I would guess you just don't use address. I'm guessing you let it print the information first, then fill it with BTC.

I could be wrong on this part though.

Interesting piece of hardware. I'm just wondering what happens though if your using the Forget Keys option and your thermal printer takes a crap on you just before printing out your privkey?

This is a company!! They will earn some money. So a cost price from $100,- leads to a sell price of $229 is not bad, i think.

I think the usb device for around .80 btc less is a better option if you have a comparable printer. To me this wallet printer looks like a Raspberry Pi and small printer. I would guess you could build your own that does same job for much much cheaper.

So throw in SD card, and power cable for raspberry pi, a case. You can make the same thing for around 110-120 dollars? less then half and just as good as product.

It's just hype. You can achieve the same with just an offline PC and using a safe setup.
That includes using live linux disks, etc. Not for everyone, but still - I consider it way too expensive for what it is.

I agree with ifran. I don't really like using paper wallets either but wouldn't pay for such a device. Would just prefer to keep my coins on wallet.dats and backed up several times instead.

Hmmm...I think you are quite right but I would say that they are reliable.

Also I would say that it's nice because you have everything in one device and using a printer (which often have a internet connection nowadays) could be risky.
