Hello Reader,
so im new in the cryptoverse and would like to participate in airdrops. My problem is that i dont know which ethereum wallets are useable for that.
Does it have to be a hard wallet or are there soft wallets that can hold erc20 tokens? I tried getting mist some time ago but the eth chain would never sync to 100 %. Also i have no clue how it should work with myetherwallet, but heard it can work with airdrops.

ERC20 token it's good in myetherwallet it authorize wallet that trusted to exchange your tokens or do a transaction of eth,you need only to secure your private keys and don't forget to save that,Moreover try to use etherdelta also that is a site that have any kinds of tokens but is not mobile friendly because is so slow if you a transaction there.

Use Myetherwallet on ER20 tokens mostly everyone is using this and it's very easy to use, I highly recommend it and many ICO required this if you where a participant on any airdrops .You can also add token by adding custom tokens. Myetherwallet is safe to use just don't give your private key to anyone and be aware on phising.

Myetherwallet.com is a client-side wallet that can easily store ethereum and any ERC20 tokens. This wallet id a flly compatible with airdrops. As the most tokens are ERC20 based, so myetherwallet would be better for airdrop use. It is easy to manage your balances using this wallet, you can even use it on ypur smartphone. Keep note that you should save backup data of your wallet amd never share keys publicly

Everyone will just keep on recommending myetherwallet for ERC20 tokens so you'll just get repetitive answers for this question. If I were you OP try to close this thread already so we can prevent these situations. There are some other wallets that you can use if you don't prefer MEW, there is metamask and with regards to MEW be cautious that there are too many hackers that will use fake websites to gather their users private keys and will steal your funds.

the best and safest thing is to use its official wallet myetherwallet. if you want to use hardware wallet, you can buy trezor or nano ledger.

I strongly recommend you myetherwallet it is because MEW is the most required eth address in airdrop.
It is also because MEW is a erc20 tokens compatible, most of erc20 are listed and can be stored on it and even if a token are not yet register on this wallet you can easily store it by adding it to add custom.
It is decentralized
It's easy to use all you need is your private key, and you have a full control of your wallet just be careful handling your private key because once you've been hacked you won't do anything about it.

The best wallets I used for Ethereum that can hold ERC20 tokens would be Myetherwallet.com and Etherdelta but I usually use Myetherwallet for my ERC20 tokens than than of Etherdelta.

Yes please use myetherwallet it is truelly the best most safe way to store your different tokens. I just love it. I love how it works and that it syncs online. Just make sure you make decent backups. They give you so many options to backup what you have and it even makes the privatekey and details for you which is nice for saving it as a backup.

I prefer Myetherwallet for that. Buy you can also use Mist. My recommendation is MEW with Trezor, because your private key is safe then and no keylogger could steal your password.

Myetherwallet and Metamask are probably the easiest to setup. Basically, you just share your eth address to get Airdrop tokens. When you want to send/sell tokens from MEW, you would click on Send Ether & Token, and click on the way you want to access your wallet.

Thank you short but very helpful

You definitely should use MyEtherWallet. You are the only one that has access to your wallet and only use them as a client to spend your coins. They support multiple ERC20 tokens and you can add as many custom ones as you want.
(Just be careful to not fall for phishing versions)
