It simply means that bounty campaign participants did not get the promised payment(ICO token) at the end of the bounty campaign. Most probably they are scammed or just a delay of distribution.

Bounties actually are not a reward, companies do campaigns to promote their projects through signature, twitter, blog etc and they give users token instead of usd.

I saw it on an ICO thread. Someone said that they were disappointed that there was no distribution of bounty because he couldn't buy the tokens and only had BTC not ETH.

Bounties are rewards for people who supports that project. Usually they are distributed after the end of the ICO and in form of ICO tokens. Some ICOs have BTC bounty campaigns, but those campaigns are published in BTC / Service section. Not here in Alt section.

And conditions are specific by ICO.

What ICO honestly you are talking about you can share with me if what ICO you mean or you can give us the thread so that we can understand why no distribution of bounty.

For me as what i understand there was no distribution mean that there is no bounty like mention quoted below so that i think they are promoting their own ICO coins  without needs from the other members of this forum..they can translate with their way or any bounties should be in ICO coins..
But looks like they don't have time to give bounties..

Bounties are rewards that distribute among people who have participated in signature campaigns, social media campaigns, etc. in order to advertise for  ICOs.
You support a project and get paid for it.

Its specific to this ICO probably.
Never heard of bounty in ICO's.
By me, buy BTC, ETC is less reliable, more bugs, more security holes, less hashing power etc etc.
