvestment of any kind. For now many airdrops are on Telegram platform and they are doing so great in creating a huge hype, successful projects and making cryptocurrencies better by filling the market with new investors.

Money of airdrops cannot be considered totally as not important, some people are making thousands of dollars a month with airdrops. Maybe it’s a chance for you to save them long term and hold them for better prices.

Airdrops under the XLM network? What coins is this referring to, OP? In times like this, you can really tell if it looks like it's the season of airdrops. That's why there are so many airdrops now, and it's hard to identify or find out which of them are legit.

It's almost as if I'm about to give up because there are so many games. My telegram of tap games is filled with games, and I keep deleting them because of the tasks that I'm asked to do everywhere I join tap games or group channels, so be careful.

Airdrop payouts are usually lesser in amount so it cannot be exchanged immediately so wait till the the coin will be listed on good exchange or when price reaches all time high and the other best way to use airdrop payouts is to directly invest in other IDOs or ICOs.

I have become interested in airdrops now. I gave up on them years ago, but Hamster tokens, dogs, and other tapping mining have made me come back.

So far,, it's good, so I will hold it and wait for more updates and development. Since I did not invest my own money; it's all effort, so I really have nothing to lose.

But I'm ready to dump it once I see that the developers are just making it their cash cow or planning to do a rug pull. Everything depends on the developers and the community there are coins that came from airdrops that are doing good in the market.

It all depends on the amount of funds we get from the event, if possible to transfer to better crypto assets, it might be better to increase our income, but if the airdrop token has the potential to increase then we can hold it first until it reaches ATH because some airdrop tokens are usually just listed on the market and have great potential to be listed on a larger market so that when we hold the token then we can get a fairly high price.

If we want to get big profits when participating in the airdrop, then when the distribution occurs, we must immediately sell the coins, because the high price at that time will not last long, so as you said, we must immediately exchange them for stable coins so that we are safer.

Airdrops usually cannot maintain their price and you can see a price dump when all users sell their tokens. As a result, holding tokens from an airdrop is a big risk, and I immediately convert it into more stable and valuable coins in the early hours of listing.

Honestly airdrops or anything else, the end result is usually the same for me; put it in btc. That's what I do first, all the money I make, everything, I put it on BTC first, and then I can take a look at it and see what I can do, but first of all I end up putting it in BTC. I have been known to cash it out, keep it in btc, buy another token or coin and many other stuff, I even tried doing business once years ago, didn't do well but didn't lose money at least. So anything could happen, but before anything else, I never keep those tokens, if airdrops gives me any money, any token, I sell it as soon as I get it, and the end result becomes BTC after that.

USDT is a secondary option if there is something wrong with BTC too. Not that I think that's what we are going to see, but that does happen quite frequently and could be the result for this one as well, not really seeing it change all that much, I think USDT could be fine for anyone who chooses it.

Well, it depends on the amount I get. If it's a small amount, then I'll just leave it alone, hoping that one day the coin's price will go up, and make it more valuable. If I get a large amount, then I usually exchange it and buy another coin that has a good fluctuation in its increase and decrease, and try to increase its value by trading, or changing it into one of the coins in my portfolio.

It depends on the airdrop, If the airdrop has potential, like Dogs then I'll hold it for future profit, If I see that the airdrop is an average coin that will likely do a rugpull, I will dump it right away and buy coins with good potential to add to my portfolio.

Airdrops are also investments because you are doing things and tasks and spending a lot of time, This is not something that we used to do 8 years ago, where we only sent our addresses to the developer and they would send you your share, Now you have to work for your shares of airdrops.

with this airdrop also attracts attention and many users, and I also took this opportunity to follow this Dogs airdrop and indeed there is potential for the future, to get some rewards, by holding the existing tokens increasing the trust of those in it.

I would just my money for my goods for certain percentage of the airdrop and keep the rest to reinvest on some stocks and DCA. It's good to reward yourself with some goodies especially if you in dire need to get your dream items come true. Even though the airdrops money are free but it's so rare to get a decent airdrop nowadays, so be wise with whatever amount money you get later especially in DOGS.

It's been almost three years since I felt any more money from the airdrop event, I always ignore the event. Because many airdrop projects do not make payments and after being paid, the tokens or coins have no value at all, they just become useless garbage in the wallet

If it is still possible, you can get a profit by buying back DOGs and selling when the price goes up again, and remember, if DOGs have experienced a 2nd decline, leave it and never buy it back with your full money, because usually the price will fall if the dev wall is not strong enough to withstand the flow of sales.
Many peoples are already started their daydreaming with this because they are feeling this is going to be helpful for them, and they will be able to have good profit, but things are really hyped with most chances we are not going to have anything positive because price is going to be fall badly, and we will be not able to have recovery as well.

Well! I was lucky to be part of the ICP airdrop which was a big one for me. Then I got decent amount from NOT coin airdrop and now I am expecting another decent amount from DOGS airdrop. All that I made were reinvested into Bitcoin and a few altcoins. This is my strategy from the beginning whenever I participate in airdrop or in the past bounty campaigns I have always converted those tokens to Bitcoin and invested in a few altcoins to maximize my gains.
In the past, I was also part of many good airdrops with things were also fascinating because many times I am having good amount which helps me in many ways in bad time, but recently I never have anything from these airdrops because we are having no profit like we have few years back now usually we are having hype and lost of time.

The title says it all, what did you guys do with the airdrop you got from projects?
Well my story is that there was an XLM airdrop that happened on Keybase. Luckily I got eligible for the airdrop and since then, I have used that kind of money to invest and increase my portfolio with more altcoins.

