Absolutely! a riser is simply an adapter with a cable, making it possible to extend your GPUs away from the mobo, making it better to cool/make space. This riser is 1x-> 16x and even though 1x ports are slower, they do not affect mining

The motherboard seems extremely good for mining! you have 3 PCI-e x16 and 4 PCI-e 1x which makes it possible to install (if everything supports it, and it should) 7 GPUs with risers from the 1x slots

I'm not an expert in this field, but the only spec that is really relevant is your GPU. It seems like your particular GPU can achieve a decent hashrate, altough it looks like it might not be the best one around...

Could you please suggest any recommended GPU for $250 with better hash rate and which could be compatible with my motherboard as well.
Like if I can go with multi R9 280X or like 2 GPU within the range of $250.
