no offense but only idiots pay attention to topics like this saying bitcoin is gonna rise or bitcoin is gonna fall with no actual facts in them. you can say whatever you want but the number of people who actually are affected by these topics are so few, that is why we keep seeing a lot of spam in speculation board about bitcoin is dead but still nothing changes. and bitcoin continues as it is.

bitcoin has halving in few days ago, and the rate was not up in significant, i think, but who know, in this middle of the month or end of month, the rate will up.

in my opinion, bitcoin halving or not, the rate was just depend on the market. if people want to buy bitcoin, while the stock has got limit then the rate will be up, but if on the market, bitcoin are ready on big stock, then the rate will be down or stagnan.

if i have much bitcoin, i will be sell but not all, i sell few bitcoin for first, then sell again while i watched the market movement.

I will say that this idea is not new i and some other users had already thought about this thing but firstly you need a logical prove about your statement because when a user said that "halving is coming" then he has prove(no of block) and by the way if you do something to encourage others then that mightwork for sometime but they will get used to it.

Spreading faith is not enough to make a progress of price increase in the current situation but as far as usual things happen to start a pump is concern, there's one thing I think that can start the things up and that is if big whales will start to make a price rally.

If that will happen, an average number in the community will think of this as a start of their speculated price increase due to halving and that will result for themselves to make a ride in that trend resulting for a sudden price increase.

1. The halving occurs every 210,000 blocks (about every 4 years). It won't suddenly happen again tomorrow or next week.
2. People are already doing that (bitcoin will rise, bitcoin will fall, etc.)

I suggest you read about how mining works and how inflation is controlled in the bitcoin ecosystem.
I also suggest browsing around the forum and check out the threads about halving that people already made.

Many peopel right now are afraid about the price of bitcoin because there is no changes from the price after block halving but this is not mean that the price will not increase soon.. Lets wait more time before we will see that the price movement will gradually increase.. i think many people are regret but better to hold than exchange it right now because you will regret if you sell right no because some investors are waiting for price decrease and buy lots of bitcoin right now and we will see the fast movement now these following months because our supply right now is reduced by 12.5 btc per block and we will see the effect this year.. just always think and relay that the price are always depends in demand and supply.. so if the price of bitcoin was reduce it will be in demand because bitcoin user or investor wants low price of bitcoin and they know they can make a profit after few months or years. For me, the yesterday it was a halving day and i believe it. Actually i have not liten to anyone that halving is not coming, i think everyone has surety that halving has come, and it was great even, actually it depend on us, how we use it on the time, it is a decision making, because within 5 min bitcoin price has been change.
But the halving has been gone, and the new price of bitcoin will come back and i am sure the price will down.

I agree that I also think that the price will go down but not so low. It will backed up again after fall. You will not lost big amount if it's happen just don't exchange it and wait ,if you afraid of bitcoin going low then change it to dollar it will not affect to us if it's happen because many ways to exchange it immediately .

But bitcoin halving was hard coded into bitcoin, The halving was going to happen wheather we liked it or not, and it will again sometime in 2020. The reason there was hype for it was because it was a massive change in the supply of bitcoin , but price is not guaranteed whereas the halving is. I still beleive we will go higher in the coming months but its not guaranteed, thats the difference.

You are completely wrong bitcoin halving haven't come just due to people speculating it will come. It was already stated bitcoin will be halved after 420000 block were mined and it was mined yesterday so yesterday was halving day.