On the moment or  time that you would really be finding yourself be able to make some significant amount of money through airdrops then the best or worthy thing is to make reinvest with those amounts.
Rinse and repeat on which on the moment that you do able to make money on something, then make use of those profits for  you to deal with another project or tokens on which are new.
Of course it wont really be that always working on which we know that when it comes into this aspect then not everyone would really be sharing up with the same idea. We do know
that its a rare case  that airdrops would really be giving out something big into their participants.

The key on here when dealing up with airdrop is that dont tend to expect something positive because not all projects that has airdrops would really be ending up on getting huge amount
on which most of them do really give peanuts. This is why on the moment or time that it would really be giving out significant amount then it would really be just that worth
if you do make out investment out of it so that you would really be having that multiple options on which this act is really just that needing up some common sense i would say.

I haven’t had an airdrop in a long time to be honest. The last meaningful ones I got were when we had the Bitcoin Fork Wars. I got a fair chunk of money in BCY, BTG & various other shit coins. I spent them to be honest, had a lot of fun. If it was now, I’d probably be smarter & convert them to Bitcoin.

I got $2,000 worth of JUP, which I honestly didn’t expect. I was just using the chain regularly because it was the top choice in 2023. I decided to invest the airdrop into solana memes, but most of those tokens are practically worthless now, so I ended up losing $2,000 without actually doing much.

Later, I received Wen airdrop, also unexpected. almost impossible to miss if you’ve held onto Bonk.

Now, I’m looking forward to my next airdrop, probably DOGS. I farmed with four accounts and also jumped on Bitget’s 200% DOGS cashback deals after seeing it floating around and predicted to be around $20,000.

Depending on my financial condition and depending on market conditions, if I really need that money, I'll not make any strategy such as increasing the size of my crypto portfolio. Even if I don't really need the money for real world needs, I then look at market conditions, whether the market is good or not, I choose to increase the amount of my investment if market conditions are not good, which means I can get a better price. And if market conditions are good, I'll withdraw the money into FIAT or hold stablecoins in my portfolio.

The very best thing to do with the airdrop money is to invest in different altcoins that you think will rise in the near future,it is good to invest than using it in things that is not important or wasting it,if we invested it there is a possibility that it will become double while if you spend it it will loss.

It is either people sell the airdrop for money to survive or they sell and invest the money into other stronger altcoins, you don't need to ask this question because there is no other answer than spending the money to survive or reinvesting, what more do you want to hear?

The best airdrops are already over, I doubt that we will see airdrops with thousand of dollars per participants again, for example the likes of Arbitrum and few others.

To all airdrop hunters on here, things won't always be the same, it is better to start learning new ways to make some money from now on, because airdrops are becoming over saturated already, a time will come where a pass will be necessary to partake in any airdrops in future.

by getting direct airdrop funds I will first save it,and start looking for other airdrops that have the potential to generate, and wait for the opportunity to get it back, until it has been collected a lot, if it has been collected I will buy coins that are priced according to the airdrop funds I get, even though it takes a long time to get it all.

Stake, Re-invest, and withdraw some. I won't fully use my airdrop reward for staking and investing. But, I must withdraw some for urgent funds.

That's true. We're going to have another NOT soon, and that's DOGs. I'm feeling so pumped with DOGs's listing. In fact, major supports from almost all of the exchange sites drive the hype of DOGs.

And Binance listing is a key for DOGs to follow NOT coin's path.

The strategy is to convert a less valuable asset into a more valuable or stable asset.

Though I haven't gained that much from airdrop Money, I believe that the proceeds of Airdrops is better reinvested into a stronger asset except when you have a more demanding need to use the money for and you can then decide to make use of it. The mistake you will regret making when an airdrop eventually pays is to try holding it.  In most cases it usually dumps cause a lot of people will sell off theirs immediately they've been paid. Again, airdrop money is not free money as some people assume. The task and all the things you had to do before you became eligible to receive the pay isn't something that's less demanding and that should give you the impression that loosing your money from airdrop isn't a big deal. Some folks have made plans to gamble with thier airdrop money since it's actually a free Money. I'm not against gambling and also do gamble occasionally but classifying airdrop money as free money that should be misused is totally wrong. It's either you're spending the aidrop money on yourself or you should importantly reinvest it into a more stable digital asset.

When I get paid from the airdrop, I will immediately sell it and replace it with coins that have good potential. As long as I play the airdrop, many of the tokens I get have no value, so when the payment comes in from the airdrop, the cell immediately exchanges it for several coins and I continue to keep it. The coins are the result of my investment with airdrop.

I have not been so lucky with airdrops. Most of them that I engaged in either ended as a fake project or became worthless. But some people have made some good money from it, so I still engage in some of these telegram airdrops hoping that it will pay one day.

It will depend on the amount that I got after the sale of the airdrop. I might consider buying a high-rank altcoin from my profit if the funds are less than $500. If it is above the stated sum, investing in Bitcoin or starting a small-scale business in a rural area might be my next investment target.

Well I have not gotten any air drops in a long time. But when I did get the tokens I did right away fast sell them for Bitcoin. Well this is if I could do that some of the tokens was not worth anything on the exchanges.
But there is also many times the air dropped tokens was worth nothing. I have not used the air dropped tokens to stake on a air drop event. I did like to stake tokens in the past but now I always want to control my coins.

Reinvesting is the way.

we can just cash out when the coin has reached peak price or when you think you already got good enough airdrop and find some coin with actually good fundamental and invest from the very bottom.
can also use the money to catch the dips too adding some value to your BTC DCA, i think there are many ways.

however, I also have used some of the airdrop money to stake on other airdrop event, i call it airdrop compunding investment Grin.
