The corona virus is growing very fast in India, there are a lot of people dying in this country. The Indian government is working very hard to control the epidemic situation. Medical equipment has been enhanced to save lives. All countries should help the Indian government to overcome this pandemic.

What does the indian government do about the coronavirus in india right now?

The Indian Government isn't doing anything about Covid. Why not? Because they haven't isolated it, yet, to see what it is, and to work with it to find out what to do. All they are doing (like the rest of the governments) is taking pot-shots in the dark.

Cool
It seems more people are not dying due to corona virus, they are dying due to the shortage of oxygen. India increased their tax to bring development in their healthcare sector when the first wave started but after a year they only collected taxes but didn't made any changes into their system.

Corona is fake but people are dying for real now.

So if corona is fake why are people dying than? I never heard of that healthy people just died because of the lack of oxygen. I think everybody knows that something is going on. And surprisingly people who der vaccinated are not dying anymore. In my country the average of people dying last year was around 80 years, while this year it is around 50-55 years.
People are dying due to out of oxygen not for the corona virus understand? And also do you have any evidence that people who are vaccinated never got virus?

Even the people died due to the side affects after taking the vaccinations when they never tested positive as covid patient.

Mass vaccination is the only way, which means mass production centers of the vaccine and a national roll out strategy. Mask wearing, social distancing, lockdowns, the usual, does not work when the virus is already out of control. I remember when India tried to lockdown some of the largest cities and had their police force enforcing the lockdowns (this was months ago). Turns out, it delays the inevitable, mass infection.

I feel for the Indian people, the vaccine's been available yet no national rollout.

^^^ You're welcome. There were too many contradictions in statistics here and there. And why would social media like Youtube, Facebook, many others, and even Google want to direct people away from the info like they have been doing? Just to show them only one side of the story? Why not all of it so that people decide to look at what's really happening.

But now it's getting to the point where reality is setting in, and social media can't do anything about it. Harvard School of Medicine did a study that showed that less than 1% of the people who have adverse effects from the vaccine, are included in VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System).

I suspect that VAERS is over 3,000 deaths listed from Covid vaccines... plus loads of side effects in the multiple thousands. If the Harvard study is right, that means over 300,000 deaths from Covid in the States alone. Look at what Stanley Plotkin has to say:

VAERS, Adverse Reactions from Vaccines, Fewer than 1% of adverse reactions are reported

I agree with this. This has been happening for a long time now and even more so when times like this come which right now is the time of pandemic. The people on top can really maneuver what they want people to know and whatnot. Even small people but with authority van do so also. Another proof of this is when hospitals report deaths of people s covid even when they died of natural causes or even accidents so they can take advantage of the government funding. And even on the news this has been rarely talked about since these very people may have been controlling the media. Or maybe even some of the government officials are in in this also to get their share of the cake. I really am disgusted with how things are going on in the world right now specially here in my country. To many I's instead of we's.

On another note though, I think that the government in india really has such poor response to this pandemic and is taking it for granted which us why things came to this. And in some hearsays, although may not be worthy of giving a thout about, they say that the government in india still isn't doing anything to resolve the situation. Others also say that they are doing these to reduce the overly populated country. Right now I really don't know what to believe anymore. I just feel so sad for the children and the elderly that are trapoed in this situation because of the lack of action by the leaders who should he the ones protecting their people. Public interest above anything that is how it should be and not the other way around :/

Since Covid symptoms are the same as beriberi, time to get the people to take mega-doses of vitamin B1 (thiamine) to get rid of their beriberi.

It is really an overwhelming situation for any government to handle, no matter how organized it is. The Indian government has done and is doing the very best to try and handle the situation, it is always easier to cast blame when you are not in power, and it is normal for opposition parties to take advantage of this current situation to heep blame on the current government for not doing enough.

This is a time for the government to solicit for international help from other countries and communities that can provide assistance and relief materials to the poor and needy that have been locked down and health supplies to their health sector to assist.

