In the future real women in Saudi Arabia will become virtually invisible on the streets and used only for reproduction, while the streets will be populated by herds of sexy female robots who will continuously praise the virtues of the Saudi men.

Robot Sophia of artificial intelligence Saudi Arabia has already given him citizenship. According to sources in the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, Bangladesh Biman has announced the announcement of 'Gold Membership' to Robot Sophia. Robot Sophia found the "citizenship" of Saudi Arabia, like the robot of Sofia, can be expressed as a human face, just like people like humans have learned to love. Made by Hollywood legend Adre Haipburn, Sofia now wants to take a child. The family also wants to form In a recent interview, when asked about his future plans, he says that the family is very important. Robot Sophia, a Hong Kong-based robot manufacturing company, created Hanson robotics. Artificial intelligence Sophia can face almost like people. But his reaction is not already determined.

To summarize, Sophia seems to be no more (and I suspect, far less) advanced than Siri or Alexa or Cortana. It’s a shame that so many people (and even governments) fell for this, because it contributes to the AI hysteria and grossly misleads the public about the state of the art in AI.

But one thing though. The robot has got some amazingly realistic facial expressions. Too bad the creators didn’t receive enough funding for a wig.

I don't like it and it feels disgusting. I feel like we are so pathetic that we can't get along with real humans anymore  in the future and we only talk to robots to make us feel good. I don't get why it should have the same resemblance like us?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5t6K9iwcdw

I must admit I'm completely overwhelmed. I think it's great and hadn't realized that technology was that advanced, but don't manage to assess all the consequences that can have.

I think this is more like a marketing stuff. There is already a robot on the internet that types shit, the only difference is that that robot is speaking the words and it has a phisical shape.

I think it's a stupid idea to make humanoid robots. And now there are companies manufacturing sex robots and it's more crazy if we see human-robot marriage in the future. Robots should be modified as a helping tool and only as that.I appreciate such thing but if this are used against man so what happen then.we have to do such thing which could be helpful to man.

She can be helpful to a lot of people but every time  I saw her, it gives me creeps. I have this uneasy feeling whenever I look in her eyes. I don't know if its the same with others but that's how I felt. I also think that we don't have to make those robots look exactly like humans. I know we are in an era were these things will exist but for some reason it doesn't feel right. I was wondering what will be the next one. A robot who can create their own kind? Who knows.

I am not much worried about it. Robots will never ever be able to procreate. How can machines reproduce by themselves? I am afraid that you are watching too many sci-fi movies lately. Don't lose your sleep over artificial intelligence and all. AI is at least 200 years away.

I am a little bit worried about artificial intelligence. We saw many scientific films yet and there were many robots in those films. Some of them were distopic and some of them were utopic. I also can not estimate that Sofia will be good or bad for humanity.

I don't want  that people to be fewer in the future than robots.

That will be a good thing, isn't it? If the human population is low, that will put less stress on the environment. Because robots need only metal and electricity. They don't need things such as food, water, medicine, sex, entertainment.etc. Also, there will be no jealousy, laziness, disease, warfare, sabotage.etc, as robots are immune to emotions.

I think that is one of the first innovation of man as a robot lady being a member of a society. So she means she can blends and join the community do whatever humans do. I think in the future if this is really successful some will turn them into a wife of their own. So is the reality happened like in the movies that humans interacting with robots in real life scenario. This will come to happen more like imagine if there's really a full functioning robot policemen on the streets controlling order and peace. What if it will be used for bad intentions? Then comes the problem.

There has a thing that gonna make bad if something create robot with some intelligent more than a people
  • First, if a robot has a program that what will do, it follow what a program has.
  • when something really happen on its function the robot doesn't know what its going
  • it doesnt know how the right or the wrong works. it create all work literal
  • there has a chance that a robot can be the one who can be a man and a man doesnt do anything because a robot can do what people can do.

It is good to have robot but it is too much risky for us to have a robot like man.

When I saw the video it feels different. Maybe I watched toovmany apocalyptic movies were robots take over human race. At the same time I was amazes on how technology progress from a simple cheap robot int the 90's to something that has been given citizenship. I don't see their point why they need to give a robot that right. It looks like human but it should be treated as human. There are a lot of people who needs citizenship maybe then can be prioritized as well.

With what Sofia says i think she could be a threat to the humanity . Who know she won't build her own a army that could destroy everything ?

Some people were saying the same when computers were invented. But what happened after that? It is true that computers made a few million people unemployed. At the same time, it created tens of millions of job opportunities in the form of ITES sector. I don't think that robots pose a challenge to humanity. The major threat for humanity comes from the humans themselves.

Not one film has already been created on this topic. In these films everything is very beautiful and romantic. However, I think that in real life everything looks very different.
If people start giving human rights to robots, then a wave in society will rise. There are many who will be against and long proceedings will begin who is right and who is not. Mankind will not come to a common opinion for a long time whether it is necessary to give human rights to machines. All this time there will be disputes and discussions in the media, on the Internet.
Personally, I do not understand why a robot needs citizenship

The only thing is the military robots, but in the long run it will come out that robots will fight against robots, I hope. Military robots fighting against humans would be not so good.

I am not much bothered about the robot. But what is the point in granting citizenship to a robot, when people who have spend 30 or 40 years in Saudi Arabia are still refused the Saudi citizenship, just because they are not Muslims? Granting citizenship to a robot will not make the Saudis progressive. It just shows how hypocritical they are.

Yeah, sorry to disappoint you, but that was mostly a publicity stunt. And if you've seen the video until the end, you know that was (at least partly, maybe largely) scripted. Tongue

That's not to say real progress isn't being made in the area, but it's nowhere near the "giving the robots citizenship" level. Also, it's a bit ironic that Saudi Arabia, of all places, is concerned about "human" rights.

I completely agree with you about the fact that it happened in SA! And idk if I'm disappointed or comforted to be honest.
But you're right, progress is being made: https://www.wired.com/2016/01/in-a-huge-breakthrough-googles-ai-beats-a-top-player-at-the-game-of-go/
