as other members have already mentioned, it means "original poster" or "original post" but in this case, the OP right under your username means original poster, you can also hover your mouse cursor on the "OP" under your username to see what it meant and it will show "this member is the topic-starter".

Depending on the context it can either mean ORIGINAL POST or ORIGINAL POSTER.
While some forum users here are making this minor request becoming so extortbitant for the Op, @Mia Chloe has just made it comprehensible for you at Op. I hope you also keep your head down and read through the Help desk or the Search desk so that you could as well do yourself some good favours of self learning.
The forum is too broad and you can't depend the whole of your learning of being a questioner at your staying in this forum.
Anyways, you're welcome at Op.

OP you see next to your username is a SMF patch built by PowerGlove.

Identifying the OP at a glance (SMF patch).

OP has some meanings like Original Poster, Original Post but OP in this context, in this SMF patch is for Original Poster. You can easily get it by searching with Google and creating this topic is not needed.

Nice observation op. Well op, means original poster or original post. It's simply means that you were the one who created the post. If you would like, you can checkout some of these threads containing acronyms used in Bitcoin and the forum it self
Definition of some short Abbreviations used on forum. Everyone should know
Crypto acronyms and their meanings for beginners (CHECK OUT)
The beginners guide to Blockchain & Cryptocurrency

You should also try to use the search buttons more often, as easier since you get to see previous and similar threads regards your question.

Just abbreviation for original poster but is good to ask

OP is just a short form of referring to the person that creates a thread, (Original Poster) instead of calling them by name, some may feels its something bad for you to call their name without a title or using a title as well can also be annoying to some, so you would have prefer using the OP in referring to the topic content creator and the other members of the forum understands what that means, don't also feel offended when you're bein referred to in this manner, its not an insult but a way of referring to the starter of a topic.

OP now that you've gotten answers to your question I suggest you lock this thread to avoid Echolalia or iterate opinions because since it is a question that requires direct answer there is no need for repetition of same thing.

You should just read the post of Frankolala and you'll understand what OP means. Most of the times OP is used to mention the person who wrote a tread and posted it on the forum however sometimes OP is mentioned to tell others about that post.

Let's say that you have posted this post on the forum and now in this post you're OP and whoever said that OP isn't aware what OP means then they're referring to you. However, if someone says that in OP the content isn't correct and has errors then that refers to the post not to the ones who posted the thread.

In simple words, OP stands for original poster and original post.

Hello everyone,
after the creation of my first post here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--5487745 ,i noticed the word "OP" attached to my name
so i wanted to ask what it mearnt,i would be glad if i can get an explanation on what it full Meaning is?

It means Original poster....and the same time it means Original post

Whoever creates a thread is refer to as the Original poster.

On the one hand your thread that you created is referred to as the original post.
