i can vouch for these guys too.

they have a swipe card you can draw down from BTC to fiat.

i buy my lunch and coffee daily using my btc.

i have been researching them as well as livingroomofsatoshi before using them.

in Australia we are very sceptical about new fangled things and so are our government.

these guys both pass the "pub test as they call it here.

Coinjar.com seems to be a legit and reputable business. They've been open since May 2013. Good support.
And they a rewards program wherein points can be used to pay for exchange fees, giftcards , etc.

They did have some issues before. Co-founder was suspected of having dealings with Bitcoinica (some hacks/scandal).
But they have managed to build their reputation over these past years.

Coinjar.com or coinjar.com.au seems to be a registered business in Australia. It seems great as you can put your BTC there in fiat without worrying about losing money when the price drops. You can also withdraw the BTC to your bank account. But I'm not sure how much I can trust this site? How long have they been around? Is it safe to store a good amount of BTCs there? Any of you have any experiences with them?

If this is a registered company ,then it is under regulation by the government and should be safe for all users we had one similar to coinjar and have been trading my bitcoin to our local currency and  have not encountered any issue but of course since they are compliant, they are verifying their users.
