As far as ICO is concerned, it is impossible to reliably answer what's best, it all depends on the investment strategy.  It's all very subjective and personal.  It's hard to make predictions even for 1 month, for even more meaningless swing.  You can take into account a lot of futurological forecasts, but there is no guarantee that they will be more reliable than the forecasts of a beginner.  One can say for sure.  In my experience, it is much more convenient and reliable to invest through good companies.  For yourself, picked out Paytomat.  For more than a year I trust my money and I remain satisfied

market conditions like this make the ICO is quite difficult to get financial support from various parties. These conditions I think will be difficult because of the growing number of ICO is also a little influence on the development of crypto.

A good crypto to invest in currencies tend to experience tremendous growth when there is a strong community backing it.
This way, people can contribute to new ideas and new features to be incorporated into the coin, increasing trading volume and signifying growth towards a bigger market.
By looking at how much interest and effort goes around the development community there is a chance that the coin will continue to innovate according to how the cryptocurrency market sees fit
A good start is here in bitcointalk. Also a coin’s popularity score is a key indicator in determining the size of the community. With that, check out a budding project known as Multiversum.

Many of the 531 ICOs that failed last year looked like a futuristic concept from the very beginning. In most cases, seasoned investors could identify signs of a scam and be cautious. However, not all have the proper experience in investing, and for this reason some projects still attract up to $ 233 million. As the ICO mania shows no signs of easing, there is no reason to believe that this year the Crowdsley will be better. Due to increased competition and an endless stream of potentially tempting ICOs, crypto-investment in 2018 will be even more risky than ever.

With new project constantly being developed -- some stronger than others -- do you think the current market conditions can support new projects & that they will be able to raise funds?

How has bear market changed the way you view/invest in ICOs?

The bear market doesn't change my criteria on choosing a project for investment or support.
The projects must have a mvp product and/or have a significant chances to disrupt some big niche.

I'm investing in ETH. 1 ETH == 1ETH now and before month.

At current situation my opinion in ICOs is quite simple: I wouldn't touch them with a stick. Too much scam.

It is better to invest in tokens of exchanges. For example there is lccx.io - looks like promising exchange based in London.  Well developed white paper, experienced team, located in politically stable jurisdiction.
When exchanges exist too much it's not good. We see not enough volumes on it and consequently too much volatility or a lack of coins for own orders. And I am leaving such exchange.

The Standart Protocol - Solving Inflation
In this bear market only few project will survive. It is all depend on the team. If they have risk management for their project and if the project is really good for blockchain and solving the world problem with it. It can succeed. If the project is just another easy project or even normal project it will goes down untill the market stabilize.

the market is just a marketing mediator, all the development of ico project depends on the project community itself, I think that ico project will always hit the world market market to show the best

Here is finally a good ICO again. Dorado !!! Softcap is ready. And there is still 17% bonus and 3% extra bonus in my signature. I am with 0.5 ETH. It is a small contribution. But little is better than investing nothing. 7 offices in 7 countries. Incorporated in Switzerland.

3% Extra Bonus in my Signature . Good Luck with your Investment

The only thing I make of the current ICO market is that until there is some regulation in this market ICOs aren't a good investment. With so many scams going on in the ICO market I don't think investing in ICOs is a safe bet.

To be honest, I think that many ICO destroy cryptocurrency. I think it's time to introduce certain restrictions on the conduct of the ICO. People change bitcoin to tokens that have no value. As a result, there is a decline in the market.

The current market provide a great opportunity for one to pick up good projects at dirty cheap price, though projects are now suffering becasue of he sentiment against ICOs, before ICO sold out in few minutes some even in pre-sale but now the story is different and I think this is good because one of the issue with all these ICOs is over valuation of their project

That is right. But still the ICO is risky as they are not regulated. I would prefer Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin or even litecoin.

the market is stuck and some ico or project becomes a scam adds to the worse market situation. we should know that it is very difficult to attract current investors and soft cap targets are also very difficult to achieve.

If a project is good and idea is solid, it will reach success.

I tend to disagree following the progress of the Chimaera ICO. They have a good and solid idea, they have an immensely experienced team, that whole project is as legit as it gets, there is not much competitors out there (if any), they have a track record in crypto (Huntercoin) and still they struggle to gain any momentum during this bear market.

In the current state of the crypto even the overhyped projects with their thousands of shills are struggling. Things can only get better Wink

I totally agree with patz22. If a project is good and idea is solid, it will reach success. But during the bear market is it much more difficult for sure. Lower volumes and low total market cap is a serious reason that makes everything in crypto world to be slower than it could be.

Legit, promising, useful icos will always get support and there will always be investors. ICOs created just to raise funds and then be gone would fail this time because investors are more careful now than before. New tokens will be subjected to more scrutiny thus crypto market/trading  will have  only real good altcoins.

Yes i think and why not as long as it will become the promising project and it should be traded above the ico price and you can try to see credit. How the developer was opening the trading time when the market at the big correction due to the ad ban news and some problem with bitcoin and ethereum. As long as that's a good project and you will be fine.

At the moment with so many ICOs being scams and the market being so bearish I think most investors are staying away from ICOs and putting their money into solid, well established and known coins/tokens.

The only chance for a new ICO to be successful is for it to have a working product that can either have real world use or help advance the blockchain IMHO.

If its a really good project then I won't pass it because of market conditions because those will change.

Yes. With fewer dollars to go around I think it puts a big squeeze on some o the less hyped projects.

Do you think team and experience becomes the most important aspect in this market scenario?

Depending on the project however there's a lot of ico's wherein they have the same product or concept. For me, with this current state of market it is very hard to raise funds since most are holding. Ex: galaxy e-solutions,they even extended their ico because they haven't reach the hardcap. Based on my observations, whatever the project/concept if they have a great marketing team for sure it will gain investors and eventually they will have funds to develop the project.
