I doubt that it will cost $ 1 maybe but not soon. I think it is growing because it is being used now as an alternative for the output of crypto currency and exchange. Low commission and fast speed.

Dogecoin is a simple coin with no use except speculations. It was created at the times when literally every ICO were bringing millions. We had lot of that trash coins. Still Dogecoin survived but I doubt it would make it for a much longer.

as far as i can remember . doge is a joke coin but achieving the price 0.01 $ in few days ago is really awesome achieves. to achieving 1 usd is really hard because the total of supply this coin is big. but it is a good trade .one of the reason is doge has low fees transaction.

Joke coin and 1$ is too much for it for sure. But it's really useful for transfering funds and many people use it and buy, I personally love to trade it sometimes.
Off course doge is very good in terms of transaction compared to other but the thing is when it comes to value we don't have much hope it because the supply of doge coin is very huge and it cannot reach to 1$.

Dogecoin is not new coin in the market. Dogecoin is one of the early coin in cryptocurrency.
I heard something bad about dogecoin, many said that the developer was leaving the project and no more development and event in dogecoin and so thats why i dont really interesting with dogecoin.

Even if Dogecoin began as a meme coin that only got recognition because of that, the coin is not that bad, dogecoin does not have a cap on the number of coins that are going to exist, this makes it a terrible store of value so do not leave significants amounts of money in dogecoin, but that makes it a very good currency since fees are low, dogecoin in a way is similar to fiat in the way there is no cap and the governments are always printing more, so it makes sense to have some doge around just in case you need to pay for something and dogecoin is a form of payment accepted by the merchant.