I agree with the post from BADecker. The situation here is not looking good. But at the same time, for the initial 13 months the government managed the situation relatively well when compared to the other countries. Even with the latest spike, the death rate in India due to Covid is less than one-tenth of that reported from countries such as Brazil and the United States. The left-wing politicians and the media channels on their payroll (such as NDTV and Aaj Tak) have gone on a propaganda campaign to blame the central government. Despite all the difficulties, I would still say that the government is handling the situation quite well. On the other hand, some of the state governments (Delhi, Maharashtra.etc) have failed completely in this task.

Its sad that the covid cases in india is surging, mass cremation are consistently happening and they're lacking on medical oxigen supplies. The hospital are full as well thats why some patients are staying on their vehicle to be treated. The cases of covid in our country is worse too but not to the point that the government need to hold a mass cremation. Based on the news US, Britain, France and Germany promise to help India to fight covid and will give them support.

Covid is real and existing, people with low immune system are prone to become infected and having complications. Thats why we need to take care of ourselves by following the health protocols and avoid going outside if not really needed.

Turning the other cheek I suppose. Isn't pacifism the Indian thing? They'll probably do nothing and leave it to the herd immunity which actually makes sense. The UK wanted the same thing at the beginning of the pandemic too but they had to back pedal because the mob wanted to be locked down.

^^^ but still, hostpitals can't handle much of 10,000 patients each or even a 5000, so it is still a big number.

Let's disregard statistics when it comes to the situations of the hospitals, cause number wise, the availability and ability of the hospital is compromised if the number of cases doesn't go down.

As a result, as stated by the OP, they were forced to do unsanitary things and activities outside the normal ones.

WORLDOMETER says at https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/india/ ...
Quote
Coronavirus Cases: 16,555,849

Deaths: 188,984

Recovered: 13,829,225

Note that the number of deaths is only 1.1414939% of the number of cases. This means that most of the people who are cases are getting better somehow, but at least are holding their own.

The formal number of recovered is 83.530751% of the number of cases. This sounds like the number of sick people is approximately 2,537,640, or 15.3277552% of the number of cases.

With the current population of India being around 1,390,938,435, this means that the percent of Covid deaths with regard to the population is something like .0135868%.

Personally, I think that the number of cases is way exaggerated, and that the number of Covid deaths may be exaggerated because of comorbidities involved.

Anyway, there is a start. Remember that WORLDOMETER is attempting to capture live figures. So, if you go there, their figures will probably be different than those I listed.

Cool

Wow. I never thought that looking at the actual numbers can change the way I see the situation in India by this much. But regardless though, I still feel bad for the people there. Good thing someone decided to really do something about this and help his countrymen. Anyway man, thanks for the link. Was a good read and helped me see India's situation a bit better than just hearing it from the news.

As the title says, I am quite curious because just recently I have heard from the news that the coronavirus surge in India went from bad to worse. To the point where dead bodies have to be cremated at parking lots. How true is this? Can other countries do something about this? I feel so sad for the families there specially for the elderly and the children. I just wish the government finds a way to help their own people who are suffering right now if they cannot rely on other countries.

Lockdowns, restrictions, facemasks, social distancing , sanitizers and nothing more they can do. Finally they can vaccinate the whole country but it is not possible in any time sooner since they are having the biggest population which is equal to the China. Many countries too facing severe surge compared to India in percentage but the number are quite high due to their population rate.

Update: I just saw a tweet from @sandeepnailwal saying:

"Can't take this sitting down anymore, I am going to run a Covid relief campaign in lieu of what’s going on in India.

Need help from the Global crypto community.

I will take full responsibility for transparency, funds usage and regulatory compliance

If you want to donate.. 1/n"

I am really hoping for the best and that there would be not much hindrances with this plan so that people in India can really get some help. Kudos to this guy for actually doing something for his fellow country men.
