I think trying to make profit from ripple by a long term investment is a better idea than a short time investment. But for me, ripple is not a strong or promising coin for the future. In my opinion, it is better to find better coins.

It may be too three coin but it is really shit idea to invest your money on that coin. I don't understand what is the best coin and which basis people see picking this shit as a coin. Keep in your mind  if you want to keep your money in risk you can go with this coin.

It is real problem in some times you can reach the 0 fund in your wallet with this shit centralised coin.

Yeah i agree with you, i think if you are picking xrp for long term then it is a good choice, infact i take ripple as a hedge when i invest in btc and eth i also try to get some xrp, i think it can reach $5-$10 if you hold for 12 to 18 months.

I am not a fan of Ripple because of its supply and centralization. However, I understand why people like it, as the team is active and signing massive partnerships, etc. I think it can do alright but there are better investments out there IMO. I'd just advice you to diversify instead of going all in in one coin.
in any case, do not just focus on one coin, let it look and it looks quite promising. In any case, you must minimize your risks and make an investment in several coins.

Look a lot of people really hate Ripple, and I can of understand why too, but if you’re thinking about holding any crypto currency for that amount of time specially for speculative gain, I personally don’t see how you can go wrong with Ripple.
I don't like that coin since I saw the whole hype train its ride on last year. Turn out nothing and so why many people hate it.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and experience with Ripple. Maybe some dont really like ripple because of what happened last year. If tou look on the charts it did increase a lot for sometime but when it dropped down, it had a hard time increasing its price back again and maybe some were traumatized and still have not recovered back their losses.

that is normal. The real investors they usually buy and hold from three to five years before selling them all. We should study with them and be consistent with our portfolio. The Cryptocurrency market needs trust and patience to make it profitable for you.

I can't understand why those profit seeker avoid ripple just because it is centralized? it doesn't matters if it is centralized or decentralized, all they should care is how the project grow, bring positive news, then bring the price up.
personal hate on a coin? Lololol
Centralization is bad and that's why xrp is totally overvalued. Now banks in the world are working centralizedly, so what is point banks work with ripple? That's why western union said No
I know it is bad, i know it is against crypto principle. But, but if you are truly seek profit, all that central decentral is nonsense bullshit as long as you get sweet money (sorry i tell truth, many many crypto holder/trader now like that, only a few still hold crypto faith)
Even wonder why many ICO nowaday with that crazy presale phase and bonus and still success? yes ppl are only care about money

I am against the banking cartels however the reality is they have a foundation and structure which will support the growth of this network. Ripple will be backed by the bankers. This will only result in growth. I am invested in Ripple and am hopeful it will hit $5-$10.

Ripple is a banking system project so this will be survive in long term. Still some Peoples are said this will never reach last year value because this is totally against in Bitcoin so some investors are drop the investment in Ripple. So Bitcoin marketcap is gradually raise soon and end of the year Ripple is maintain same growth in market.
For me recover of market will be connected with ripple pump so for me investing in ripple and holding it for some time will bring some income.

Ripple is not totally decentralized yet its being backed by banksters and another institutions where they can able to easily control and manipulate which means its totally centralized and not only that XRP do have a huge supply I don't even see the true innovation that it gives but rather its just being supported by traditional investors so if you are eyeing on this one then I would say its much better to find another coin.

It depends on whether you have a ripple or you are going to buy it. Personally, I do not hate this coin. On it, as well as on other coins it is possible to earn well. If the ripple was bought at a low price, then it might be worth keeping some coins for a year or some time. Perhaps a ripple will still show us growth. The crypto market is very influenced by the news and no one can say for certain that the ripple will not give us some great news and its price will not begin to climb rapidly.

As for me, I became an investor of ripple Grin. A year ago, I bought a certain amount of ripple for $ 0.2. It so happened that in early 2018 I didn't want to sell this coin (this of course was my fault, but at that time I was busy with other projects that brought me a good profit). So now I'm just holding this coin. When there is a pamp bitcoin, then I will sell some  ripple, but I'll leave part of it myself anyway. While the coin in the top I think that it should be in the portfolio. Next I will look at the situation. But correctly written above, that if you buy  ripple (like any other crypto coins) only for the money that you don't mind losing.

I don't hate ripple. I think it's a very well designed project but it reached it's potential already. Total supply is really huge and you can't expect everyone in the world to invest in Ripple...

Take in consideration that one year ago (exactly) ripple was less than $0,08 each one of them, so make your own research before investing into that pump and dump coin.

On the Ripple crypto currency, you can earn good money by doing day trading, but you can not buy this crypto currency for long-term investments. A lot of negativity hit the Ripple and it will not allow it to grow very much.

For this moment most of coins will be profitable to hold on one year. Prices are low so when bitcoin will start growing each altcoin will increase own value, ripples too, so it will be profitable even for people which hate this coin

sadly to say, xrp is overvalued. I have some xrp bought at price $0.85, suggest to hold one year because xrp might reach $1-$1.2? There are bunch coins bring more profit than xrp, stupid to hold xrp one year..

Agreed! in that matter it just like another currency that has a big potential of growth. We all know what Ripple is made of and what its goals are. Being criticize for what its supposed to, makes it even valuable. Ripple can bring a good profit this year and the following years.

riple has a potential like other platform and coin however if you want to hold your riple its up to you but if i were you i would love to buy more bitcoin and hold until it go up and sell.
That is right enough. Ripple is a great crypto and holding it for a year can really be good in the end but I think one should not only stick to one crypto and should have a diverse portfolio which is what gives you a great return in the end of the investment period. Try investing in ETH and Bitcoin both of which are available easily in the market and hold it for sometime and you can cash it with good money.

Just because it's on the 3rd spot on coinmarketcap, people are buying it. In general, when bitcoin starts to be in bull again coins like Ripple will benefit.

Yeah, most of the big names are positive about ripple, i think it is a matter of market growth and volume recovery then we will see all the good coins moving up in value nicely, i have read many $5 predictions about ripple, lets see how much more time it takes to reach there.

I agree with holding about a year or maybe two, according to situation of the market in a year, we all have an idea how it'll look like, but the reality is often different.
I bought Ripple last week so I'm excited about it.
Today, there are a lot of negative reviews about Rippy. The fact is that there are quite a lot of accusations about overcharging the price of this coin.

I think ripple has a potential and more reliable than all of the other coins. Because it is centralized coin. But  I suggest you not to buy ripple all of your money. You can divide your money 4 or 5 parts and you can buy ripple with one part of your money.

as i know people didn't like ripple because this cryptocurrencies is a centralized crypto
so, somebody can control and manipulate this crypto my friend
but, if you think XRP is good for investments, just do it and remember invest only with your own risk  Wink

I ain't holding this shit coin anymore. ripple just a security coin and it can't be considered as a smart investment again. centralized blockchain with nothing to be used by the token holders.
It offers only the advantage to the banker and the team has been giving shit to the holders.

I think it's a bad decision because I'm not interested to buy centralized coins and in this era, many Blockchain projects appear by offering faster and cheaper transaction even those projects are less centralized than Ripple, XRP only allows 1,500 transactions per second and 4 seconds of transaction speed, I think that capability is not too special in the category of centralized cryptocurrency

That would be a good decision to take since most crypto investments are based on a long term plan. Furthermore, looking at the market trend these days it is very likely that any investment that you go into would last for a very long time before you start to earn from it. With this in mind then you will not engage in panic sales i guess.
